The flavor has been good every time, the quality of ingredients good, and the portions are bigger than almost everyone else. Even the portions of their non-Pho dishes are pretty darn big. Service has been good and the price is cheap. Pho 75 #2 is in the same strip of building (around the corner) but this place is winning in my opinion. They stay open late too. They are fast, they accurate, and the veggies are fresh. On a cold, rainy day, this stuff hits the spot. Their spring rolls are a nice choice for an app, and I love their BBQ pork banh mi sandwich. I have the large order of rare beef and tendon pho. I have eaten in a number of places in this neighborhood so I know what to expect such as cash only, rough looking part of town and some sketchy people on the parking lot. I agree that this place is among the better pho places in Fresno. My only gripe is than my pho had very small chunks of tendon instead of a good bite portions. The broth was amazing, and the noodles were wonderful, and I very much enjoyed the meatballs as well! Except...the more I ate the meatballs, the more I started noticing it wasn't the highest quality meat. Don't get me wrong, it was still very tasty to me, but I think next time, I will order the #16, raw steak. Thinly cut strips of meat served raw that cook in the boiling broth as it stews. Mmmm, also very tasty! For the price, the servings are very large! My family has paid patronage to this establishment for as long as I remember. The owners knows us fairly well that when we order, they give us our usual: extra lime, basil, water, peanuts. My usual order is pho tai. The broth is very good with cuts of rare steak that are plentiful and thin. Food comes out very quickly and there is always ample seating. Prices are fairly reasonable. Pho 75 #2 has the advantage of being open late on weekends, yet service is slightly better (still crappy) here. Don't ever order anything larger than a medium-size bowl- you won't be able to finish it, believe me. Huge portions for the money. I went yesterday at around noon after a night of drinking, and all of us agreed that it tasted a little off that day. Idk what the deal was, but it was noticeable to the point that my friend commented that she should have just made us pho at her house (she's hmong, and a damn good cook, so I know that the restaurant should have done better.) I hope yesterday was just an off day and not how the soup will taste from now on... But considering that there's so much competition in this crowded little strip mall (really, why aren't the pho places more spread out?) there's nothing really that makes this place stand out more than any other to me. read more

This place was recommended to me by one of my friends who's lived in Fresno for 2 years now and she was right, this place is pretty good. It's a little hole in the wall and isn't the cleanest place in town. The tables are sticky and the chopsticks are a bit sticky...but I guess the more ghetto it is the more authentic it is. I had a extra large bowl of pho with raw beef (on the side) and beef balls. The soup was boiling hot which is rare. I think in order to have good pho you need to have hot soup. If the soup can't cook the bean sprouts than its not hot enough. I also like the fact they put the beef on the side. Not many places do that and if they do there is an extra charge. My dad had the pork chop over rice and that was ok. The chops were a bit oily. My cousin had the BBQ pork sandwich and I had a bite of that and it was delicious! Definitely be back soon! read more

I do like the food. Big portions but not the cleanest in terms of preparation. I had one BAD experience. I did a take out late at night. Took it home and saw that the meat was BURNT to a crisp. I took a picture. Came back the a few days later and showed them the picture. No one could do anything about it or had any response. People talk about lack of service a lot on here. You order, they bring the Pho, it's that simple. what else can you possibly want? It is NOT fancy, it is GOOD, that's what counts. Vietnamese do not care about clean restaurants, Thai and Chinese do. Go to the bathroom before you come if that bothers you. Their beef stew is beyond compare and I eat it at a lot of places/ Most of the help do not/ or refuse to speak english, so what? They understand your order and you get what you ordered. They have always treated me very well, maybe because I am not a snob and simply want to enjoy the food. Nothing in Fresno compares to it. I seriously doubt anyone waited a half hour to get in, it's small and packed and impossible to go unnoticed. Find your own seat when one opens up and enjoy. They don't ask if you are happy, rich, full or if the food is good, your empty bowl answers all of those questions. I was looking for a place that sold pho n a review said they had boba drinks which sold me. I would like to say it's a pretty ghetto area but the chicken pho was delicious. I walked in and the guy asked me if I wanted a to go order or eat there. I decided to seat down n eat my pho there. I must say the chicken pho is good but the broth might need some work. The taro with boba was sooo good I can seriously go get another one. I liked eating there bc they didn't bother to come n ask if everything was okay which I like.
