This Philz Coffee location is tucked away in the corner of a couple of restaurants like Local Kitchens and Super Duper Burgers. Parking Spacious with seating inside and outside! Along with counter seating. The baristas here are friendly and polite. *Yuzu Twist Lemon Tea -initially yuzu caught my attention. Though paired with lemonade diminishes the subtlety of the yuzu. It was refreshing and the mint gave it a nice twist. I liked it.

Nice Philz location in Los Gatos, not in downtown but still drivable. The inside is quite cozy and very holiday themed. Got my Mint Mojito fairly quickly - it was pretty good, nothing wrong with it. Would come back here again if I'm in the area and craving Philz.

Oatmeal Cookie (Off-the-Menu)

Been coming here and getting the same order since their iykyk ordering system, and I get this almost 3x a week whenever I'm back in the area. Get the off-the-menu "oatmeal cookie", hot. Medium creamy, sweet sugar. Parking here definitely has more space than the Campbell/Pruneyard location, but the lot can be busy on weekends, whereas the Pruneyard location has overflow street parking options. There aren't as many indoor tables as the Pruneyard location, but there are a handful if you can snag it in time!

Came here around 11am on a Tuesday. We didn't feel the warmth and welcome we typically get at a Philz. There were about 3 baristas working and no one in line when we got there. As we approached the register there wasn't anyone present, all we heard was someone yell out that they'd be a moment. We waited about a minute, no biggie. Ordered our usual, iced mint mojito. It took a normal amount of time to make, but we didn't hear our names called. We just so happened to glance over and see the drinks on the counter with our names on them. It wasn't too busy inside either, though all the seats were taken by customers working, studying or chatting with friends. Not sure why it felt so off. We typically go to the Philz on Bascom in Campbell so I think we'll stick to that one.

This came out of my coffee this morning. I thought I had experienced this once before from this location, food in my coffee, and this proves true. I don't know wtf this is, but I will not be returning to this location. Found Philz long time ago when I worked in SF, I am a coffee lover and they have a great product. Been living in this area for a while and this location has been a disappointment.

Philz pesto sammich

Door dashed my morning order because I woke up late. They ran out of turkey and they subbed it with a delicious chicken pesto sammich and an extra burrito to compensate. The best service I've received in MONTHS from any establishment. Thank you for making my already hectic day into a happier one!

I used to not be a fan of Philz. However, as it turns out, I was ordering the wrong drink for my tastes. I ordered the Honey Haze and now I'm addicted. As a lover of healthier options, the honey and oat milk combo was right up my alley and with the ability to tweak the creaminess and sweetness level, my drink came out perfectly suited to my taste. I think I came back to Philz pretty much every single day during our trip to San Fran. I still prefer Starbucks, BUT I will 100% go straight to Philz for coffee as long as I'm in California.

I'm not a coffee lover person but this coffee shop is amazing. If we want coffee, my choice is always Philz

Mint Mojito and Mission Cold Brew

Ashamed to say as a Bay Area native that this was my time at a Philz, this is the closest location to my place and I love it! I ended up ordering the Mint Mojito and my friend got a Mission Cold Brew and kouign amann. I didn't know what I was missing out on until now!! The service was fast and there is a lot of seating inside and outside. Lots of parking in the lot nearby, really convenient to get to. The pastries here are mouthwatering and pair well with the coffee. Just wish they had a selection of savory/salty pastries that nullify the sweetness, regular was more than enough for me.

Mint Mojito
Jenny G.

Whenever I visit the west coast I always have to stop at Philz for the mint mojito. The fresh mint really makes the drink. I like how I can customize it to be to the sweetness level I like. The only thing that I wish is that there were more places to sit at this location. Although crowded I did not have to wait too long for my drink

Philz is a staple for us whenever we are visiting California from out of town. Even though Chicago now has multiple Philz locations, there's something different about the Philz coffee made in California. My go-to order is the Mint Mojito w/ the Sweet and Creamy modifier. If you're a fan of sweet coffee drinks, don't forget to make your Mint Mojito sweet and creamy! It's probably the single best chilled coffee drink I've ever had in my life.

What's your favorite drink?

The iced mint mojito is the most unique drink there for sure. It's good. The mocha tesora is really good too. For plain coffee I like Jacob's Wonderbar and Tantalizing Turkish.

Hey there Party People…read more I had heard of this place from friends so I decided to try it. I confused this place with another restaurant when I did my first review. So I want to set the record straight because Los Gatos Cafe was a really good experience. It's a small place but there are outside tables as well. You can order lunch at any time as well as breakfast. We started with Banana Chocolate Chip pancakes. Holy smokes they were the bomb. They had a ton of fresh bananas inside as well as a nice amount of chocolate chips on top. I had the Hot Turkey and Pear sandwich. I know the combo sounds weird but it was super tasty. The pear added crunch and sweetness to the sandwich. There was also a good dose of grilled onions to go with the owie gooey cheese....yum. Hubby had the Granite Flank Steak Sandwich . It was smothered in Gorgonzola cheese with a good portion of Flank Steak. The steak was tender and well seasoned. It was the perfect flavor bite. So going to add this place to the frequent flier list. Be kind to one another

I tried a good variety of the menu, Shrimp & Grits, Pulled Pork Benedict, Chicken & Waffles, Banana Nutella Churro Waffle, and Cornbread and Coffee cake. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and there was a good portion of them. Really flavorful dish. Other favorite was the Pulled Pork Benedict and Chicken & Waffles. Great portions and flavor on each. The Banana Nutella Churro Waffle was a little decadent and sweet for me, but I would've loved that dish when I was younger, and probably could've eaten the whole thing too. Service was friendly and food didn't take long to come out. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for inside this time, but would definitely pick outside on a nice day!

My friend and I both ordered the smash burger and I've got to say it was easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned so well. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. And whatever you do, DO NOT skip the bread pudding. It was a 1000/10! Not overly sweet, perfectly balanced, and the texture was incredible. If you're on the fence about dessert, just order it, you won't regret it. The only minor downside was that the sodas were very flat and tasted a bit syrupy. Other than that, everything was fantastic. My love of Sweet Pea's started in middle school French class when we got crepes from Sweet Pea's as an end of year treat, and after that, I was hooked. You order at the counter, then grab a seat and your food will be brought out to you. The interior is very small, but they do have more seating on the covered patio, which is usually pretty shaded by the tree lined street. We hadn't visited Sweet Peas since we returned and decided to have lunch there today. We saw they added some additional seating near the parking lot, which is nice as there was always some difficulty in finding a seat during the heart of meal times on weekends. Ordered one sweet (banana, strawberry, Nutella) and one savory (chicken pesto) and loved both. Just as good as we had remembered. Generous amounts of chicken breast in the chicken pesto crepe and the sauce is just right - tasty and mouth watering, without being salty or too rich. The sweet crepe was also delicious with a lot of strawberries inside. Some fresh whipped cream came with the crepe too. Service was friendly and our food came quickly. These have always been two of our favorites, and the quality was as good as ever. One day we'll try more of the menu, but since it had been awhile we went with our reliable standards. Pricing is fine - not inexpensive, but not overpriced given the good food quality. They do add a small service charge to orders. Recommended place to get some high quality cafe food, esp the crepes!

We prefer this location because it's closer to our home, easier to find parking and not as crowded. We love to meet with our friends here and support this local business. I would usually order their yummy crab soufflé omelette or crabcake Benedict, but I wanted something lighter this time. So, I ordered their crabcake club sandwich with the garden salad. The sandwich was like a BLT with crabcake. For only $18, it had a pretty decent size of delicious crabcake inside. The sourdough was toasted really well and there's just the right amount of thousand island dressing. The salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing was fresh. The small walnut chocolate cookie chip cookie that came with the sandwich was a perfect sweet ending to my meal. I felt satisfied and not overly stuffed. Others in our party also enjoyed their food. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight.
