Philz always makes a good cup of coffee and each one to order. This location has friendly staff and plenty of seating.

This one is located in downtown Lafayette. Specifically at the Lafayette Mercantile Center. This one is a lot bigger than the ones I have been into. Also a nice set up. A cute hang out for a cup of coffee and a pastry. The staff were friendly. Nico helped us today. Although, I didn't try his go to coffee, he made a very good Mint Mojito and Tesora. It's been a while since I've had Philz coffee so it was as if it was my first time having Philz coffee. So it was a nice visit.

I can't say enough about this place, it's one of my favorite destinations in Lafayette. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and they always make sure your drinks are to your liking after it's handed over to you. Great decorations hanging inside and sunny seating inside and out. And the food is as good as their drinks. A+

Philz in Lafayette is always a great spot to grab a coffee and get some work or studying done. The vibe is chill and welcoming, making it easy to settle in for a while. My go-to is the Mint Mojito--hands down my favorite drink on the menu. The staff is super friendly and attentive, even when it's just two people holding it down behind the counter. I really enjoy spending time here, not just for the coffee, but for the atmosphere too. One cool touch is the poster they have with Insta dogs' photos , creative and fun detail I love.

This is consistently the best Philz in the area IME. The drinks are better than the ones in the surrounding areas. The staff is nice, they get drinks out in a timely manner, and overall it's a great little spot. Then again, I don't count the minutes and sit back and happily people watch. Spacious and cute enough inside. Easy parking for the most part and can take a little walk around town to entertain yourself.

I was looking for a place in Lafayette to sit comfortably for an hour or so, and have a nice cup of something hot. Phil was rated well so I decided to try there. The staff was very friendly and I ordered a large coffee. The place was clean And had good music. The clientele were mostly young folks. I enjoyed sitting there for an hour on their very comfortable couch.

We ordered through Uber eats Best coffee. That's all they have the coffee come in a box now so it makes it easier to transport.

This Philz is my spot!! I usually hike around the area and like to stop here after to get a little coffee to perk up my day. I get the mint mojito, less sweet and less creamy. I've gotten a variety of different outcomes when I order this, depending on the person making it, but it has never disappointed. Their price point is on the pricier side, but it makes up for it in quality. Their food items always look slightly disappointing and nothing ever calls out to me, so I have never ordered any of their food. I wish they had better pastries or food items that weren't lackluster and didn't break the bank. Overall, I prefer this location because of the fast service, quality drinks, and friendly staff. Thanks Philz!!

Really nice staff, large assortment of baked goods they can warm for you. Bacon Onion croissant was on point. They have all the various coffee drinks including their Philz offerings. I had the mint mojito and it was delicious. Tons of seating and easy parking in the back.

We opted to not sit outside, rather inside right by the exterior seating to still get the vibes but also some AC. I love places like Lafayette where all the businesses support each other and help each other grow. Their brews on tap are mostly all local, and we grabbed some Pilsners sourced from Lafayette's new brewery, Western Flyer. So fresh and crisp. Can't wait to also check that spot out. Food-wise, we came in mid-afternoon and grabbed a Kale Pancetta salad (they pre-split the salad for us on two plates which was so nice), and for the mains, we both grabbed the Tuna Melt with fries. The salad was delicious. I'm def a tuna melt girly, and I loved the addition of the ciabatta (?) as the bread option, so fresh as well. This tuna melt comes with grapes fyi, and a few other elements mixed in. I absolutely loved it, just sharing though as I know how some tuna stans like their tuna :) This spot is clean, spacious, and perfectly situated in walking distance downtown. Would love to come back for brunch with a group of friends, or even again during the upcoming Lafayette Art & Wine Fest. Food is good, service is quick and friendly, and vibes are right. Metered parking located across the street.

I…read moreknow they have several locations throughout the Bay Area, but since we were in Lafayette, we figured we'd finally give this one a try. We arrived around 11:30 a.m on Monday. There was only one party ahead of us waiting to be seated, and it didn't even appear that they had been acknowledged. About two or three minutes later, a gentleman came over, asked how many were in their party, and seated them. We then waited another five minutes before the bartender finally looked over and asked, "Have you been helped?" We replied, "No." He asked how many were in our party, whether we preferred inside or outside seating, and then seated us inside. After sitting for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgment from the server, the bartender returned and took our order. I had two very simple modifications to my meal. I repeated them a couple of times just to make sure they were noted, as they were nothing complicated. I simply didn't want two ingredients that normally came as garnishes. The bartender read my order back, confirmed the modifications, and walked away. About 35 minutes later, our food finally arrived, but we still hadn't received our beverages. I politely asked another server, who had yet to acknowledge us once during our visit, if we could please get our cappuccino. He brought over a regular coffee instead. I politely explained that we had actually ordered a cappuccino. He seemed irritated but said, "Fine, I'll go get it for you." Unfortunately, my food wasn't prepared correctly despite the bartender repeating the order back to me. Even more disappointing, my entire meal was ice cold. The scramble was cold, the toast was cold, and honestly, nothing on the plate was warm. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there wasn't a single opportunity to mention any of this. The bartender never came back. The server never checked on us. Even the person who delivered our food never returned to ask how everything was. We were essentially forgotten after our meals were dropped off. I genuinely hate writing negative reviews because I work in customer service myself and understand firsthand how overwhelming the service industry can be. I completely understand getting busy. What I don't understand is completely ignoring your guests. Even when you're overwhelmed, acknowledging customers and checking in, even briefly, makes a huge difference. Looking back, I probably should have taken the condition of the restaurant as a warning sign. When we walked in, there were numerous tables inside that still had dirty plates, cups, and leftover food from previous guests. The outdoor patio looked the same. What surprised me most was that many of those same tables were still covered in dirty dishes when we left. I wasn't expecting perfection, but I was expecting much more than what we experienced. We spent over $50, received cold food, an incorrect order, waited an unusually long time for drinks, and never had a single opportunity to let anyone know because no one ever checked on us. It was honestly a very disappointing experience, especially after hearing such positive things about this restaurant.

Indoor seating if you want quiet, plus a big covered patio out back with string lights, wine barrel tables, and heaters for the colder months.
