So yummy!! I got the Shrimp rolls. A Coke and a #7 (Eye Round Steak Pho Soup). The service is super friendly. Similar to most Pho places, you can sit anywhere. The lady who greeted me when I came in very nice. Thjs Pho is AMAZING and the rolls taste very fresh. Didn't know what to think because this place is new and does not have many reviews. The #6 (pho with well done brisket) was delicious! The broth had plenty of flavor and of course came out at the perfect boiling temperature. The Vietnamese fried spring rolls definitely tasted like they came from the freezer, but were very reasonably priced so it kind of made sense. Service was a little slow/off, just in that aside from bringing out the food and taking our order, nobody really checked up on us to see if we needed anything. The hot tea was $1 and it looked and smelled like a lipton tea bag. The only items on the table were sriracha and hoisin, even after delivering tea - no sugar. They do offer coupons in the local ValPak that comes out occasionally - I have seen them twice now. Most tasty beef aroma Pho soup I've tasted. I really don't like too fragrant Pho soup this is a tactic some Pho places use to cover up the use of less beef meat or bones to make the soup.Too much clove and cinnamon just cover up delicious beef flavor. This trip it was meaty flavored soup with just the right touch of fragrant spices. My second trip in this place and hope its maintained. I know every batch of soup can be slightly different due to the meats used but I really like how the soup taste in this place. read more

My 1st visit here and I'm not impressed with the Shrimp Summer Rolls. What I expected was herbs and vermicelli noodles tucked inside along with the shrimp but the 2 rolls were stuffed with shredded cabbage. This place has some really good Pho! Wanted to try this place out. I ordered it to go so the add-ins were packed separately from the broth itself. I assume this was done so nothing was soggy when ready to eat it. I ordered the spicy beef with rice noodles. The broth was spicy and had the right blend of herbs. The spice came from slices of jalapeño peppers. This is the perfect meal option for those below freezing nights. I look forward to trying a different one next time but this one was just right! read more

This place is so good. I mean just drinking the broth was bomb by itself. We randomly found this place on yelp and drove 20 mins to pick up our order. We got the shrimp pho, shrimp fried rice and shrimp rolls. The pho was soooo good. Since it was carry out they packed the noodles, shrimp and toppings separately from the broth. The shrimp rolls were fresh and served with peanut sauce and the fried rice wasn't too hard and had a lot of flavor we ate it without anything added. No soy sauce or anything. Not authentic Vietnamese. It's run by Chinese people. Doesn't even come close to the real thing. I'm fairly disappointed.

This is a pho place in Beltway Plaza Mall with an entrance to both the outside and interior of the mall. Overall, it was decent. They had no diet drinks available, only water, so I had to detract for that. Their summer rolls were decent but didn't have any pork in them, just shrimp (but that may be a positive for some folks). The pho was good, had a good broth, and I liked their size of rice noodle they used (a little thicker than most pho places). They didn't give me a lot of usable basil but it was just enough for the regular size bowl I got. The restaurant is pretty clean and my only other complaints were that the staff sounded like they were arguing while I was there and were a little noisy and there were no paper towels in the restrooms, only one of those horrible air dryers. I guess that's what jeans are for though, I guess. If I wanted pho and was already in the area, I would pop in again. read more

I ordered Grilled Beef, wait time is acceptable but the taste of the food is NOT. As if I'm eating Salt Stick, I hold my temper coz I don't want to be rude but the staff says it's the sauce they use so ordering the same would be the same taste. The Pho there is the equivalent of me making my own Pho at home from store-bought Pho broth seasoning, dry pho noodles, and frozen meat. The noodles were overcooked (which would explain my long wait for a take-out order) and fell apart into pieces that I could only eat with spoon instead of chopsticks. The broth was bland. The meats were thinly cut and clearly tasted frozen. The waitresses and cashier were not Vietnamese (at least on the night that I went). Given the quality of the food and that half of the items on the menu are Chinese dishes, I doubt that the owner and/or chef are Vietnamese. I'd either take a longer drive to a better Pho place or pick the Peruvian chicken place right next door for dinner next time. By the way, did I say that I'm Vietnamese? I've eaten at a lot pho places and if say overall this is a solid pho spot that deserves its following of locals. Broth was flavorful, portions are typical with standard garnishes, sauces, etc. The real issue is the competition, with pho 88 and pho VN one (both better in my book) nearby it's hard to recommend unless it's a shorter drive or your ordering takeout someone who'd rather have one of the Chinese takeout dishes offered. I was super excited to hear that a pho place opened up in Greenbelt since there's a lack of good Asian restaurants in the area. I came here for lunch and the place was fairly empty...but that's understandable since it's a new restaurant. However, there was only one other Asian customer there and I should have realized that there were good reasons why. I ordered the regular sized #5 pho with eye of round steak and well done brisket, along with a strawberry bubble milk tea. I was surprised at how small the pho was....if I didn't know better, I would have thought it was a small size. It was mostly broth, with four small pieces of meat and a small handful of noodles. The pho seemed a little overpriced portion-wise for $7.50, but I would have overlooked it if it were actually good. The broth was pretty mediocre; it tasted more of MSG than meaty goodness, so I could tell that there wasn't much time and effort put into it compared to actual good pho broth. The noodles were also on the mushier side so that was a little unpleasant as well. The meat slices were actually nice, but I would have been happier if they added more. Only reason I'm giving this restaurant three stars instead of two is because of the strawberry bubble milk tea. The milk tea itself was pretty bad. It was overly sweet and tasted nothing like strawberry, although it's to be expected since it's called Pho 168 after all. However, the bubbles were actually super good, better so than places that specialize in bubble tea. They were perfectly firm and chewy, with a nice hint of sweetness to them. I probably won't be returning here since there are some decent options near campus, but it's nice to see that there's finally a pho restaurant in Greenbelt. read more
