okay, woah. The coffee shop has a cute interior design and a great place to catch up with friends. I love all the coffee options, including ube, pandan, and pistachio. There's something so satisfying about how they have coffee, milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies which would felt overwhelming... something for everyone and any time of day. I got the pistachio coffee. Sweetness could not be adjusted, but honestly it was really tasty with 100% sweetness! The foam was silky with a strong nutty flavor, balancing out the strong Vietnamese coffee
Interesting concept that drew us there. Tiramisu cake on top of a boba drink. Tiramisu cakes on the matcha and coffee were both good individually, but didn't make sense inside the drink. Eventually was left with a strange drink full of cake bits. Coffee with sesame foam was pretty good and so was the coffee with egg foam. Nice folks working there and the restaurant was clean.
Phin Capphe and Boba is one of my top three tea shops in Portland. Every drink that I've had from them is delicious. I've gotten hooked on the Pandan foam. Service is friendly. You can tell that they take the time to make high quality drinks and provide exceptional variety. My go to drink is a green Thai tea with egg pudding and Pandan foam. I also had their special iced matcha latte with matcha tiramisu and it was super delicious. I'd recommend making a top here for a delicious and unique beverage.
Saw this place close by to where we were visiting and decided to check it out. Located in a huge plaza, w/ ample parking. The mini chairs outside reminded me so much of Vietnam and thought that was really unique (in a good way). Interior is nice, not too loud. There's 2 kiosks to order from or you can do it at the register. Friendly staff, delicious drink. One thing to note is that if you order from the kiosk and select "light ice" there's a glitch in the system, but if you scroll to the bottom where it says "add note", you can request it there! I've had so many egg coffee, pandan coffee, ube coffee, etc. in CA that I don't think it's gonna taste too different. Instead, I opted to go for the pistachio coffee (sounds and tastes delicious)!! Really lived up to its flavor. I requested 50% sweetness and less ice, which IMO, it's perfect. I don't really like sweet coffee so this def hit the spot. Hoping to be back here soon, maybe give another one a shot or might just get the same one. Either way, this place is great for good coffee, either dine in or take out!
Came for the tiramisu latte in partnership with Ngot and LOVED IT! Phin Caphe is in a great location with lots of parking. There are tablets to order on inside. Lots of fun drink options. Lots of tiramisu and pastries to try. The tiramisu latte was creamy and bold. However I didn't love eating the tiramisu and getting chunks of ice in my bite, or drinking the coffee and getting chunks of ladyfingers. If you struggle with textures, beware. The staff is ultra nice and the inside is very clean. It's small so the tables could be full.

Every sip was like heaven to me- it was sooo creamy. The best part is that you can ask to adjust the sweetness (I just did 75% sweetness) The place was small with a few tables and chairs. It was all taken when we walked in but shortly after ordering we found a table. Service was decent and coffee came out fairly quick! If and when Im back in Portland- I would love to stop by again!
Service was quick and easy preordered online! It was very cute and cozy inside did some reading inside and the music was great! My bf got the ube coffee and I got the matcha tiramisu only available Friday, Saturday and Sunday it was so yummy and creamy definitely will come back when in Portland again.
I really liked their pandan and ube coffee. Both tasted good, but I liked the pandan better. The pandan foam wasn't too sweet and was light and fluffy. I liked the coffee flavor as well and it wasn't too strong for my taste. I got 50% sweet and it was perfect. I wanted to try their egg coffee too, but didn't get the chance since I was just visiting Portland.
Popular spot for locals. Layout more for a to-go order but it is regularly filled with families that like to hang out. Furnishings heavily used. Nice wall murals. Ube Signature ~ pricey for a cup filled with ice. Nice sweet flavor. Pistachio light subtle taste, Pandan nice vanilla feel. Fast food like service. Apparently no ice meant filled over half the cup.
The vibes here are very chill with cool and nice decors! Lots of seatings and tables available! Easy to order from two kiosks... Ordered egg coffee (less ice, 50% sweet, oat milk, condensed milk) - real impressed with this drink! I actually loved it so much and I would come back to this place! It reminds me of other Vietnamese coffee shop back in the east coast. Delicious and refreshing on a hot day out there! If ya are in mood for strong coffee tasting that equals to a Vietnamese coffee, this is the place! read more

Lately, they quickly sell out of food options (or they never made any in the first place.) Here's a thought: make/order more. And the wait times are just getting painfully long. Maybe done giving them my business as they're definitely slipping. read more

Such a great place to go to, when running errands in the complex. The ambiance is simple and quiet. The service is nice and welcoming and they are glad to help you if you have questions about their menu. The quality is fresh and refreshing. read more

-I don't live in Oregon but I come here almost every time I pass by Portland, because the Ube coffee is soo good. I've a tried a few places in Oregon but this has to be my favorite one.My mom really enjoyed this place as well. Plus the logo and mural is so cute! - I've tried their pandan coffee, salted coffee, and sweet corn. They're all good, but Ube has to be the best! One of the best ube coffees I've ever had, they give so much Ube foam on top but it's not too sweet. They even put a lot of COCONUT SHAVINGS on top which pairs so well with the coffee. I've never seen other places put that much before! And it just feels like the Ube coffee is meant to have coconut shavings. -I recommend 50% sweetness if you like a moderate level of sweetness, at first I was worried it might be too bitter. But it doesn't affect the taste of the coffee at all! -One thing to note though is that the sweet corn coffee is that it doesn't really have a strong sweet corn taste to it. It's still good but it tastes like a normal coffee. I was expecting the coffee to have a blend of che bắp and coffee. read more
Love finding me a solid egg coffee spot!! So the only thing I would say about my Portland spots vs my California spots - the drinks are a bit smaller with the egg ratio being equal to or larger than the liquid portion. Not a bad thing but the drink doesn't last as long but just as delicious! read more
I don't need coffee to function, but I enjoy coming here for the unique drinks that I can't find at other coffee shops. I tried adding boba to my coffee just for fun, but I wouldn't do it again. 100% sugar was too sweet for me, more like drinking boba than coffee. Since then, I've been ordering with less sugar, and the coffee tastes much better to me that way. Ordering at the kiosk saves a lot of time. The space inside is not big and can get noisy and crowded during busy times. They've put out some plastic chairs outside for extra seating, which is where I prefer to sit. read more

I really wanted to enjoy this place but I found it be disappointing which is a bummer as I had been looking forward to trying this spot. I ordered a strawberry matcha and could not taste the matcha. the strawberry flavor tasted like nesquick strawberry milk powder. read more

I have been wanting to check this place out for awhile now but I'm never in the area. Finally had the time to stop in today as we were coming back into town. Service was great. The young lady working the register was friendly and helpful when I was placing an order and not sure of what to get. The coffee shop is super cute but small. The drinks were delicious! My husband loved the Ube coffee and said he would definitely come back for it. I had the pistachio coffee and it was okay. I think next time I'll get the pandan. read more
I stopped by here again and ordered their egg coffee. This time I asked for less ice and 75% sweetness which was perfect for me. The egg coffee was very creamy once everything was mixed together. Coffee is very strong. When I stopped by there were some vendors selling art and baked goods at the shop too. The parking lot was much more packed than when I went there the first time, but I was able to find a parking spot. The drink was also made quickly. read more
I came here for a quick stop one morning while waiting for dim sum and it was a good pick-me-up. The inside of the coffee shop is pretty cute, with lots of decor and plenty of seating for you and friends to chat, wait, hang out, etc. Service here was a bit slow, but polite. My boyfriend and I ordered at the kiosk and there were quite a few different options. We ended up getting the egg coffee and the coconut coffee (blended), and it took about 10-15 minutes for the drinks to come out. Both drinks were pretty good, but the coffee is very strong (so be aware!). Definitely good Vietnamese coffee, and I would come again. I just wish they would also have some options for lighter coffee! (But that's all personal preference!) read more

First time at Phin Caphe and wow -- it was delicious!!!! I tried the Ube Coffee because that seems to be one of their most popular drinks and it was so flavorful. The Vietnamese coffee was rich and smooth. The Ube was creamy and sweet. Overall perfection! Next time I would go down to 75% sweetness but if you have a sweet tooth this is the perfect treat. The location is quaint and cute. Clean space with lovely staff. I also tried the sea salt coffee hot and the passion fruit tea and both were just as amazing. I would also go down on the sweetness for the fruit tea but the flavor was just amazing!! Highly recommend checking this place out. read more
Cute little boba shop. The workers here are friendly! You can order on the kiosk or with the cashier. I haven't tried any food yet but every drink that I've had so far is so good! I'm a sucker for Vietnamese coffee so the coffees I've had are a little strong. The pandan is my favorite! Give this place a try and thank me later! read more
First time here because we have heard things. Things like Ube Vietnamese coffee, egg coffee and seasonal sesame coffee. Say no more. Walk in and order at the counter. Menu is displayed on the screen with pricing, averaging $6.50 per drink. One size. Hot or cold. We asked for a Ube coffee with less ice. Pay for with a credit card and wait a few minutes anddddd done. First impression: cute, good presentation, less ice means less coffee. A huge scoop of ube- very creamy texture. Love the added touch of coconut topping. Pretty tasty. I would like significantly less ice or if the size of the ice was smaller, which would make the drink that much tastier. Coffee is strong. I like that they have a few varieties of flavors that will keep me around for another try or two. Parking is shared by the surrounding businesses. There are plenty of spots if it's not busy. Cash or card payment accepted. Chill place. A bit small if you have a large group. Cute though. read more

- convenient parking, located in the corner of a large plaza - excellent service! they kindly explained the drinks and sizes drinks: (1) matcha latte with sesame cream: high quality matcha (i believe they use rocky's?) that wasn't bitter or grassy, it paired well with the creamy strong black sesame (2) sesame latte: small 9oz coffee that packed a punch and lasted me the whole day! a strong espresso drink that again had that toasty sesame top, it was delicious! read more

I got the pandan coffee and it was amazing! The sweetness of the pandan cream topping went perfectly with the strong Vietnamese coffee. A great afternoon pick me up treat. The shop has a lot of seating inside and even a bathroom. A nice place to get drinks with friends and hangout! read more
Service was quick & cashier was friendly & nice. Ordered an iced ube coffee and iced milk coffee. Ube coffee was so delicious! Very creamy. The milk coffee was alright, tasted like a Vietnamese coffee but just not as flavorful. Shop is like any other boba shop. They have tables & lounging chairs with board games & such. Overall, very delicious coffee with cool Asian twists, will be back to try more coffees! read more
Overall: Phin-omenal! Ube-solutely love it! Location: Great location with plenty of parking. Service: Friendly and very fast. We got our Ube Coffee with less ice that had a bit of coconut on it within minutes of ordering. Flavor: The coffee didn't have as strong of an aroma and was on the creamier side compared to the traditional Vietnamese coffee and when you mix in the Ube, it got even creamier - not a bad thing at all. It's very comparable to Coffeeholic's Dreamoholic in Seattle and I would even say it's better because of the creamier texture and the coconut that's on top for that extra bit of flavor. The one thing that did stand out is the ice was large so I'm glad I got less ice. read more

I've picked up a coffee at Phin several times now! Each time I got something different, and each time the drinks were great! I really enjoyed the Sea Salt Coffee, as the saltiness of the foam matched well with the strong Vietnamese coffee. I also really liked the Ube Coffee, so I'd recommend that one too. There are many different speciality flavors so I would be happy to come back here to try those out. The drinks here are about $6-$7. The interior of the store is cozy, and the staff are friendly. I also noticed that they make their drinks very fast, which is a plus! read more

Ordered the taro milk tea and ube iced coffee at 75%. It's creamy, thick, and sweet. I think I would order it at 50% next time. I really get the ube flavor in mine and the coffee itself is bold and strong. I look forward to coming back and trying the pistachio! The place is a bit crowded on a Saturday afternoon. I was hoping to get some work done like a coffee shop, but it's nice to hang around and chat. Would appreciate if parents controlled their kids running around. It's one thing to have loud kids.. I understand kids are kids but opening and slamming the doors and falling and pushing each other as if it were a playground is a bit much.. read more
Loved finding this spot! They have amazing Vietnamese Coffee which is being surprisingly hard to find in our coffee mecca. The staff was friendly and efficient as I didn't wait long for my drink to come out. The place itself is very cozy and would make a good coffee/boba with friend spot. I'll have to go back and try the Ube coffee and tarp options at some point. They are part of a strip shopping cemetery so parking is easy! read more
