So I've decided to visit all the Jersey Mikes in the surrounding area and using my pretty big collection of Jersey Mike points I have to try out and rank each cold sub on the menu. In the process I will review each location on any interaction I have with them while getting my sandwich. Each location I will order my sandwich on the app and each time my order will be prepared to go. So I started this series going to the location closest to my work and headed to Jersey Mikes on Fulton Avenue. So like I mentioned I ordered my sandwich on my app. I went with a mini #13 -- The Original Italian, which features Ham, Capacuolo, Pepperoni, Prosciuttini, Hard Salami, Provolone, Olive Oil, Vinegar, Jalapeños, Banana Peppers, Dill Pickles, Onions, Lettuce, Mayo and Mustard, all on Rosemary Parmesan Bread. When I arrived at the time the app said my order would be ready, my sandwich was ready for pickup. The store had a few customers and they friendly employees were operating like an efficient machine. Opening my sandwich I was surprised how much meat was in this bad boy-it looked delicious. Looks were not deceiving as I truly enjoyed this sandwich from beginning to end. This sandwich is obviously the first for my reviews and can only take its well deserved spot as number 1 so far. This location is off Marconi Ave by Jamba Juice and Trader Joe's. I ordered The Original Italian, but as a salad. It was a massive salad and definitely seemed more filling than a sandwich. I got it Mike's Way (no olive oil) and also added pickles, banana peppers and hot pepper relish -- it was chef's kiss. The inside wasn't the cleanest, but there were a few tables to sit at. I ordered a regular #17 Mike's Famous Philly substituted American cheese with Provolone and add it jalapeños. All of the ingredients on the sandwich were fresh. Terrible. Just ordered two giant sandwiches. $50 on Uber Eats. We ordered one Gluten Free which is extra money. They sent both on regular Italian Bread which is dangerous as this is a serious allergy. So my wife is out of luck. The issue is being looked at but not instantly resolved on Uber Eats. They also failed to make my sandwich correctly and left off condiments. How hard is it to care enough to make sandwiches the way they ordered? Here is my two cents on the food and a little bit of chatter. I ordered it through Grubhub. It arrived cold as stated and a quickly matter. My driver with professional and nice. Haven't been to a Jersey Mikes for a long long time.... I was hungry and lazy to make a meal. So I got the Jersey Mike's Super subs sandwich. The Super Sub is 14 inches long with pretty much everything on it and of course you can add or subtract additional item.... The one thing I was impressed with it was the Long Sandwich being 14 inches. But they slice it up into four sections to make it much easier to eat. The best thing I like was the bread it was very fresh and tasty. Two things I did not like was the were tomatoes being very thin, almost paperthin. And the other item as you can look in my photograph,was that the lettuce was not as fresh as it should be. But I understand that you cannot always throw everything away...... Anyway, overall, I was a happy trooper with his food and the delivery Overall I was impressed and I thought the sandwich was delicious. Every time I had a pick up order thru the establishment or through Uber eats the order was incorrect. Things were either added or not there at all. Thru Uber eats you can not get a refund or a reorder. If you are picking up and they dont get your directions correct food allergy or not you are out of luck. read more

Took forever to get my order taken, then was told it would take 15mins for the sandwich. I took my food home (~2mins distance) sandwich was Completely flavorless. The meat looked like it was essentially boiled and not grilled. Like even a bit of salt could have made it a little better. There was so much cheese as if they thought it was going to give the meat flavor, and the mushrooms were the tiniest, almost non-existent pieces. Dude I love me some Philly cheesesteak subs!! I usually come here after picking up my prescriptions next door at Anderson Brothers. Even when they are super busy they still are able to keep the line moving quick. It's always clean in here and they even have outside seating for those nice days. So obviously I order the philly. They do have a chicken option that's actually pretty good. If I had to choose a second option it would be the meatball sub. I gladly suffer trough some heartburn for that lol. I have to say, New Jersey is a fun state; it has the Jersey Shore, turnpikes, diners, and Atlantic City. And considering that "Jersey Mike's Subs" now has well over 1,000 locations across the United States, they must be doing something right to branch all the way to California. As I first heard about them back in the 1990's, it took me until 2017 when I finally gave these guys a try. Which takes me to their Arden-Arcade location at the Town & Country Village area of Sacramento. Nestled directly on Fulton Ave. (near Marconi Ave.), this Jersey Mike's Subs has been serving up its customers since 2015. They took over where the "Gourmet Wraps" once stood. Parking can be a bit tight since there are several major businesses such as Starbucks & Jamba Juice. The inside of this place is rather small with only limited seating. However, the outside does offer quite a bit of tables and chairs for those nice sunny days. I came here with my lady around 12pm on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We were kindly greeted with a big "hello" from several employees. I appreciated the warm welcome as everyone working behind the counter thoroughly enjoyed doing their job. As we had glanced the menu online (and pictures on Yelp) prior to coming here, we narrowed down what sandwich we were going to order. We chose their most popular sandwich, the #2 (aka "Jersey Shore's Favorite"). This sandwich packed a heavy dose of items; provolone cheese, ham, and Capocollo. Additionally, it included lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, mustard, olive oil, and vinegar. We went with the giant size (which was around $13.00). In addition to us being a first-time customer, we also got a complimentary chocolate chip cookie which I thought was a nice surprise. Our sandwich was made very quickly as it has a very similar ordering system to Subway. Since the weather was cooperative, we decided on dining outside. I do have to say, you do get a lot for your money at this place, even at close to $13. The sandwich itself was tasty as they did not skimp on the meats. The bread wasn't as soft as I wanted. Which takes me to their selection of breads; they ONLY offer white or wheat. Besides having a unique and distinctive taste, the other thing dilemma was that they drizzled a little too much vinegar which made it soggy very quickly. Not a big deal since everything else was above average. As I've mentioned in past reviews, the sandwich market is completely saturated. You have chains such as Subway, Togo's, Quizno's, Mr. Pickle's, Firehouse Subs, & Jimmy John's. And you have the mom & pop places as well as delis out of the supermarket. I would have to say that "Jersey Mike's Subs" is a strong 3.5 stars. Service, quality, price, and overall experience was decent.
