It used to be really good we go often. But this time was different. They changed their onion rings to flash frozen junk and they were way over cooked. The subs were just okay not great. Like I said never had an issue til now. We will start going to Towne Lake location. And hopefully they didn't change their onion rings will ask before ordering. read more

I'm 95%sure I just paid 11$ for a hamburger helper sandwich. I also paid fir extra cheese but I can't even see cheese on this sandwich or taste it. I never write reviews but the fact this 10$ sandwich taste exactly like trash 2$ hamburger helper I'm kinda pissed. *I ordered the main sandwich, the sandwich this whole restaurant is built around, and it's trash. Don't waste your time or money at this place. The guy who runs this place is very rude. I asked for extra mushrooms and he wanted to charge me extra. They also nickel and dime you to death on the amount of eat and condiments like lettuce and mayo. Be warned. read more

Philly's aren't gourmet but they are good and at a price point of $5 to $8 not a bad deal. The fries were fried from frozen and shoe string style but good. Don't go here expecting to have the best philly ever but it's good. read more

In a search for closer-to-home decent cheesesteaks (ATL traffic and construction is getting too wild for the trek to Mad Italian to be worth it), we gave Philly Connection a shot. Their cheesesteaks were okay, but too heavy on the pepper for my taste. I also opted to add bell pepper to mine, but didn't realize what would be added were pickled red peppers. Not a bad flavor, to be sure, but not what I'm looking for in a cheesesteak. The atmosphere was clean and quiet. Definitely not a bad place overall, but I think our search will continue. read more

They have the best fried wings. They're big and crispy.we'll done. I eat lemon pepper which is made with a lemon pepper sauce or oil they toss the wings in. Te reason for 4 not 5 stars is the celery sticks are tiny and they are expensive but I suppose that's why they're big wings. I keep going back there. read more

They make a cheesesteak as close as you can get to one up north. It's good fast fresh food. A previous reviewer noted they were two Indians working there. Why that is relevant I have no idea. But I can tell you it's a husband and wife trying to make it. Who cares where they are from. They work harder than you. Consistently good for over 15 years. I placed an order over the phone and should have taken it as a sign when I drove around in circles trying to find the place. I ordered 2 cheese steaks, 2 fries, and a 20 piece wing. Neither sandwich order was correct. One was suppose to have pepperoni on it which it didn't. When I called and asked why I was told that they were out of pepperoni even though they still charged me for it and I wasn't told this over this when I placed my order. I didn't end up eating the sandwich because the meat tasted "off."The 20 piece wings which I was charged $20.99 for (over $1 per wing) were so crispy that they were barely edible. After watching this guy except my credit card after taking my order, and not as much as a thank you, I watched him precisely lay out the meat on his triple beam scales making sure not to give me 1 g more than what he has set as a portion. Of course it came out tasting like Philly connection, skimpy on the meat, you can't mess up the cheese. $10 plus change for a 10 inch cheesesteak I can go across the street and get one from the Italian restaurant with fries for 799. UPDATE from 05/16: Removing a couple of stars. I've been here maybe three times since the last review and today I noticed that they are getting a bit lazy and cost-conscious. The mayo in the packet was old - like yellow - when I opened it up. I'm just glad I noticed it before I had squeezed it onto my sandwich. Also it looks like they need to change the fry oil - the fries were brown. It was a Friday lunch rush and there was only one couple seated in the restaurant when I came in. The employees were sitting down. When I was a fast food manager as a teenager, we were told that you only sat down on breaks and if you had time to lean, then you had time to clean. This place keeps getting dirtier every time I go there. They should have been cleaning instead of sitting. The food is still pretty good, though. ----------- ORIGINAL REVIEW from 09/15: I've been to this location several times over the past few months and they are consistently friendly. The steak is lean and cut thinner than most other places. A little more expensive than most other fast food joints, this place draws a good line between fast food and quick service restaurants. Each order is cooked individually and to order. You'll need to wait a couple of minutes for them to make it, but it's always hot and fresh. This place is about 3 miles away from where I live and I can take home a good sized meal with it still being hotter than the McD's within walking distance. Don't come here for the ambiance, as there is virtually none. Come here for the tasty steak sandwiches. I've never had anything below better than average quality from this location. read more

I've had plenty of Philly cheesesteaks and the best ones have always been outside of Philly. That's because at the famous Philly places like Pat's or Geno's, they use thick steak meat for their sandwiches and serve them with an "attitude." Neither condition is what I like. At the Philly Connection on Highway 92, I've had delicious, hot cheesesteak subs served in a moderately friendly environment. The meat is the thinner, minced variety which I prefer. Prices are fair, the place is relatively clean, and the food is good. Give them a shot. read more

I am not from Philly, nor have I ever been to Philly, nor am I a big fan of cheese steaks in particular, but I wanted to give this place a try. I had the original cheese steak for lunch. The steak, onions and cheese are cooked on a griddle and stuffed into a soft, squishy type sub roll. It was OK, but there wasn't really anything special about it. Happened to be in the area and my guy and I couldn't figure out what we wanted to eat, we passed several chain restaurants and I was like whoa Philly connection! Let's go there. We went in and there was a dude picking up his order but the dinning area was clean and there were no dine in customers. We ordered the Philly subs (lettuce, tomatoes, oregano, oil and vinegar) I requested black olives but he didn't have any, no biggie. We got the biggest sandwiches they had, made it combo and for $20 (the both of us) left stuff like ticks! While we dinned there was a steady flow of customers placing orders to go. One dude ordered his sandwich and it appealed to him so much he exclaimed to anyone who was listening "fuck it im hungry im just gonna eat here.." i chuckled and continue smashing my daily sin in a hoagie roll. Owner is pretty rude. Actually one of the worst I have ever met. Had an attitude off the rip when I originally came in the restaurant to pick up a delivery order. Had to use the restroom as my stomach was killing me and got an attitude with me about it. Sorry I'm a human who has natural bodily functions. I'm helping YOU out by delivering YOUR food to YOUR customers. I never came at you disrespectful at all until YOU did. Karma will come your way eventually buddy. And I heard from other people you aren't that good of a person. And I can see it now. And if I were you. I'd be careful on how you treat people. Because if you are seen outside of your store, you might have karma catch up to you in ways you don't want it come. Remember that. :-) and work on smiling more instead of being a miserable loser. Rude and cheap! Two indian people working there and I entered they were sitting down. The lady was in the back (saw her as I past to go to restroom) and the man was into his phone. We ordered food over the phone using an online menu. The food we had was very good. The problem was the attitude of the man behind the counter who said he was the owner. When I entered the store I noted that the 6 piece for $4.99 wings I had ordered was $7.49, 50% higher. All of the prices for the items I ordered were higher in the store than what was shown online. When I mentioned the disparity between the prices the owner didn't apologize for the difference. He went on to tell me that I should contact the company to resolve the issue. He didn't seem at all concerned about my concerns, he seemed almost disconnected. I didn't leave with the impression that he cared about having by business. read more
