I've dined here a few times now and have zero complaints. The owner and staff are always kind and the pho is alway good. We always leave stuffed. This was my first visit to PHO 5Up. At noon on a Tuesday it was empty when we arrived. Clean, open, comfortable atmosphere with music piped in. Service was friendly and efficient. We were greated immediately when we came in and served water in cute mason jars. As our appetizer we ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls with peanut sauce. The sauce had a good sweet flavor and the rolls were tightly filled and packed full of freshness. I ordered the plain pho soup bowl and my husband ordered the chicken pho. We each recieved own generous size plate of bean sprouts, basil, peppers and a lime to add to the soup. The portion size was very good and the broth was delicious. I'm going to start with a strong 5 stars with the intent of returning and trying out different food items from the menu. However, from our first experience here, I would have to say this will be the go-to Pho restaurant in the Crofton-Bowie area. We had the regular #1 Pho and the #15 Spicy Pork and Beef Noodle Soup and both were quite good, in terms of flavor and quality of ingredients. The only minor complaint would be the portions of the noodles, but I will update on when I return to gauge better. TLDR: Vegetarian Summer Rolls were amaze-balls. Pho was okay. It feels like the air conditioning isn't on inside and on a hot day, eating hot soup--it's not the best time. The summer rolls were amazing but the soup was nothing to write home about. The broth was flavorless and needed a lot of sriracha and hoisin sauce. Ok so they served the vegetable pho with vegetable broth first. We had 4 people in our party. The 3 other pho we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes. The food came out staggered. The person we ordered with never brought out our Thai tea. I tried to wave him down completely ignored me. We had to ask the older gentleman me for our Thai tea. He treated it like a new order no you guys just forget it. We asked for extra lime 3 times. Kept being dismissed. We never got once asked if we were doing ok. Felt very rushed to finish our foods due to my Aunt being finished first and we were still eating. It wasn't our fault our foods came out different times.
