I forgot how disappointed I was the first time. I got an onion ring and a signature sandwich. The rings were very passable. I got a italian hoagie. 8 bucks It was more bread than contents. It was lacking cheese & meat. Good for a veggie head lots of filler of lettuce. Service was very good. I will cross this off my list...Quality was fine quantity and price not so much. read more

This was a good place when they first opened. Seems as the business grew, quality of food and customer service have taken a nose dive. Poor attitudes of the employees and they always seem to be understaffed. Sandwiches don't seem to be what they once were. After several disappointments, we won't go back. read more

what a great local spot for a cheesesteak and fries! The hoagie roll is to die for! I always get the cheesesteak with marinara and no onions--which is so tasty--and my hubbie gets the traditional Phili cheesesteak with peppers & onions. The servings are big and the fries are crispy. Since it's a local business please consider trying it to keep our neighbors working. We got hungry after a round of golf, Cheesesteak was discussed. Wow, we have Philly Junction in Fort Myers that serve Cheesesteak and scrapple. As soon as you mention Cheesesteak, an image of Amoroso rolls, thinly sliced beef and cheese came to my mind. Geno's Steak from Philly! Wait, there is more to Amoroso roll, it must be crusty on the outside, fluffy on the inside and strong enough to stand up a greasy hunk of meat and cheese! Well the beef must be lean and thinly sliced. It must be lean enough and not gristly. Spend more than 5 minutes to chew on each bite is a no-no. A little Cheese Whiz or a blend of provolone or mozzarella or perhaps a little American. We ordered the Cheesesteak and the Steak Bomb. What a treat. They were delicious and went down so fast we don't have time to breathe! Next time we can try the scrapple! read more

Can't get a more delicious Philly Cheesesteak than this, even in Philly of New Jersey! Always great and never disappoint. Service is always good and the price is fair...not cheap, but if you want a cheap cheesesteak you will absolutely get what you pay for. The amoroso rolls must be straight from Philly - outstanding! Read some very unfavorable reviews here that, quite frankly, do not reflect what I have seen after many, many visits here over many years. Ownership changed a couple years ago, but the quality of the food stayed top notch! read more

Born and raised in Philly. My mom moved down to Fort Myers in August 2021 and I'm down once/month to visit. I always have my eye out whenever I travel for businesses owned by Philly natives. This place was opened by Philly natives, but they retired several years ago. The new owners are from Chicago....so obviously not Philly. That being said, the hoagies were good. Similar to Wawa. Fresh meat, ok rolls. Looking forward to trying their cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks, but personally I was pretty disappointed that the business is no longer being run by Philly natives, hence the 3 star rating. read more

Best Cheese Steak in town! Debate me.... seriously this place hits all the marks. I was worried about moving to SWFL and not being able to get my absolute favorite northern treat. The folks at Philly Junction are straight out of Philadelphia. The cheese steaks are served on amoroso rolls which adds to its authenticity. Staff is friendly prices are honestly much cheaper than I would expect given the quality of the food. They also serve other Philadelphia favorites like Scrapple and Birch Beer. This was a good restaurant with the previous owners but the new owners have let the service part slip I've been coming for over 15 years every Saturday to get a cheese steak but past 2 1/2 years I've been working out of town I come back and still go and the last 3 months when I'm in town in Saturday they never answer the phone and today they have posted open till 700 but at 610 it's closed they just do not care anymore no sign on the door were closing early or changing hours they just do not care it's sad but at least now there's other options for cheese steaks kruks is good guess I'll go there they do not need the money or care about there customers read more

I lived in Lancaster County Pa and boy do I know a great cheese steak when I take that first bite and Philly Junction came as close as my home town's cheese steaks!! That's a 5 star winner in my book because I am super fussy. I've tried some other local cheese steaks and they weren't bad but I prefer Philly Junction. If there is one thing I could ask to be different is that you offer 6 inch and 12 inch cheese steaks or subs. The service is super good and the food is amazing, well worth every penny. I travel about an hour and a half one way just to eat at Philly Junction! When you have to have it, you have to have it!! Such a great find! We had not been here for years, and decided to stop for a late lunch. So glad we did. Walked in and no one was up front but we waited patiently since we know that no one can find people to work! The owner/cook/host came out and took our order and brought us out some great unsweetened tea. We both ordered phillys and omg yum! So many good sandwiches on the menu...we will have to come back. CUSTOMER BEWARE! Abusive waitstaff. We got yelled at for sitting down outside?!?! Had to watch and listen to a waitress have a melt down on us. It was really sad, I had my child there. Not sure what the issues are, frankly, it was simply a waste of 20 minutes of our time. Don't do it for breakfast. Just go to McDonalds next door. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with Over medium eggs and they were well done. No buggy but I added home fries for 3$. Look at the picture I posted. So for $8.37 I received two untoasted slices of cheap wheat bread, 2 over cooked eggs, venetians and cheese. Plus a pile of week old shavings of potato. I'm impressed by some of the negative reviews here. I just ordered a cheesesteak and a chicken Caesar salad for pickup and it was a great experience. The customer service over the phone and at the shop was great, but the food was even better. I've had plenty of cheesesteaks in Philly and this was definitely top of the line. I'm eager to return and try more of their menu. I believe I interacted with the owner when I was there, seems like a great dude and was very appreciative of my business. 10/10 read more

It use to be really good but not anymore some of the waitress should be fired. Maybe your tip suck cause of your attitude. It was my husbands and my first time coming early morning at 9 am when y'all open! There's only 1 other person in the restaurant and us, we got food to go and drove 10 min home to find out that my sandwich was made wrong. Such a huge disappointment especially with it being our first time. I was hungry and excited to my eat my sandwich but I had to drive 10 min all the way back out of way to get a remake done since there were onions all over the inside my original one and I ask for NO ONIONS. Let me start off by saying I went in here and ordered a chicken bacon ranch cheesesteak with fries and a lemonade came to $20 so I said to the lady what are the drinks and fries separate? She said yes it doesn't come with it, I said OK so she said "have a seat i'll ring you out" so I went outside and sat for about 10 to 15 minutes. I thought she was gonna come over and say "OK I'm ready" but nobody came over so I went back inside and waited. Everybody was just getting food but not me sat there awkwardly inside waited fucking 30 minutes for my lemonade, and then when I looked at the lady, she rolled her eyes at me, the audacity! How do you forget to bring somebody a drink 30 minutes later? I will never step foot in this place again, just take my advice and don't go here. Just go to Jersey Mike's instead way better and it will take your order and have your food for you in less than 15 minutes unlike this place!! Made me wait 35 to 40 45 50 fuccking minutes. read more

Stopped back in for some dinner and was a little skeptical after my last visit. This skepticism quickly vanished as I was greeted by the owner who was knowledgeable and welcoming from the start. Went Philly Junction today and it was amazing ... I'm a Florida girl born and raised so I don't know much about Phillies but I know this one was hot and fresh. The bread were perfectly soft and it was smothered in delicious cheese and had tons of meat peppers and mushrooms (don't like onions) and aside of fries ... it was a great lunch and reasonably priced and in a perfect location in the center of town ... they do breakfast and lunch stop by there and check it out def worth it sorry didn't take pictures was stuffing my face and driving lol read more

Well the old West Marine building is gone, so if you could find Philly Junction before, you can now. I have been frequenting Philly for many years. I am not from PA. (VA) But in my hunt for a good steak n cheese I ended up here. The buns they use are the correct texture for the sub. Also another favorite of mine is the hamburger sub. Hav a Birch Beer with it. Last but not least, scrapple for breakfast. Great value and you don't have to like the Eagles to eat there. Although I am sure it would help, but let's not go overboard. Outside dining and inside.
