Not a bad visit at Pho 78. I absolutely loved the Bahn Mi sandwich! The pork was so tender and flavorful. There was also the perfect amount of veggies and cilantro. It was a bit on the small side, but very tasty. I also tried their Pho. It wasn't the best I have ever had, but it was very good. I wish there had been a little more meat in the soup. The taro boba tea was just okay. I think there were only like 10 tapioca beads in my entire drink, and they were all stuck together. It was pretty disappointing. The taro aspect of the drink was delicious though. Tip- split the bahn mi sandwich and a medium bowl of Pho with your date. More than enough food for 2 people!! read more

Located in a not-so-nice strip mall with Bravo Supermarket and the IHOP so it's not a place that easily visible from the street. Low-budget interior with high-level food. Had the Hot & Sour Seafood Rice Noodle Soup (small $9.95) and it was perfectly spicy, had the right mix of seafood, plenty of rice noodles and was very filling. Before it's served, the server will put down a plate of raw bean sprouts and greens. It is not a salad! You add those ingredients into the soup when you receive it. Soup came out quick, it was delicious and the atmosphere was extremely casual. Will come back here again to try another soup. read more

Fell in love with a soup. Fell in love once and almost completely. Pho 78 was my first official encounter with Vietnamese food. Being an almost rabid Anthony Bourdain fan, every time I saw him running his mouth and going on and on about Pho in Hanoi, I had to have it. My girl and I dove right into this casual and bright place, and were seated right away. Again, we were comforted by the fact that the majority of customers were Asian (I can assume Vietnamese). We ordered the Egg Rolls to start, I ordered a medium bowl of Pho with brisket (Chin) and my fiancee ordered the Vietnamese pork sausage Bahn Mi. The order came out lightning fast. The medium bowl of Pho was huge, the Bahn Mi was nice and tasty and the egg rolls were great (but a little overpriced for what you get). The Pho was so delicious that my fiancee set the Bahn Mi aside and ordered a small bowl of it. This broth, was magical. The thinly sliced brisket had just the right amount of fat, and it was so tender it almost melted in your mouth and the flavors only got better over time. I am in love. We closed the meal with a passion fruit boba tea and proceeded to drive home in a stupor of happiness. We are now in a food coma, and I can't wait to head back. read more

I get this delivered every Wednesday for the last 4 weeks when I'm doing online classes so I've never physically been there. I always get the Pho Round Eye Steak and I love it. The meat is thinly sliced and come Los raw when To-go but once you heat up the broth and put the steak in there it cooks instantly. The Pho definitely fills you up and it has a lot of flavor to it. I bought a fried chili paste because I personally like it spicy. I've come across a lot of Pho restaurants but this one is definitely my top favorites. read more

This is a no frills, no nonsense Vietnamese gem! So far, my favorite place for Pho. The broth is very flavorful and so are the noodles The are some people who are put off by the different cuts of meat included in the "house special" combination Pho, beef tendon isn't for everyone... Just take a look at the name and description of the different beef cuts before you order. The staff is very friendly and unlike the other Pho joint I frequent, there is more than one person working the tables so you'll get your food quickly. Prices are very reasonable, they offer small, medium and large bowls of Pho as opposed to the "one bowl fits all" method other places stick to. The restaurant is in a strip mall so it's easy to pass by without seeing keep your eyes open. Sadly, no beer or wifi. Like I said earlier, no frills but great food. read more

My mom and I love this place! I really like how you can basically customize the pho to your liking. You can choose the meats you want, the kind of noodles and the prices are very reasonable. I've been here twice now. First I got a small Pho Dat Biet and my fiancé got a large Bun Bo Hue. The pho broth was perfect and for a restaurant, his bun bo Hue was pretty good. On our second trip, we both ordered Pho Dat Biet. The broth was very bland and it was overwhelming with a ton of meet and noodles. I order pho because I enjoy the broth and it tasted like hot water. Such a waste. The bathroom was extremely dirty and the restaurant is very old and run down. Such a shame. The owner/waiter is so sweet. He's very accommodating but when the food is inconsistent we likely won't be returning. read more

The place has been here for a while but under new owner recently and menu has been updated with some new dishes. It's been a while since I had a dish that made me sweat. They have some kickass chili sauce (aside from the standard sriracha) and I'm fairly certain they import jalapenos from the sun. Anyway, Pho 78 has made a fan out of me. Vietnamese is hit or miss in Fort Lauderdale, and this is a hit. Great value for the Pho, I had a medium bowl of the house special, which was every beef cut they had and it was definitely enough for 2 meals and only $8. All of the beef cuts were ultra tender so you could easily pull them apart. Only meh bit was the meatballs - they were very tough but still had good flavor. The banh mi with grilled pork was delicious - super tender, flavorful pork with a delicious charcoal flavor and the bun was super crispy and fresh. I wish I could have tried more, as their menu has quite a few tasty options, but that just means I'll have to come back. The staff was very friendly and attentive, I went for weekday lunch and it wasn't crowded but not dead either. Simply furnished with bits of Vietnamese art and such, not gaudy like many asian places. read more

I came here for the first time and took my pho to go. I had vegetable pho with a beef base (there was no meat in my food). It came with a free spring roll that usually comes with tofu but I didn't want tofu so they kindly left it out of the roll for me. My food was ready in 5 minutes and the gentleman taking my order was so nice. He went through the menu with me as if it was no trouble at all. I don't usually tip when I do take out but I had to leave a tip here. They were too sweet. When I got home my food was amazing! The taste of pho depends on what ingredients you put in it, and they put everything you could want on the side, all the way down to the lime and hot sauce. This place is a gem of traditional when is comes to Pho. The smells of basil, sage and five spice permeate through the small store front eatery. The food was 5 stars and prices for Pho 5 stars. I admit when I ordered the pork on a stick for almost 7 dollars I was surprised to only get 2 pieces but the quality was good. If your looking for authenticity this is the spot to be. The portions are huge for Pho. I didnt finish my medium bowl and had to take it home. I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee which is tar to the gut good. If you want a strong sweet treat, order it! Service is why I give 4 stars. The gentleman was nice but not very informative when we asked questions about the menu. Also having been someone who has never had Vietnamese coffee he didnt give much insight on how to drink it with contraption containing it. I can say it may have been a language barrier. i order from Pho 75 on uber eats pretty often. It's so fresh and delicious!!!! I usually get the vermicelli noodles (bun) with the grilled chicken. The chicken is juicy and covered in a great sauce. I mix up the raw veggies with the noodles and it's a cool refreshing lunch. I also love the shrimp wraps and egg roll. You can tell everything is homemade. I'll order again and again. We come to this restaurant quite a bit. It was our go to place late at night or when I don't feel like cooking and we needed some quick bites. We were always happy with the food we got. However, last time we went around 9pm (closes at 10pm) the bean sprouts for the pho was old and so was jalapeño... hmmmm... we may give them a shot again but hope the quality of the food is better next time:) read more
