Phin Capphe and Boba is one of my top three tea shops in Portland. Every drink that I've had from them is delicious. I've gotten hooked on the Pandan foam. Service is friendly. You can tell that they take the time to make high quality drinks and provide exceptional variety. My go to drink is a green Thai tea with egg pudding and Pandan foam. Saw this place close by to where we were visiting and decided to check it out. Located in a huge plaza, w/ ample parking. The mini chairs outside reminded me so much of Vietnam and thought that was really unique (in a good way). Interior is nice, not too loud. There's 2 kiosks to order from or you can do it at the register. Friendly staff, delicious drink. One thing to note is that if you order from the kiosk and select "light ice" there's a glitch in the system, but if you scroll to the bottom where it says "add note", you can request it there! I've had so many egg coffee, pandan coffee, ube coffee, etc. in CA that I don't think it's gonna taste too different. Instead, I opted to go for the pistachio coffee (sounds and tastes delicious)!! Really lived up to its flavor. I requested 50% sweetness and less ice, which IMO, it's perfect. I don't really like sweet coffee so this def hit the spot. However I didn't love eating the tiramisu and getting chunks of ice in my bite, or drinking the coffee and getting chunks of ladyfingers. If you struggle with textures, beware. I stopped by here again and ordered their egg coffee. This time I asked for less ice and 75% sweetness which was perfect for me. The egg coffee was very creamy once everything was mixed together. The inside of the coffee shop is pretty cute, with lots of decor and plenty of seating for you and friends to chat, wait, hang out, etc. Service here was a bit slow, but polite. My boyfriend and I ordered at the kiosk and there were quite a few different options. We ended up getting the egg coffee and the coconut coffee (blended), and it took about 10-15 minutes for the drinks to come out. Both drinks were pretty good, but the coffee is very strong (so be aware!). Definitely good Vietnamese coffee, and I would come again. A review that was long time coming! We absolutely adore Phin caphe and boba! The location is pretty easy to find & parking is a breeze since it is in a little strip mall. Upon walking in, it is always super clean & everyone is always super welcoming. You order at the counter and then pick up from the other side of the counter. There is seating inside and it would make a nice study environment or coffee date spot. The prices are super reasonable for the quality of ingredients and for how insanely delicious everything is! We ordered the pistachio coffee & the ube coffee both were $7.50. Our friend ordered the mango colada and it was $7.75. I can't come here without ordering the ube coffee!! It is rich and so incredibly delicious!! The top it with coconut flakes which adds a nice flavor and texture once mixed in. This time we also tried the pistachio coffee, it was the best pistachio coffee I've ever had. Super pistachio flavored but not fake tasting.
