VS3. Vietnamese Sandwich with Shrimp, Beef flank, and chicken
    Rafael D.

I ordered the Vietnamese sandwich combination meat along with some spring rolls, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The ambience has a calming, oriental vibe, and the customer service was genuinely friendly. A great spot for a quick lunch or dinner--especially if you're just passing through Grand Junction, CO

We came in on a Sunday night and could immediately tell that they were busy when we were seated. We just missed the dinner rush and multiple tables weren't cleaned yet. They had an extensive menu but decided on a pho and pork chop rice dish. The food took a while to be served, as they had multiple DoorDash orders as well. The steak, brisket and meatball pho had lots of flavor. They cut the meatball(s) in small pieces though, not sure if it was just 1 meatball or 2 in an order. The grilled pork chop was solid. However, the side salad didn't have any dressing and the pickled daikon and carrots were dry and didn't taste pickled.

Service was EXCELLENT! Roadtrip day 2 dinner got us craving pho so this was a great fit. I was a little hesitant after reading reviews, but this is a solid pho place. We ordered beef spring rolls, which i thought the beef was a little hard to bite through without tearing apart the roll. The pho hit the spot. Decent flavor. Noodles were basic.. I'm guessing pre-made. Plenty of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeños . I had the Vietnamese coffee. It was good although i prefer Thai coffee. The place was clean. Our male server was truly the highlight of the night. So friendly and accommodating. Happy to have happened across this place when going across the country.

P4. Rare Steak, Brisket and Meatball Noodles Soup minus the meatball. Mango smoothie

The food was pretty normal as pho goes. I got the brisket and rare steak pho medium. It was more than enough to fill and satisfy me. I also got a Mango Smoothie and it was pretty bomb, one of the better mango smoothies I have had. Would recommend for a nice lunch as it was brought out pretty quickly.

So far this is the best restaurant we have found in Grand Junction. We love pho, so that's all we have ordered and it is always spot on.

Food was good but wasn't worth the price. They charged $4 for a tea plate of walmart crinkle cut fries. Not impressed and won't go back.

Quick rating: Interior Space & Design: they really spent the effort giving this place a modern clean appeal, everything was glistening and bright. Service: servers were quick to take order Menu: on an island like Grand Junction, to have so much variety is shocking, they have Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese the whole shabang! Food: ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, enjoyed it, but wish it had less peanuts, no water chestnuts, no carrots, and would just stick to scallions, red dry chilli peppers and Chinese Worcestershire sauce. Ordered the hot and sour soup, Amen, had a tough week, caught a cold, and coming into town for several hours of layover, this soup really does the trick. Ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls, on there I'm going to give 'em a 3/5 stars because the soy wrap was a bit too hard to chew. Ordered the Mongolian Beef a little on the saltier side, give it a 3.5/5, still enjoyed it with some rice, I was hungry. So, overall score 4/5; is it worth stopping by if you are in town? A definite yes, with all the variety, you have a one stop shop to select the Asian dish that you've been craving for that week.

It looks creative in a way that they combine two different cuisines and cultures (Vietnamese and Japanese to say it exact) and yet what they came up with is nothing but a tourist trap place that lacks authenticity. It's on the second floor of a building. The restaurant is clean and spacious with ample tables and chairs. Since we were there well outside of the busy lunch hour, we got the employees' undue attention. And they were quite welcoming and friendly. The food? Meh. Everything we got lacked the true authenticity. -Lunch Nigiri: The four nigiris simply didn't look fresh. Fortunately however, they didn't taste bad. And yet the overall quality was mediocre at best. This combo plate came with a salad and a soup (called Japanese soup). The salad was the worst out of all where it looked and tasted old and stale. And the soup? It wasn't a miso soup. It's a clear broth soup. But my question was, "What's Japanese about it anyway?" -Agedashi tofu: They really need to work on the "presentation" more. This skimpy looking dish simply didn't look good. It surprisingly didn't taste bad but it failed to impress us. Another mediocre dish. -Thai tea with boba: My daughter didn't care for it at all. I took a sip of it. It tasted a bit too bitter where the tea appeared to have been over-brewed. Yikes! The three stars might be a bit too much of an inflated assessment. And yet I appreciated the friendliness of the employees so 1 additional star is the manifestation of my sincere gratitude to them.

Ming's looked promising as they had Chinese, Thai and Japanese food. So many options. We were probably the first customer of the day but glad to see more people pouring in as the day went on. Not sure what they specialize in, we got a chicken satay for app, a spicy tuna crunch roll and a sizzling beef with scallops entrée to share. The sushi tasted good but the presentation was a little lack luster - usually you can tell their sushi skills by the way their sushi roll is cut... not going to be super critical as we're in Glenwood Springs, I'm sure the talent is harder to get here. The satay chicken also had great flavor but was a little bit overcooked. The sizzling beef plate was as delicious as it was appealing... I think maybe their strong suit is their Chinese food. There wasn't as much protein as I'd like for a plate (scallops and beef) but the veggie were plentiful. The portion size was great for the satay and the entrée and the sushi seemed slightly skinnier than what I'm used to in town. All in all the service was great, food tasty and restaurant was very clean. Food came out pretty fast too after ordering so I'd highly recommend if you're craving Chinese food to give Ming's a try.
