I haven't even finished my cheesesteak and need to write this review. BOMB! Better than some of the spots I've had in Philly. They got the cheesesteak's WITH WHIZ- run don't walk. This spot is amazing. Owner is from Philly so you know he knows his stuff and he's so kind. The rolls are soft and make the sandwich that much better. Fries are crinkle cut and if you crave the Firestone fries, they've got the same seasoning. It's located in the old burger hut on 19th, just down from the mint, it's quaint and they even got a rocky statue up to represent. I will be back, more than anyone might think. I visited as a result of seeing a post on instagram. Hands down, this is the best philly in the city. I'm glad I gave it a try.

I only eat Philly Cheesesteak when I'm in San Diego. It was a must to give them a shot. Husband and wife, beyond friendly and informing with the difference of each sandwich they had to offer. The flavor was mouth watering, slightly messy but possible because I just dug in and enjoyed every bite. They even gave us a sample of their Tostones and asked for feedback. They were tasty and crispy, just how I imagined them to be. For it being a food truck and outside, cleanliness was top notch. Well after a week of waiting for their supplies to show up we finally were able to actually try their product. Tonight we arrived around 6:30pm which wasn't long after they showed up as they were still setting up their truck. My wife ordered the Regular Philly or #1 and I ordered the Philly with Wiz or the #2. So first off the oil for the fryer wasn't to temp yet so it was a bit of a wait for the fries. Not a huge deal as they are still working out some bugs. I've been to Philly to both Pat's and Gino's where the Cheesesteak was born according to Pat's and Gino's The cheesesteak had a good flavor with onions and small amount of green peppers to me was a bit short on the steak which appeared to be thinly shaved steak. Not sure if it was shaved ribeye like Pat's and Gino's. The bread which was one of their supply issue was pretty tasty although I think that Pat's and Gino's was better. It could've been we took it to go instead of eating their. It was still 106° outside. All in all it was good and the service was great. Oh the fries weren't that great until we air fried them to fully cook them. Also they did sweat a bit. Another thing about taking them to go. We will give it another try for sure!!!! read more

I am a huge fan of the Philly's at the Kern County fair and have been on the look out for some that I can get when the fair isn't going on. Tried this place based on recommendations and loved it. We tried the original cheese steak sandwich and were really happy w the meat and cheese and grilled veggies. Great new food truck first day it was open. Good area. The Philly I ordered was great 11$ for the sandwich it came with some really good meat and the cheese wiz is phenomenal. I recommend getting no mayo or light mayo on bread because he's a little heavy handed with mayo. Philly fries were bomb just ask them to add cheese wiz to the fries because they only come with provolone. Definetly the best most authentic Philly in town. Good owner with a creative mind.
