The exact reaction I had that beautiful day

Phil can gril my grill because holy hot jumbalaya that was amazing! My whole perspective on food has completely changed and now nothing can taste as good as what I ate that day. Anyone can cook

This is a sprawling restaurant with two names Quill Creek Cafe and Phil's Grill but it's all the same menu. They have two very, very large patios which face north and maybe a little east so you really don't get much direct sun in the afternoon or evening unless you sit far away from the building and covered terrace. They have lots of outdoor heaters so if you do want to sit outside when it's cool they can fire those up for you. They even have TVs so you can see whatever sports event they may have on. Phil's Grill is a little more golf club-like in its atmosphere. They only have happy hour on Wednesdays so make a note. The menus are fairly common American food. They do have some calamari and nachos but other than that it's pretty standard salads, sandwiches and a few meat and seafood entrées. It's safe to come here for a decent meal but it's not a "dining destination" in my opinion. The atmosphere is quite the draw especially if you are out on the patio. We had a black Manhattan which was nicely not too sweet at all and a grande margarita which was a monster in size. Both were tasty and priced at $14 and $20 respectively. We enjoyed the calamari which came out on a large cast-iron skillet, it had lots of pepperoncini slices over it and a sweet Thai chili sauce. The rings were very, very small but they were very tender. A buffalo roasted cauliflower wedge salad was interesting and I added blackened chicken. I needed a little more dressing and I would've preferred fresh raw onions to the crispy onions that were served with it but all in all it was very good. The chicken sandwich was decent as well. Fairly certain that we will return given the venue and the proximity to our lodging. Most likely will try happy hour as we had some wings here in the past and they were tasty!

I don't eat at golf courses much, primarily because the ones that have food available close to home are less than desirable; but a lunch meeting for business brought me to Phil's. We ate out on the patio with a view that made concentrating on conversations a bit more difficult. Sunny, 80 degrees, light breeze. It would take a lot of that to hurt a guy. Service was excellent. Friendly and providing just enough attention to make sure our drinks were full and our meals were meeting expectations. I had the Prime Rib sub. A coworker had a salad with perfectly seared tuna. Both were excellent; cooked and seasoned just right, hot, and perfectly portioned. The price is a bit higher than a non-golf course seated meal, but as expected for the view, quality of food, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Great spot, really good chicken nachos!!!

Good little restaurant for a post round beer and bite. Between the restaurants they had some good bourbon options as well.

I visited Belmont for my birthday dinner with close friends from out of town and had never been to the restaurant before. We were seated outside on a colder night but they had plenty of heaters and blankets available to keep you warm. The vibe is upscale, classy, and gives off that of a speakeasy. This is a place where you want to dress up. I personally wore a sport coat and slacks; many of the other men in the restaurant did the same...defiantly NO jeans here. For food, we ordered the butternut squash ravioli which was probably the BEST THING I ATE IN A WHILE. The sauce was flavorful, ravioli fresh, and wow just wow...I could have easily eaten 5 servings it was that good. For my main I ordered the Filet and my friends ordered the beef short rib and gnocchi. The filet was perfectly seared and served with potatoes which were a little rich but still very good. The beef short rib and gnocchi dishes look very very good and my friends raved about them. I had a taste of the short rib and will be ordering this next time. Everything was just fantastic and the portions are on the larger side so come hungry. We did not order any drinks but did see there was a ferris wheel drink tower and many other delectable wines/cocktails available. Given this was for my birthday, the waiter brought out a special chocolate dessert which was more than enough to share. Overall, the experience was fantastic, so much so I asked to speak to the owner and manager. The owner Phil and manager Alex were very professional, kind, and thankful for us choosing to celebrate/dine at Belmont. These are GOOD people and everything about the Belmont makes me want to go back and support them even more. Cheers to the Belmont, I will be back!

From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable and welcomed. The hostess showed us to our seat and gave us our menus. Our wonderful waiter, Alix, popped by to see if we had been in before, let us ask questions, and she was more than happy to give us thoughtful recommendations. I did take a little peak to what others were drinking and eating. I couldn't help but think, if their food and drink tastes as good as it's presented, this was going to be a heavenly dinner!! I was excited to say the least. I started off with the Juniper Fog which has Gin, Blackberry, Alpine Liqueur, Amari Bergamot, & egg white. I chose this drink from previous Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. So smooth, so flavorful, went down super easy, and had the right amount of alcohol! I could drink these all day long!! My bf ordered the Casadei Sogno Super Tuscan which was full of flavor and went down really smooth. We started off with the Heirloom tomato panzanella which was out of this world with flavor!! *Chefs kiss* It has whipped ricotta, assuaged, torn country bread, tomato water vinnaigrette, and basil. I can't even put into words how much I enjoyed this starter. So much flavor, so thoughtful with ingredients. Those croutons were packed with flavor. For dinner we ordered Lobster Fidelo Paella and sausage & fennel pizza to share. The Lobster Fidelo Paella was so rich in flavor with large portions of lobster. Every bite was just wonderful and was as good as the first bite. It definitely felt like a guilty pleasure enjoying it!! It's a large pasta dish, so be prepared to share or take some home! The sausage & fennel pizza was hot, super fresh, and delicate. I am not a big fennel fan, but still went for this pizza. It was not overly fennel and I thought it was perfect. Flavor was spot on, temperature was perfect, and I could enjoy this pizza every day. Although we sat inside, there is a nice outside dinning area too, which looked like a nice dinning area! I Can't wait to go back!!

The area is not huge but there is outside seating, but touch in our current summer weather - be fabulous during winter months however. Our server was great, highlighted the menu and gave us great suggestions too - for food and drinks. The oysters were good - but they are pretty small - not like the larger rock oysters you get at dedicated oyster bars, etc. - but they were still good and the dipping sauce was SO good. The sandwiches are HUGE - we were not expecting them to be so big so we split both and took the leftovers home. The fries are amazing - crispy and crunchy and well flavored/seasoned. So we will definitely be back -sooner than later!

Once we parked, we took a short walk to the restaurant, and reservations are recommended because the lines get long and wait time can be very long because this spot gets hot. We were seated right away, and Jake was our server. We did not come for dinner, but just for snacks and drinks because we already had dinner reservations. The place has it all, and it's an open-air restaurant that opens up, giving you a nice view of the outside. It's like a mini oasis with lounge chairs, fans, chandeliers, all types of tabletop games, bean bags, and live music. There is an outdoor-like area and a more enclosed area. We started off with some bubbles and some wagyu pigs in a blanket. These were to die for and were tender, juicy, and rich with flavors. We had some bread, asparagus, and a truffle butter that Jake recommended, and everything was fantastic. The freshly baked bread had that wood-fired taste we all love, and the butter melted in your mouth. The asparagus were cooked to perfection. We plan to go back here for dinner the next time to try more food. As the night went on, the lights in the park came on, and music and bands started playing, and the whole area lit up with excitement.
