    Popeye omelette

Must have been an off day for the cook because this was the most mediocre omelette I've ever had. To begin with, when the server finally arrived, he took our order and disappeared. Came back 10 minutes later to take our order again. Confused, we let him know we ordered already. So he goes back to the kitchen and maybe 10 minutes later our food comes out. My food was lukewarm and tasteless. The potatoes were so bland no amount of salt could have helped. It was also very loud in the restaurant. I could barely hear my friend talking. The only good thing was that parking was easy. Will not be going back here again. Not worth the money for terrible food.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, so after a little hike with a friend, we decided to stop by since the menu looked great! We were sat pretty quickly, though we were in the middle of the restaurant, where it was extremely noisy, so when a table opened up in a corner (before we ordered), we asked to move, and our server was kind enough to oblige. Unfortunately, the experience went fully south from here. After about 10 minutes in total, our waiter stopped by and we ordered our drinks and breakfast, and also asked for water. Another 15 minutes later, our lattes showed up. I asked for water again, and he seemed surprised by the request. He brought the waters and then asked if we were ready to now order our food.... which we had already done. Luckily, the food showed up a couple minutes later, so it had been put in and he just forgot. My friend got the spinach omelet, which she said was overcooked and had zero flavor. I ordered the corned beef hash, which also had zero flavor. Overall, just loud, inattentive and forgetful service, but also, flavorless food. I might come back for the pancakes, but overall, this was a huge miss for us.

We love this location! It's much more spacious, cleaner, and lots of bright natural lighting with an addition of outdoor seating! We've always loved going to the OG San Jose location but this one here is much better. Our favorite dish here, chicken n' waffles tasted just like the SJ one. The chicken pieces were fried perfectly, waffles were cakey and crisp, and the gravy was flavorful all around. I personally love adding hot sauce into the gravy for additional heat & flavor. Our waitress was nice and was quick on her feet; she made sure we had everything and drinks filled up. No issues here! We're definitely coming back!

Ayeeeee!! Breakfast of Champions!! Literally such a cute little cozy spot to eat and get lit early AM with full bar!!! Our server was so nice and attentive. The clientele was a mix of "I just crawled out of bed hungry" (us) and local professionals meeting up. Seems like a cool brunch spot !! The menu is pretty mixed and it took us awhile to order bc we wanted it all!! My OJ was freshly squeezed and the coffee was freshly brewed and tasted really good. The omelettes all had fresh ingredients!! They have hashbrowns yay!!! I love !! The food just needed alittle more seasoning or salt or something along those lines. The presentation was really good and the chef can cook but it was like low-sodium seasoning (maybe bc their clientele is older white folks I dk) But wow- the coffee cake was soooo delicious! Definitely will try again soon!! Maybe they have an early happy hour (they close at 3 )

My friend and I share a birthday and every year we pick somewhere to go out to eat with our moms. This year we checked out the breakfast club. I had the farm table bloody Mary, which was very refreshing and delicious. We all shared an order of the blueberry ricotta pancakes, which had just the right touch of sweetness to them. For my main meal, I had the breakfast enchiladas which I thoroughly enjoyed. They were filled with eggs and chorizo and topped with guacamole, sour cream, and pickled jalapeño. I especially liked that it came with a side of refried beans. I took off one star because the ambience was not quite there for me. Not only does sound carry in a busy restaurant like this one, but they had music playing very loudly throughout the restaurant. On more than one occasion we had to either ask our waiter to repeat himself or he had to have us repeat ourselves because he couldn't hear us speaking. That is the only thing I would change about my experience. Otherwise, I would recommend eating outside if you want to make sure you can hear the other person talking.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the breakfast sandwich with fries... really good. Sandwich was full of bacon and eggs. Service was quick but they forgot our toast. We ended up getting the coffee cake instead. Everyone was satisfied with their orders. I'm

    Midtown Scramble

Breakfast Club in Lafayette continues to be my go-to, and I honestly prefer this location over the Walnut Creek one. The difference? The service feels more dialed in and the food is consistently better, must be the chefs, because everything comes out just right here. I ordered the Midtown Scramble, and it was perfect. The eggs were cooked exactly how scrambled eggs should be, soft, fluffy, and not dry, with just the right amount of add-ins to make every bite flavorful without being overwhelming. Everything came out hot and fresh, which I always appreciate. On the side, I got the hash browns (crispy and satisfying) and the coffee cake, which honestly deserves its own shoutout. It arrived warm, packed with berries, and was such a delicious and unique substitute for toast, sweet but not overly so, and a great complement to the savory meal. My partner went with the Basic Breakfast, and it was equally delicious, simple, classic, and executed perfectly. The fresh-squeezed orange juice is legit and tastes exactly how fresh OJ should. Ambiance-wise, it does get a little loud, but that's totally expected for a popular brunch spot and honestly adds to the energy. A big bonus is the walk-in bar seating, which is a fairly large area with big TVs, perfect for catching early morning sports while enjoying breakfast. All around, this location nails it every time. Highly recommend Breakfast Club Lafayette if you're looking for great brunch, solid service, and consistently excellent food.

Went on a Sunday morning and easy to get a spot at the bar for one. There will be a wait if you want a table and the wait time will vary depending on the time you get there. Enjoyed their Popeye omelette, hash browns and instead of any kind of bread substituted a pancake . It was delicious and I'd order that combo again. Service was excellent. On the weekend there is a large parking garage that allows two hours of free parking and it was wide open. Very convenient!

Pomegranate mimosa and a Mariachi Mary
    Gaby M.

We came on a Sunday morning, we were seated right away by two hostesses. It did take a while for us to get help, maybe they were short handed but other tables were helped immediately while we weren't even brought utensils or water. That was the only negative part of this place. Once we were helped our server was kind and attentive. My husband got a Mariachi Mary and it was great; they make the mix in house and we would've loved to have purchased it for home. I got a pomegranate mimosa, also great. For food I ordered the California benedicts and my husband the Santa Maria. We both agreed we'd come back again, food was wonderful. The restaurant is large, lots of space and clean.

First time I went here was great and good service. Today, was not so great. No one came to us in for a while. No utensils and the server grabbed ones from a dirty table. There was food suck to the bench near our heads. The server didn't write down our order and messed up 2/3 of them and had to send things back. Once we got our food it was good and warm. Very busy by the time we left but service lacked.

What a cool spot here in the East Bay! These portions are massive - if you're looking to get your money's worth, this is your place! The restaurant is nice inside, no issues there. The service was okay enough and not because they didn't care, but because there were only a handful of employees working with a pretty busy pace. They were definitely hustling around, they just could use a few more bodies. The George Scramble was huge, consisting of (4) eggs, bacon, and hash browns. The spicy Korean Chicken fried rice was big enough for 2 people itself. Not knowing, we also ordered a side of Linguica Sausage (one of my favorites when I see it) and candied bacon. All food was excellent, and my cholesterol just went to the moon after this breakfast! Will definitely visit again especially when we are hungry.

Great veggie Benedict and seasonal pumpkin spice spiked coffee!

I feel bad for the bartenders, they should have at least 3x the space to work in.
