They also wanted to cut into the drywall and made it clear that any damage caused wouldn't be their responsibility -- even though the setup had worked perfectly for over 25 years. Thankfully, we got a second opinion. That technician immediately noticed that the previous tech had left multiple components disconnected and hadn't even reassembled the system properly. The second company was able to fix the issue quickly and at a fraction of the cost -- no drywall cutting, no upsell, just competent service.
