They claim to be short staffed but the servers are behind counters using their phones. Never came up to check on customers as well. Customers were going up to the counter to ask for menus. I saw some customers leave the store after waiting a long time for their food. I had to wait 45 minutes for a drink to be served and there were only 3 tables filled at that time?? Decent pho, but they put old cilantro in my soup and the taste of old cilantro went through the whole thing. Defeats the purpose of the freshness that all the herbs normally provide in a bowl of pho. I think if they'd have used fresh cilantro or at least have picked out the rotting bits before putting it in the soup, then it'd have been very good. read more

We have been wanting to try Pho 7 since they opened, but barley had the chance to today. I must say, their pho broth is pretty good! I've read a few reviews about it & i absolutely love pho and have been hoping someone would bring one closer to the area instead of going to Boise. I think I found my pho spot! We also got their shrimp fried rice, vermicelli grilled pork, and spring rolls. All were very tasty, the fried rice has a lot of flavor! The only downside is, not for me but for my kids and hubby. The mint, they're not too fond of the mint in everything they put in their food. Me, in the other hand I love the mint. So I don't know if they have the option to have mint aside for those who don't enjoy the taste or smell of it. Overall, would definitely go again and to try other dishes! read more

I would not recommend coming here for the food. It took us over 40 minutes to get our food. No update as to why it was taking so long or nothing. Ordered the bun thit nuong. The meat was pork strips and not the normal tradition pork shoulder cooked on skewers. The bun aka the noodles were overcooked and soggy. The worst bun thit nuong I've had in my life. See my photos. The boba tea was okay. I honestly recommend saving your time and money if you want authentic Vietnamese food or good food for the matter. This isn't it. After constantly being recommended about how great their Pho is, I took my family to finally try it out. Unfortunately, I would never come back or ever recommend them to anyone. The ownership apparently has changed, so this may have affected the pre-quality of the great Pho 7 which I have heard so much raving reviews about. Negative Points: - After ordering a couple things on the menu we sat down and noticed a mouse running behind the benches in the lobby where we were sitting. -Contemplated still eating there after waiting 40 minutes for 3 items and seeing the mouse constantly run around with the staff nearly acknowledging it. If there's one mouse, there's usually others. Unless it sneaked in through the front door (which does close slowly). - We still decided to eat as it was a to-go order and the rare steak Pho was pretty good. - However, the chicken in the chicken pho was barely edible as it was dry, pre-frozen, and weirdly peppered. - The portion sizes are small for the price. - One of three items were forgotten in the to-go order and they could not do a refund for the item. - The lobby was dirty. - When trying to call back multiple times the next day for a refund on the item, their phone was constantly busy and buzzing or would automatically hang up after two rings. Positive: The staff was nice and the drinks/ were delicious. The Rare steak Pho tastes great and the broth is fresh/smooth and slightly sweet. So so sad and disappointed! We used to love to come to this restaurant and would do so about 3x/ month. Since change in ownership, the place has dramatically changed. The staff is the Generation Z who do the absolute minimum. Do not greet you when you arrive. They pass you sitting in the booth 10 times without giving any eye contact. We were seated and after 15 min of staff not even acknowledging our presence, not asking if we wanted anything to drink, do not say sorry for the wait etc- we were totally invisible, we left. We heard them explaining to other customers that they were out of soda. They were out of bean sprouts. They only have a few items on the menu ... how can you be out of the basics?? The place is not clean like it used to be. The food, service and cleanliness was wonderful before and we were so disappointed yesterday and we won't be back. Every time I come there's 3 young women that are working and I'd like to recognize them because it makes the experience that much better: Alexis, Aiyana, and Lizzy! I ordered the pork vermicelli noodles and waited 30 minutes after my table mates were served until I finally went up to the counter to ask them to cancel my order. Then, miraculously my food was ready! My server, a snooty teenager, told me that they don't give refunds, and that the food took extra long to cook. "So it takes you 30 minutes to cook pork?" I was so excited to try this place and it was a complete letdown. They made us grab our own beer from the fridge, and only told us after we waited 10 minutes for it to be brought to the table. As other reviewers have stated, there are literally no noodles in the pho. We ordered extra noodles once we realized ($3 each portion) and laughed when they brought us another tiny amount. The extra noodles was maybe 2 bites. They were also really undercooked. The cherry on top was a long, black hair inside of the egg rolls. Absolutely disgusting. After being isolated one of the most homogeneous places in the United States (St. Anthonys Idaho) it was time to get some cultural flavors on. I was desperate for some Vietnamese food! The place is clean with a nice big parking lot. The restaurant is spacious, bright and clean. We were quickly seated and the drinks came out quick as well. We ordered salad rolls to start. The sauce was great with the fried gsrlic/onion but the rolls were lacking. Only shrimp, no pork and pretty pricy for what you get. Ordering was standard fair since I don't know the place so stuck to the script Pho Dac bet. Garnish came out as expected fresh herbs and beansprouts. The pho was ok, the meat was very spare and broth middle of the road. I know places like this (potato belt) struggle to please everyone so I've taken that into consideration with 4 stars. Visited for the first time. Be warned, for a party of six they added a gratuity to the total of 15%. I had no problem paying that but at the bottom of the receipt they had suggested tip amounts with a total. I very purposefully put a 0 in the tip line and the total in the total line and looked at the pending charge on my card. It was correct but then the posted charge added another 15% tip! I somehow knew this was going to be a problem as other restaurants have tried to pull this hoping people won't notice. My husband and I went here just to have a cup of tea and kill time before an appointment. Their online menu looked great but we were very disappointed. There were a bunch of young kids working there and no one really seemed to know what to do. It took almost 10 minutes to get an iced tea, and then it was sickening sweet. No one had asked us if we wanted it sweet or not, and it took 10 more minutes to get an unsweetened version. We were very disappointed and would never go here again. I've been going here for a while. Always get Chicken Pho and it's great. A couple times I've requested to sit at a table because no server seated me. I as waiting for a few minutes awkwardly while servers looked at me but never said anything. Many of their servers are new so I understand.
