Service was fantastic the two girls working there were very friendly. I'm not from the area I'm here for work and wanted to try some pretzels for my lunch. Unfortunately the pretzels were garbage. Dry, previously frozen, garbage. The cheese sauce was yuck-o 3000. The price was only 9 bucks but some how I still feel ripped off. Now I'm sad in my hotel with these bummy pretzels that were made during the civil war era. I do however feel better in my hotel knowing that I have these pretzels I can use as a weapon if provoked. I'm adding this edit up front, first thing you read. I took my other 4 pretzels home, froze 3, made one for wifey. I spread it with butter, sprinkled on bunch of Lawrys garlic salt. Knocked of most of the rock salt first. Wrapped it in foil. Then took a sheet of foil, crinkled it up, and laid it in bottom of heavy pan. Put foil wrapped pretzel on that sheet of crinkled foil. Cooked it on MED-high heat. Heated it for about 20 minutes turning occasionally, lid on. Like a little oven. It kicked ASS! Buttery dense garlicky pretzels. Was not going for crisp exterior. Just hot buttery garlicky salty dense chewy pretzel. I'm buying 25 more. Freezing them. Going to eat pretzels daily!!! Rest below is original review. Ok stupid me. I look at menu. Five pretzels$4. I'm thinkin, like, small pretzels. Look at the pics. I ask for mustard. She says large or small. Stupid me I see little solo cups, think, you know, free condiments, I mean, I did just buy your pretzels. I get a large squeeze bottle of mustard. To go with the other mustard in my refrigerator. You know because everyone already has like three things of mustard. I just wanted some mustard for my freaking pretzel I didn't want to have it for the next month. I'm not a pretzel connoisseur as my entire baseline was Auntie Anne's growing up. So I'm sure that the Philadelphia faithful have some great options to compare to, but frankly, I've not had a pretzel here that I could enjoy without dousing in cheese or yellow mustard. Part of the problem is I don't think I ever get a fresh one when I've gone... they always come from their heated display yet are immediately cold and rock solid. Ight so went the other day for a quick pretzel took a bite and was like WTF is that. Gave a bite to my girl and she instantly spit it out confirming the same thing... this pretzel tasted like straight old fish. On the first warm Saturday of spring, I decided to treat my staff to some pretzels. I stopped in to Philly Pretzels, being a Philadelphia Girl myself, to see if they were the real deal, just like I remember from home. I was happily surprised to see that they were. What a treat! Grabbed the "Crowd Pleaser", 25 pretzels and a mustard for $15. The pretzels were fresh, hot and delicious. I think the lady at the counter gave me a discount too, for having my local businesses name tag on. So sweet of her!! I will definitely be back again! Well, they certainly put Auntie Anne's in a coffin and through a cremator, but that's a simple matter. These bimbo pretzels certainly look like something special with their tanned exterior and glossy sheen but lack charisma when you start chomping on them. PSP (not the gaming console), does pretzels in a variety of ways. I saw "cinnamon bun" pretzels among pretzel dogs and pockets. The Philly Cheesesteak pouch was an improved take on something you pull out of a frozen box, slip into a cardboard sleeve, and toss into the radiation chamber. It filled my belly for the moment but not joyously. The cinnamon pretzel sticks are saved by the cream cheese-ish buttercream frosting. In fact, it merely serves as an edible vessel for the best thing about PSP, and I'm sure even that comes from a can. Again, everything at PSP looks like a briefcase full of diamonds, but when you bite into one of their creations, you don't taste much (at least I didn't anyway). As flavorless and sterile as the area in which this franchise resides, PSP pretzels lack the rugged individuality or chutzpah of a South Side pretzel or a Vinnie's pretzel. On the other hand, if you do find yourself in this shopping plaza, PSP makes for a halfway decent break from typical fast food. P.S. I feel bad giving PSP a mixed review, since the two women that waited on us were very nice to us. read more

Who doesn't lost soft pretzels?! I stop in here regularly as my parents have a nightly routine to eat a pretzel and cheese, so they buy in bulk and freeze! Can't beat the quality and price and they freeze perfectly! I typically get the 25 pretzels for $15 and you get 1 free dipping sauce for them. I've tried their medium spicy, extra spicy, and honey mustard which are all good. The spicy mustards have an awesome kick if you like that! They make the pretzels fresh and I always ask for mine with light salt. From the time I order, till I leave takes less than 10 minutes! These pretzels freshly out the oven are amazing. We stumbled on this pretezel place while traveling and looking for something to eat before getting on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. I had heard about this company by watching one episode of Undercover Boss. They offer a variety of pretzel products. We've always gotten a cup with their bite size Rivet pretzels to snack on while driving on the turnpike. They offer a variety of dips. I like the spicy brown mustard. These aren't the best pretzels I've ever had, but I find myself stopping here on occasion. Now that I think of it, I'm usually getting a pretzel dog, which hardly counts a a pretzel as much as a hot dog. And on that note I'd rather be at Johnny's next door for a dog. I generally prefer Auntie Anne's pretzels. I'm a sucker for the almond ones. These are a better option if you're looking for a regular plain pretzel - not to mention it's the only place around Cranberry like it. My wife likes the dipping cheese and I don't mind a bit myself. Really excellent service, fresh pretzels, and an overall great experience! I won a free party tray at the taste of cranberry, and the staff were soooo nice. The pumpkin dip is excellent as well. Darren thinks I'm crazy, but I love Philly Soft Pretzel and found this one to have everything the Bridgeville location (look for my review) has and everything is just as good. We came here last weekend before going to New Dimension comics. The Philly Cheesesteak Pretzel "pocket" is an awesome pick-me-up snack as are the cinnamon rods with their frosting. The staff let me try a little nugget since I'd never been to a PSP and I'm glad they did so that I didn't spend any money on one that I would've just thrown away. Went after after a not great meal at Johnny's Lunch thinking at least a pretzel may help. Was I ever wrong, this is the first time I've been here and the last. I was thinking maybe like Aunt Annies, no way these were the driest pretzels aside from bagged kind. They must have been sitting since at least opening or their pretzels are just nasty. I had to waste 3 bucks to feed the birds, the kids wouldn't eat them and likely I had some drink left over from my bad lunch experience or honestly I would have choked. Do not go here, it is a waste of money. I really don't know what these other people were smoking before their reviews, I have never gotten a pretzel this dry at A.A's. and they pretty much only have salt or cinnamon. Horrible. read more

Ordered a box full of pretzels. Had to wait a few minutes for them to get out of the oven. Once they came out, we headed for our hotel whereupon the still warm pretzels were devoured by a girls softball team in a matter of minutes. Everyone thought they were great.
