This place is great on a sunny day, they have so much patio seating; plus they have this grounds for your garden program. Where you get coffee grounds for composting! Theirs is always full!

Oh my goodness, so much gratitude for this Starbucks! Always kind, super fast, positive and clean. I just spent 3 days at an airport for the computer wipeout in Atlanta and horrible service and it was so refreshing to come back to kindness and the BEST tasting coffee! Salina went the extra mile once again with my sticker when I said I had lost my voice. Thank you!

Their beautiful outdoor seating deck is open!

This is hands down my favorite Starbucks in Walnut Creek-maybe even anywhere! What does it for me is the wooden deck surrounded by the small pond and fountains that create the perfect backdrop to your morning latte. I enjoy coming here to work for an hour or so on the deck (pretty good WiFi) for a change of scenery since I WFH. Staff is always super pleasant and they do a great job of keeping customers socially distant and safe. There's a large parking lot, making this an easy place to stop for pick up or to linger for a while. It's located in the Countrywood shopping plaza, making convenient to stop by before or after your errands. Currently only open for outdoor seating, but there is plenty of it. Such a cute Starbucks!
Shayla B.

Been to this Starbucks location a couple of times in the past, and I can honestly say that it's one of the most beautiful Starbucks that I've seen in the area. Didn't even know that it was a Starbucks for the longest time because of the setup. It has a very rustic cabin-like build with a beautiful deck and gorgeous patio setup. In the summertime, this Starbucks is the super hangout spot! The deck crosses over a cute little pond and is surrounded by pretty water fountains. It's actually a nice place to sit and relax. Normally, people flock to their beautiful outdoor seating on their deck, but during this time of COVID, it's slim pickins'. Although I adore the scenery, my gripe with this Starbucks location is that it isn't as consistent as the other locations that I frequent. First of all, this location tends to be busy because of where it's located. Secondly, when I've ordered iced drinks in the past, they always seem to come out watery even when I tell them light ice. I usually just ordered another chai because I'm obsessed with Starbucks chai latte. But even when I've ordered my chai latte hot, for some reason, this location doesn't make them super flavorful or very sweet. Aside from that, I really do adore this location for the scenery. If for not for anything else, I'd still check it out again so that I could simply just sit out on their deck and enjoy the sites and sounds of surrounding water fountains.

I came here because I was in the area. This is a cazibo you have to park and get your drink. It's in a big shopping center so plenty of parking. They had my phone order right away. There are plenty of chairs and tables all around with a huge tree with plenty of shade. This place is super cute.

I don't understand the 1 star reviews this Starbucks location has. Like, are you really so mad about beautiful fountains, tiny waterfalls, spacious outdoor seating and a wooden bridge you have to walk or roll over to get to the front door? That alone deserves five stars, the coffee is just a bonus.

Located in the Countrywoood Shopping Center is this SB location. Its between Safeway and McCaulou's. Just look for the brown wooden fence, and you'll see it. Why I like this location: ~ It's surrounded by a pond with ducks. Its like it has a little moat. And on the outskirts are more tables with umbrellas. ~ Unique with it's wooden bridge, fountain, and large patio. A great place to relax on a nice day. ~ No issues with the baristas. Nice and friendly. ~ They make my caramel macchiato just fine every time. Note: ~ There's no drive thru. ~ Only a few small chairs inside, but its better to sit outside anyways. ~ Parking can be a bit crazy in the mornings, and especially on weekends.

Ask for light ice instead got a whole bunch of ice in my drink.

Standard Starbucks that anybody could go to. It's smaller than normal but has a lot of seats for outside dining. The reason why I gave this site only three stars is because I asked for light ice and yet they gave me a whole bunch of ice in my drink. You would think they would follow the directions of the customers and what they want, especially for the price they're paying for. Hopefully they will get my order right next time.

Ask the Community - Starbucks

Does this location have outdoor plugs for chargers since most of the seating is outside?

I do not believe there are plugs outside, unfortunately.

The outdoor seating is really cool and the staff is always pleasant (I'm learning "pleasantness" isn't a California virtue).

This is one of my favorite weekend spots in the summer since it is only outside seating. Seating is shaded which is great! Parking is also pretty good on a normal day!

To start, the employee working at the cash register was super friendly and gave great suggestions on drinks and food to order based on how sweet we like things or more coffee for we may want things to be. There isn't really any indoor seating space but they did build out into the parking lot with a few picnic tables and chairs for people to stay and eat their food. While we both really enjoyed the food - both of which were recommended by the employee - the coffee was not good at all. Pro: the avocado toast that we ordered had a curried chickpea salad on top and it had a delicious flavor. That was probably my favorite bite! We also shared half order of the blueberry waffle, and it had a type of granola on top that provided some really great textures. The food certainly impressed me. Con: Both of us felt like the coffee had none of the flavor that it was supposed to have (we both ordered the cardamom maple iced latte with macadamia nut milk) and instead, it just tasted like milk. It didn't even really have a coffee forward flavor. Since this is a coffee shop that was a pretty big disappointment. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but would skip the coffee.

I assume it's true because their cup sizing has changed which I'm sadly disappointed. It's more open space/spacious and I had to create a new rewards account. Drink menu names changed slightly on kiosk and on the wall. They don't have that tacky shelf with plush, stuff, Knick knacks, for sale anymore. Drink still good, I don't think recipe has changed. I heard, then seen it for myself, the instagram post and stories shared by friends, of people dancing and partying at the shop late nights after hours. Then when I went in, also still had the sign up that said they did dance concert or hosted DJ nights at the shop. But Im also assuming it was under the old management and they must've got caught something doing something illegal or something they weren't suppose to be doing. The minus one star is for the cup sizing. Bring it back! Main reason why I love coming here, a good price for big cup size. Now it's like every other boba shop. Which is fine, but I won't go out of my way to come get boba here like I used to.

This was my first time visiting them again since the ownership change so it's been a minute. What I see here now is just depressing, not just because the place was empty, but it's now devoid of anything that felt like a spot someone would want to hangout at. No music, when I got in there was one person waiting for their food and nobody was even at the front counter for minutes before somebody finally came out from the back. Ordering is just through the kiosk now, which isn't a bad thing. The part that was really rough was the reason why I even came here; the boba. I got a regular milk tea which now they only have a single size. I miss the extra large size they used to have, but oh well. The next issue comes with how much the boba actually costs. They may have gotten rid of the extra large cup sizes, but they're still charging the almost the same amount for it in a much smaller cup. What a deal, right? And we get to the actual drink. When the person making the drink after receiving your order finishes within a minute of making it, it's never a good sign. Why is that? Well, they had premade jug of milk tea ready to pour out for your tasting pleasure. When you have a premade jug of milk tea, it's never a good sign. While I've had them at other places that have done this before, and it's ranged from bad to mediocre, the one here at Milk Tea Lab, now, was in a word, rancid. It was incredibly gross with absolutely no redeeming qualities to it. I generally try not to be so harsh, but this was really not it and I couldn't even finish the boba because of how bad the milk tea was. It's sad to see how big of a dropoff this spot has become compared to what it used to be. This isn't like when they first opened where there were only 2-3 boba spots right next to them. Now there's at least a handful of options within a few minutes away, and dozens of spots within a mile or two, and this is what they're pushing out? It's a shame but this Milk Tea Lab which was their starter store is no longer a place I would ever go back to for boba. It's time is now past with this new ownership.
