Came here for the first time to try this place out since they had great reviews. Didn't have a good first time experience as the owner wasn't very friendly and he seemed rushed and annoyed. They are a small building so they squeezed in like 8 tables in there so you're cramped in there. We expected it to be like a sit down restaurant experience but you have to order and pay up front so make sure you are ready to order when you get up to the counter. I saw on Yelp there was a roasted chicken and rice dish so I asked for it and he said no more so than I was lost with what I wanted. He suggested another dish that was "similar" to it. Let me just say I will never take his suggestion again cause it was nothing like the dish I wanted. The dish I got was a plate of rice that was drenched with salty sauce that I couldn't even eat. The egg rolls were okay but nothing to rave about. The pork banh mi sandwich was okay but not like the ones from OC. They also were out of smoothies so we couldn't try anything we came in for. On a whim I just ordered the vermicelli bowl with grilled beef -- it's outstanding. Dare I say the best I've ever had? It even tastes excellent without the fish sauce (also very tasty), which is a plus. Good portion, good price, good healthy, what more could you ask for? This place used to be a five star establishment. It was so good and consistent we would come once a week if not more. After we heard there were gonna be new owners we were scared the quality was gonna go down. Super bummed that's exactly what happened. Hair was found in our soup this time and last time. The broth is super oily now. Also the last few times the noodles have been super broken. Now sure if they are old or something. Honestly just bummed. We used to come here all the time but now it's not even worth the price anymore. Pho Amor used to be my favorite Pho place but after tonight I won't be going back. I'm so bummed I called to order ahead like I normally do. I ordered 2 steamed chicken pho ga, one with no garnish (onion,cilantro) and extra lemon. Neither requests were done but that's ok I understand I know they were busy. But the kicker was the portion size and broth. The broth was so greasy and did not taste good at all. I had to wipe my mouth after each bite it was so greasy. They used to give out so much chicken and noodles I had enough for 2 meals but this there was barely 5 little pieces of chicken. Small mom and pop shop. Loved their food. They were also very quick with our order. I ordered the spring rolls and the pan fried noodles. I use to get my pan fried noodles at this other Vietnamese restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga when I lived there but these noodles were 10 times better. The sauce was a bit on the sweeter side but I was fine with that. They gave a good portion of meat and veggies. I will definitely come back and try some other dishes. They also do some catering. I'll definitely consider order catering one day if I host a party. The spring rolls were delicious and would definitely work as an appetizer if you're hosting anything. It's our Togo to for pho our family always drives there even though we have closer ones by our house hasn't disappointed yet and I doubt it will. Extremely glad and grateful I was able to find and try this family-owned restaurant. From the very first sip of the broth, I could almost immediately note the unique flavor that distinguishes this restaurant from other Pho restaurants. The broth had such a nice aroma and an outstanding flavor profile. Another aspect to note about the bowl of Pho was the meat toppings. The filet mignon was absolutely succulent in each bite as it had perfectly absorbed the broth in. The family that runs this business is super friendly. Let me defend myself before I start, I was brought here because my mom wanted phō with it being cold. Okay, I swear by my regular phō place because it always hits the spot and I've never had any complaints about the food, but As this was closer to us and she said it was good.. Maybe I should've tried something new other than what I usually order at my spot so that I was not as disappointed in my food. So I ordered their P3 deal that let's you choose the meat in the soup. They had flank, filet mignon, shrimp, and chicken. I chose the flank. Also want to add that we ordered 2 spring rolls. Here's the outcome: the spring rolls were more lettuce than anything. They were not wrapped tight enough and after the first bite, they started to come undone. Guess this made it easier to pick out allllllll the lettuce. Few moments later I get my soup ( my moms came out a little after), and A+ for presentation but the quality of the soup itself was a low C. The noodles were way over done, and my soup had way too much meat for my liking. Another side note, the meat itself had a lot of fat. Some people don't mind that, but I'm weird about food textures so that was not my Jam. After I pouring the whole bottle of siracha sauce in the bowl, the broth wasn't bad. Just not a fan of the condiments inside. Can't say I would recommend. Maybe if it's the last place to get some late night grub. I would not recommend anyone with a party of 4 or more coming. Would give this restaurant 5 stars for the flavor, quality, and cleanliness. Gave 4 stars this time because they could use some additional customizable options. For example, I wanted a bowl of pho with just tendon and brisket. But that combo wasn't an option. So I ordered a side of brisket (which was delicious) for $6.99. The side order portion was kind of small considering the price. However, the prices of beef are higher than ever. So it may not be as expensive as it sounds. All in all, I will be back! Came here on ratings alone, what a disappointment we didn't even finish the food. Ordered what I thought was a chicken Pho. First of all overpriced $12.95 for the portion. Bowl came to me and at first glance thought what is this? Why, you might ask. The broth was greenish yellowish not clear like your traditional Pho should be. I proceeded to taste it and it was disgusting. Tasted like powdered chicken bouillon. I asked the lady if this was the Pho I ordered because it tasted like powdered chicken bouillon, she got upset and said it's what I ordered and everyone makes it different. I've had my fair share of Vietnamese food and Pho to know clear broth and spices in the soup when I taste it. This my friend was no where near Pho. This is so misleading. For those of you who use powder chicken bouillon, you know the taste and color it gives when you use it. You have to order your food at the counter and they bring it to you. Two Bowls of Pho came to $30. I wouldn't have minded if it was good, Pho Ga' had hardly any Chicken. We didn't order any drinks. When they brought the Pho to the table you would think they would ask if you at least would like some water. No customer service at all. You can eat Vietnamese food at a lot of other Restaurants where they will properly wait on you, and less expensive. Norco is definitely not a center for Asian culture or cuisine. But with the addition of a third Vietnamese juice and sandwich shop, we may finally have our own little Mecca in the IE for Vietnamese goodies. This newly opened little café is located not far from the Stater Bros Market on Hamner. First came the eggrolls. Four big ones stuffed with a pork filling that was to die for. A platter of crisp romaine lettuce to wrap around those crispy teasers along with cilantro, grated carrot, radish, an entire mint plant, plus two dipping sauces (one sweet & spicy, the other the traditional sweet with fish sauce). First bite, true love. I demand a repeat performance! Secondly, I can't believe the beef sandwich, better known as bahn mi, was listed as an appetizer! Starting with tender bread freshly made, then loaded with a slightly sweet, magnificently marinated thinly sliced beef, bedded down with all the beautiful veggies (bean sprouts, cucumber, cilantro, shredded carrot and mild radish), the juices soaked into the bread and had me salivating with each bite. I LOVED this and it was reasonably priced at $4.25. Thirdly, a stir fry dish made with filet mignon chunks and seared bell peppers. It arrived with a mound of white rice. Beautiful to look at, and the beef tender, this of our three foods was the least exciting. In comparison, the portions of meat were fairly equal to their sandwich which was far better and only a third of the price. On a subsequent visit, we came home with a generous container of pho and all the accoutrements that defied description. The broth was extraordinarily good. The beef was the same as that in the bahn mi, and I could not be happier. Elsewhere, I usually end up not finishing the broth because there is so much. This time, I could not get enough, even bypassed the noodles so there would be enough room in my tummy. Can't wait for winter soup season! Lets not forget the lettuce wraps. Also considered an appetizer, they are the best thing since sliced bread, but carb free. The ground chicken filling was so flavorful, I will find myself hyperventilating if I pass these by next visit. They also make quite a nice variety of coffees, blended fruit drinks and fruit teas. They have Thai iced tea, Vietnamese coffee, smoothies made with fresh fruits and ice cream, and slushies. The best thing for me was, since they use fresh fruits (for example, the blended green apple drink has real green apple), that means they can control the sugar content. For me, less is better. I ordered a low sugar mango/passion fruit/orange juice slushy. It was perfect. While not the least expensive meal I have ever had because of the filet mignon dish, Pho Amore has definitely caught my attention. I can see myself becoming a loyal customer for the sandwiches and pho alone, but the welcoming atmosphere is a definite plus. Highly recommended. read more

So so good! I don't usually prefer pho but my roommate brought some home tonight from here and it was really delicious! I had the grilled chicken pho, and it was perfect. I don't like the smell of pho but this one didn't have a strong smell. The portion was perfect, not too small not too big. The broth was perfectly flavored with slight hint of spice. The pho is ok but the customer service is bad. First time I came the cashier was very rude, but this second time I came in at 10:05am and they opened at 10am. The sign was turned to "open" and the lady inside saw me at the door but ignored me. She did the same to someone else that tried to signal to her. I would understand if she needed some more prep time but acknowledgement or explanation would be perfect instead of blatant ignorance. read more
