I've been wanting to try this place, everytime I pass by, because I love Pho! Read the reviews and it seemed to be a great place to eat per past visitors. Everything was as described! The place had a nice ambiance if you want to dine in, which we opted to do so. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. You were greeted upon arrival and checked on as needed until you left. (Not overbearing either, just at the right times.. must say very attentive) They made sure you were satisfied. The food was great, Pho had a great broth. The spring/egg rolls were very tasty and everything was very much satisfying. It definitely hit the spot and I will be back for sure. They separate each orders ingredients into individual containers but put some in the included bowl like the beef, noodles and jalapeños. Went to this location for the first time. Like it quite a bit more than the Annapolis location. It's cleaner, friendlier and faster. Much cleaner. Nice inside. Also the soup is better. We finally got around to trying this place for lunch, and it was definitely worth the wait. The menu is really small, which was my biggest complaint. Most Vietnamese places have a much broader menu, with many options beyond pho. It's funny because both me and my dining partner both wanted non-pho dishes that day, but I guess when the place is called "Pho 5up"... Anyway, it's a two page menu, so it's pretty short and sweet. All the pho (unless indicated) was $13 per bowl, one size fits all. You get a choice of side with it (by default, they bring you the standard "fixins" of sprouts, basil, lime and jalepeno), and there's also a good sampling of apps you can choose from. We had the egg rolls, which came out super hot and really delicious. The pho was actually one of the best bowls I've ever had! There was something really good about the broth that made it stand out over others. Not saying I've had a bad bowl anywhere, but this one... it just hit on all the right notes. You could smell the individual spices they used, and the flavor was savory and complex. It just worked on every level. I'd definitely come back if I'm just in the mood for pho. If I have a craving for other Vietnamese dishes, I'm fortunate to have a couple of other joints nearby that can satisfy those cravings. But, for pho, I'm a fan of this one. read more

My visit to Pho 5up is always pleasant, it's a place a regularly visit when I work in Crofton. First the establishment is warm and inviting and the staff are quick and friendly, there is never a long wait time and the food is always hot. I got the egg rolls which are always a great starter, they are crunchy and seasoned well. And the main attraction the pho I know everyone dresses theirs up in a different way but I like to keep it simple, sprouts, lime, and jalapeño. Amazing balance of flavors and such a filling meal. The portion size was more than enough - I also ordered the Spring rolls which were ok; I gave it 3 stars based on service. Limited selections typically depict confidence in recipes. I ordered the Green Milk Tea and Egg Rolls. Both were good. The tea had deep matcha flavor and the egg roll was crispy and good size. Best Pho in the entire area! We have tried them all since moving to AA from MCo. The broth is very flavorful with lots of the spices you expect from true Pho. Our favorite is the Tofu w Vegetables w Beef Broth or plain Noodle Soup. Also, the Brisket is great. You get one free side choice out of 5 choices. I was much impressed by Pho 5up, both by the quality of the food and packaging for pickup orders! Pho was one of those foods we really missed during this quarantine. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw that Pho 5up was open for pick up orders. My husband and I both ordered #5 (the special combo with all cuts of meat). There was fresh steak and plenty of beansprouts/ lime/ jalapenos/ mint that came on the side. The broth tasted clean and fresh and noodle was not overcooked at all. One minor thing that does not affect my reviews is that they only have one-size. It was comparable to a "medium" size elsewhere- enough for my husband, a tad bit too much for me.
