I decided to take advantage of a clip certificate and visit Philly's Finest Cheesesteaks on a Saturday. I went for the cheesesteak with onions, which came as part of a combo with fries and a drink. The roll was soft, the key to enjoying a cheesesteak IMO. The cheesesteak had just the right amount of cheese, meat, and onions, making each bite flavorful as I added fries to the sandwich, maybe a jersey thing? One cool feature that stood out was the ice bar - a unique touch where you could place your drink to keep it cool, which I thought was pretty clever. While the total price of $18.99 for the sandwich and $4 extra for the combo the price seemed right on and the overall experience and quality of the steak still made it a worthwhile visit.

Probably the best Philly cheese steak I've had in FL. Have a real neat feature at the bar for your drinks. Their Old Bay's fries were amazing and they cane with nacho cheese to dip them in.

Just an amazing bar, very jealous we have nothing like this in tampa Bar. First of all, great sound, can hear the game from anywhere in the bar. Second, it's an Eagles bar, full, we got lucky and a family left and an excellent waitress gave us the table. When the eagles scored before halftime, the whole bar broke out singing fly eagles fly, etc. along with some dj shit over the speakers. Halftime starts and instead of the talking heads, the dj comes back on. Just an amazing atmosphere and oh yeah, great Philly cheesesteaks and an ice bar. Really wish we had something like this around us, best we have is johnnys and it's not even close.

Do NOT order pizza from here! I'll make this very simple to understand. First, when I arrived and paid, they gave me a receipt that had everything I DIDNT order. They couldn't tell me what I order until they gave me the horrible pizza. To make matters worse, the pepperoni on the pizza was OBVIOUSLY not cooked with the pizza. I've included a picture to prove this. The box would have tasted better than the actual pizza. If u don't believe this, order and enjoy!

It had been ten years since I last visited, but I was craving a Philly cheesesteak at the beach and decided to give Philly's Finest a chance. The experience was mixed. On the positive side, it looks like an amazing spot for game days, especially if you're into Philly sports. There are lots of TVs and memorabilia on the walls. They also have an ice bar, which is a unique touch. While I'm not sure it kept my beer much colder, it was still cool nonetheless. For craft beer, they had some interesting local options on tap, though they were a few dollars more than expected. The bartender was nice but definitely gave more attention to the regulars, which I guess is fine. The real reason you go to Philly's Finest, though, is for the cheesesteak. In this respect, they fell short. I would rank it behind Eddie and Sons, Surfwiches, and D&LPs. The roll, cheese, and meat were all good but in much smaller portions than other shops. The price was crazy at nearly $20, not including fries. I might visit again in ten years, but I won't be rushing back to Philly's Finest because the value simply isn't there for the experience you get.

I have been here several times. The food is good for bar food. Drinks are great. They have TV's throughout and is a great football venue. Staff is always friendly. I just find that they are a bit pricey on their food selections.

    Amazing place.

I'm originally from Philly, and I've been looking for a place like THIS..... real Philly bread, real cheese, real EVERYTHING!!!! Philly style. It's a YES for me. If I'm ever in this neighborhood again from Miami I'll definitely come back!! Thanks guys. The service was great. The ambiance was PERFECT!

Been awhile since the last time being there. Changed the menu. Took some things off and added things. Started off with a beer. Candyce was happy. They have modelo especial on tap. And I had a shock top. Had the loaded fries also to start off. They were pretty good. Sandwiches were the Phillies and they were loaded and really cheesy. Very filling. Pretty good service. Really did not want for a thing. Phiĺlies finest does a good job for service and comfort.

I had been to Philly's Finest before probably about 5 or so years ago and us underwhelmed but back then we had ordered pick up and then drive back to our place in town center so it was at the top of their game. This time a friend asked if we wanted to go with them for the Birds game and we figured this would be the best time to try them out again. We arrived around 7:45PM and the place was pretty packed but we figured it would be since it was game day. Luckily for us we were able to get a high top. This place is loaded up with TVs so don't worry about where you are sitting you will be able to watch the game. Would for sure want to come back when it's less packed and try sitting at the ice bar. We started off with drinks. I went with a draft of Landshark since they had a special on them. I think it was $4.25 or $4.75 which isn't bad. We were hungry since we were eating later then normal so we order the Fried Pickle Chips for a appetizer. They came out pretty quickly which was good since we were starving. The pickle chip were good but were nothing to write home about. Had for sure had multiple that are better. Batter was just a little too thick for me. Being at Philly's Finest did you really even go if you didn't get a cheesecake? I'll answer it for you. You didn't! I wen with the Philly Cheesesteak which is served with onions and White American but I opted for Cheese Whiz. At this point should have have Whiz Wit on the menu. We also ordered Old Bay Fries since the Cheesesteaks do not come with a side. My cheesesteak was great. On a fresh Amoroso Roll with tender steak (no tough pieces here), perfectly cooked onion and Cheese Whiz all thought-out. For sure top 3 cheesesteak I have had in Jax. The Old Bay Fries were good but were really just crinkle cut fries with Old Bay sprinkled on top for $10. At least it does come with Cheese Whiz for sipping too. Philly's Finest is cooking up some amazing cheesesteak but it is on the pricier side. A cheesesteak is $14 and doesn't come with a side and again $10 for fried with old bay is a little more too. But if your looking for a great authentic cheesesteak this is for sure the place.

Another plus was that our server was very friendly and helpful, although he seemed to be having to cover for much of the rest of the staff. At a glance, the restaurant didn't seem understaffed, but they struggled to keep up even when multiple tables had emptied out. The bar and kitchen were struggling, too -- we had multiple issues with wrong items being served, and it took a surprisingly long time to get our food (even with giving a lot of grace for us being a party of 10). Dinner was 2.5 hours without dessert (with the exception of the small, complementary dessert they brought the birthday celebrant). The food was fine but nothing spectacular, and it felt overpriced. I ordered a cup of tomato bisque, which was decent, and a trio of sides for my main course: the Boursin orzo, Brussels sprouts, and pecan green beans. The orzo was pretty tasty, and the Brussels sprouts were quite nice with dried cherries mixed in. Both leaned a bit too salty but not terribly so. The green beans were a total miss: no flavor and arrived room temperature. The server ensured I wasn't charged for them. To drink, I ordered an ube piña colada (which was not strong but was tasty) and a glass of house white. My total for soup, two sides, one cocktail, and one glass of wine was nearly $80 with the 20% automatic large party gratuity included. I don't mind the tip inclusion, but I feel like I paid a hefty amount for food that didn't match the price tag. I'll also note that they have introduced a surcharge for paying by credit card. I really hope they get things sorted out; it sounded like a lot of new staff in place which hopefully means higher aspirations rather than high turnover. It's a beautiful spot.

We were seated promptly and the service was quick. Food wise, they have basic options for the kids (pizza, burger, grilled cheese, chicken tenders) which works for my family. We ordered the chicken tenders and burger for our kids and they ate 90% of their entrees. I ordered the pork belly slider appetizer as my entree and added a side salad. Both were very good- the sliders were just the right size. Only change for me would be a little less sauce on the sliders. The salad was big for a side salad and had fresh ingredients. My husband ordered the French dip sandwich and seemed to enjoy his as well. Overall, we like this tavern because it's close to home and easy with the kids. The food is good and the draft beers are ice cold. The vibe is nice for a local tavern- has the claw machines on the family side and pool, darts, golden tee, etc. on the bar side
