House Pho, lemonade and egg rolls.
    Chuck L.

If you love fresh Pho and are sick of places watering down the broth at the end of the day and masking the beef flavor with excessive msg this is the place for you. Delicious deep beef flavor clear broth with tender filet and high quality beef brisket and flank. The lemonade is a must and the egg rolls are delicious. I recommend asking for a side of the house fish sauce (Nuoc mam) with chili for dipping. Enjoy.

Spring rolls gone wrong it's just lettuce and dry old chicken

I ordered spring rolls. They gave me lettuce wraps in rice paper with peanut sauce! Not real spring rolls !!!! Spring rolls come with more ingredients! Do not recommend !

My brother treated the four of us for diner, three brothers and my grandson. We had the CHA GIO- spring rolls AND CANH GA CHIEN NUROC MAM- chicken wings for our for appetizer and for the main course we all had the same dish which were PHO HAI SAN- seafood noodle soup combined with shrimp, imitation, crab meat, squid and chicken broth. Everything was delicious and at the right temperature. The ambiance is casual and the aesthetics were bright and beautiful. The service was good here and I like that the manager came around to chat. My brothers come here frequently to dine here so they are familiar with the manager and staff. The pho reminded me of the yelp event at Fresh Takes on Pho and the awesome new friends I made there. Remembering Victor H. giving me a lesson on how to navigate the noodles. This was my grandson's first time eating pho do I was able to show him how to navigate the noodles. He did okay but practice is needed but we had a good time.

I paid $7.50 for a basic spring roll. No cilantro, no daikon, no carrots, no cucumbers, nothing just some iceberg lettuce and glass noodles.

Food basic. English was not the severs first language so I accidentally got a triple order, because of a misunderstanding. A summer roll should have daikon, cilantro, cucumbers, carrots, mint and thai basil. Underwhelming and overpriced.

It's new and clean but something about the atmosphere is giving unfinished. I came strictly for the Pho, people swore it was amongst the best or the best in Savannah that they've tried. I'll go ahead and agree that the pho was great and the beef bone broth I could drink it everyday faithfully. The pork fried dumplings had a great flavor but hardly any filling. The summer roll was decent but it was slimmer than most restaurants. The grilled pork chop is a hard NO for both of us. There was a sweet flavor that didn't mix well with the burnt grill flavor. Our server was kind, but just young and it probably was her first job.

Very friendly staff! Clean restaurant with lots of seating. Pho was very filling and came out fast. Pho was great (8/10), points deducted because the meat had too much fat. Came with a group of 6 and we all thought that the meat had too much fatty pieces but tasted great!

I haven't even tried my food yet and this place more than deserves 5 stars. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Ricky with such a welcoming smile I felt like I walked into a friend house. My sister just had surgery and he heard me on the phone with them, put a rush on my food so I could get her asap. While I waited I was offered a water and a place to sit with a table while my order was being made. The inside is so clean and inviting. It looks as if they're going to have an outdoor sitting area but it didn't appear to be set up when I came. My food is to-go and I'm sure I'll be adding to this with pictures of our food and a review on that. So far, I absolutely recommend this place even if it's just for the environment. So my sister and I came back because I forgot her spring rolls and I'm over the moon happy with how our experience went! We ended up dining in and since another person heard me ask my sister if she wanted to just sit here and eat before heading home, they showed us a table, brought out dishes for our food that was in Togo containers and Derrick took great care of us. I happened to stumble upon this place and now I'm going to definitely be making special trips out here just for this AMAZING food. I cannot wait to take my kids and nieces here soon!!!

The soup and rice noodles is really delicious

We tried their PHO and PAD THAI dishes --- both excellent --- as were the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The offerings via the menu present a more diverse and broader range of foods --- more South East Asian overall. What we find odd is the ratings attributed to the former Saigon Bistro are attributed to this new restaurant. This is confusing. The good news is we find the offerings here, in our limited experience, to be excellent. Highly recommended.

I find it nice and comforting when it is clear that many other patrons to a small restaurant are obviously regulars. There wouldn't be regulars if a place wasn't good! That said, my meal was mostly kind of meh. I got the Vietnamese crepe, which is more like an omelet, and I think I just ordered something that didn't hit my palate right. My guy was happy with his meal (pho), but I found mine a little bland and wanting. I am sure other things would have been better, I just chose the wrong thing to order. Service was pretty good and I can see this as being a solid, every day lunch spot for folks in the area.

The takeout was neatly packaged and deconstructed (I just got the pho tai), and you put it together at home. It was quite good! Fast forward when pandemic started to let up and the tables were out and you could eat in. Wow, well the eat-in experience was just way more enjoyable. But I really just enjoyed ordering food at sitting for a change. The workers are super nice and accommodating. It gets busy here at times! And no surprise... as the only pho business in town! Now is it the best pho I've ever had? No, but it is quite good and I'm not going to be picky! They have the basics plus some. Wish they had the coconut juice and smoothies, but I rather have the good food. We come here almost weekly, if not more! Warning however, don't expect big city cheaper prices. This is the only pho in town and they charge in line with it. What we order for 2 adults and a kid is *almost* twice what we'd pay even in CT. But it's good enough to warrant it. If there's ever another decent pho place that comes to Bluffton however, it might be beneficial competition for diners. A big draw... their pork dumplings are AMAZING!! My daughter and husband loves them so much, they insist on their own appetizer each. They are so well crisped all around and just so tasty. Definitely recommend! Also, I always end get their regular beef pho (pho tai) and we get my daughter the chicken on broken rice. (Oddly it's not actually on the menu, but they have it). It's like sliced up thin chicken in a delicious seasoning that's sweet but also a tiny bit of a kick. My daughter hates spicy but still eats this! It comes with a sweet sauce (one similar to the kind that you pour on a bun (noodle) salad dish), and my daughter likes to dip the chicken slices in it. I keep thinking I'd branch out to try other dishes, so maybe I will eventually! If you are hungry for pho, or some other great dishes, definitely come here!

Absolutely delicious. My friend's veggie broth was excellent, too! There's hoisin and Siracha on the tables, plus my favorite hot chili paste. The pho comes with the side plate of Culantro (big leaf), Thai Basil, sliced jalapeno, lime wedge and fresh bean sprouts. I ordered the Large size Pho and took half of it home, while my friend ordered the Small. I have pictures of both the small / large sizes, but you can't tell the size difference - the Large is REALLY large - a big tall bowl. The service was excellent - nice cool water refills. Everything was great start to finish and the owner is very proud of her restaurant and making sure that customers enjoy their dishes. HIGHLY recommended!

The service was a little odd as each appetizer and entree came out at different times, one dish at a time and one appetizer after the entrees were all delivered. But the flavors were incredible and the service was friendly. Tom Kha Gai soup was excellent with a great coconut broth and the cup at $5.95 is huge, like a large cereal bowl. Spring rolls were great too and we loved the steamed Shrimp Rolls in a lemon teriyaki sauce. Two of us ordered the Nam Tok Beef Salad and it was amazing. My first time ordering this dish. It's similar to Laab/Larb but with beef instead of chicken. It was a tender flank steak, tossed with lettuce, cucumber, green onions and chilis. Choose your heat level, I went with spicy, just a step below the Thai spicy and it was just enough to make my nose run. You can also get it with zero spice, but that combo of hot beef, crisp cold vegetables, spicy, sweet, sour, crunchy and chewy. I was debating between the Fried green tomato BLT or the Caprese Grilled cheese then our server Kristin suggested the mussels and that is what I ended up with and I am so glad I did. These were absolutely the best mussels I've ever had. The sauce was not the traditional garlic/shallot wine sauce but had more tomato and basil reminiscent of warm bruschetta. I had to borrow my husbands spoon to get every bit of that sauce after I finished my mussels. My husband had the famous shrimp and grits which he absolutely loved. He noted it wasn't overpowered with sausage like most other restaurants do but had a perfect balance of flavor. My mom got the lamb burger and also loved every bite. She loved lamb so as soon as she saw that she had no doubt what she was going to order. Both my husband and mom loved every bite. I can see why The Public Kitchen is so popular. The restaurant has some indoor and outdoor seating with a mix of tables and banquets along the walls. It was comfortable without being too crowded.
