Wonderful place and the staff is amazing. So many great things on this menu. Start out with some baked clams or Caesar salad, maybe you would like to try their margarita pizza. Plenty of chicken dishes also. Love the chicken Marsala or just get a chicken cutlet sandwich. This restaurant is to die for. Everyone should put them on their bucket list to get there. Got a delivery and charged full price instead of the 2 for 3 deal. The driver was nice and called the restaurant( believe he spoke to Sal) Sal needs to attend a customer service charm school! My family and I love this place! To start: Parking is easy, they have a lot out front. Everything is fairly priced! They do special though out the week, depending on the day. They have dining space if you want a quick slice or they have a sit down side! We come at least once a week, and never have a complaint. Sal, Nino, and all their staff make this place so welcoming and inviting. Alaina is usually our server, she is extremely kind and sweet! My go to is penne a la vodka. I do have a gluten allergy but they're always able to accommodate me! I've had grilled chicken frandsche which I love! Their pizza is delicious. My favorite was their caesar salad! Visiting friends and decided on pizza delivery for the kids. It was a good choice. Delivery time was adequate, didn't feel long though the site indicated it was up to 50min for food to be delivered. Pizza came a bit lope-sided but not too much to affect the quality of the pizza. Order garlic knots, 3 for $1, pretty decent size and was good. Spaghetti with meat sauce was really good. It was al dente and enough meat to have a bite of meat with spaghetti in every bite. It was a good size to feed maybe 6-8, if having other items, too. Be we weren't big eaters so it could be considered less for other customers. Wings were interesting. Ordered the Italian wings, thinking it may be a dry option. It was topped with jalapeños and delicious greens. It was a tad too sweet and with the pickled jalapeños, it was more like sweet and sour & it was not a dry option. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite while driving around checking out our old neighborhood. The Caesar salad was really good and we shared a veal hero. They accommodated us and only made one half parmigiana because I don't eat tomato sauce. My side just had cheese. The veal was delicious, the bread was crispy on the outside. When I first moved to Wantagh, this was my go-to pizza spot. Their upside down L&B style Sicilian was a particular favorite. However, the last two times I got delivery, it was such a soupy mess that the majority of the pizza had slid off the crust. This leads me to believe that either A: the pizza sauce is entirely too watery, B: The pizzas are being thrown into delivery boxes and shipped out without giving them even a second to set, C: The delivery drivers are total fucking jerkoffs, or D: All of the above. Either way, I think I'm moving my business over to Umberto's. You can't charge $35 for a pizza and then deliver it to me leaking out the side of the box. read more

The plain slice was good with lots of cheese. My daughter had dropped her slice and we went to buy another but they were so sweet and gave her another free of charge. Now that is genuine kindness. I've been living in wantagh for 6 yrs and this is my go to spot. Pizza is good, spinach broccoli pinwheels are perfect for the late night snack. Stopped by Phil's for a quick lunch after a visit to nearby Bide-A-Wee. I got a square spinach artichoke slice with melted fresh mozzarrella and it was humongous! Too cheesy for me and not made w/tomato sauce which I prefer, still good but would try something else next time. Hubbie got chicken parm slice which he said was tasty. Nice addition to the Wantagh neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and even hooked me up with a specialty slice I was admiring in the display case. Phil's thing is their specialty pizzas and I have always been a fan at all their other locations. Here I tried the eggplant rollatini pizza which was excellent, the fried eggplant was complimented by huge dollops of fresh ricotta cheese. We also tried a cheese pie which was very good. My fave was oddly not a pizza at all but their surprisingly fantastic chicken parm hero. Not only was the hero delicious, but I was really impressed at the sturdy cardboard box it comes in. Most places just wrap them in foil which the mozzarella always sticks to and makes a mess. They have plenty of parking and a decent size seating area. Looking forward to coming back again! read more

We ordered 4 dinners to be delivered. Delivery was faster than expected. Phil's is great in that. They really are organized and their staff is excellent. We got 3 parm dinners. The portions were huge and the cheese was above and beyond piled on that it was so heavy to eat. The eggplant was very heavy and oily as was the chicken. It lasted 3 meals because it was so heavy. If you like big portions like this, then Phil's is your place, but we would rather have better food. read more
