For the hungry Viet girl, Pho Long is a solid choice for pho on a cold and rainy day when you don't feel like driving to Pho Bac. Unlike many pho places in the DFW, Pho Long has a solid vegetarian friendly menu WITH pho. Yes you heard right folks, VEGAN PHO. They are one of four places that I know of that serve vegan pho in the area. Luckily they also happen to be the best place. High points include the use of vegetables and tofu as the "filler" rather than packaged seitan and vegan ham. If you're a lover of the faux meats, Pho Palace ( Arlington ) and D'Vegan ( Garland ) are better choices. As for the rest of the menu, I will be back to give it a thorough tasting. I've been trying to find the best bun bo hue and hit up Pho Tay Do and the newly opened Duc Chuong before coming to Pho Long. 3rd time was a charm because Pho Long hit it out of the park. So this place has flavor in their food. But they make it to where the medium is more like a large, to where you are wanting more meat and noodles to even out all the broth that is your Pho. They give you too little sprouts and one sliced lime. If you want all the extras to even out your meal it will cost you. And it feels as if you are not Vietnamese you get shit for service. Has they get special things that are not on the menu. So gave this place a second chance and it still gets . This place makes me never want to cheat on my usual Pho place again read more

Love it! The staff there is really kind! I got bun cha gio which came with vermicelli noodles, egg rolls, veggies and yummy fish sauce! Additionally, they had boba, meaning I dont have to travel to another place to get my fix! I came here with my brothers and they enjoyed the food too! So good!! Love the grilled pork chop with the rice and egg. I had that last week. Today I tried a different variation of the grilled pork and it came with an egg roll. Again, SO GOOD!! The staff was incredibly friendly and because I had ordered so much (7 to-go orders) they carried the bags to my car so I didn't have to make two trips or juggle everything. Good Pho and other dishes. Seems to struggle with keeping the place adequately staffed. Today the poor girl was literally running from table to table during the lunch hour. Also, they keep a salt water aquarium, with insufficient lighting for their choice of live corals - has nothing to do either the food or service, but the the marine aquarist in me has to point that out. read more

I've been here a couple of times now and got different dishes. The most recent order was Bun Bo Hue (Spicy beef noodles) and it was amazing! Whenever the server/host was taking my order; he asked if I wanted it spicy which I thought was strange because I thought it was normally spicy. And I love spicy! I ordered it super spicy and they deliver. Super flavorful and they packed everything in my takeout bag. I asked for sate and he already got it packed in the bag My boyfriend is very picky with Vietnamese food and always get Com Bo Luc Lac (Shaken Beef) and most places I feel cheap out on the meat and give very little. This is now his favorite place for Com Bo Luc Lac. I'm excited to try to Bun rieu next ! read more

The pho here was ok. We just dropped in for a quick lunch. Indeed, we got our food quickly, but when it was time to pay, they informed us that their credit card machine was broken and that we needed to "go to an ATM"! They refused to call In the credit card and our "quick lunch" turned into a trip to the bank to get cash to pay for this lunch. It would have been helpful if they had told us the machine was broken BEFORE we ordered. The wait staff were not helpful at all. I will not return here pho long. read more

I really wanted this to be good after a bad experience when this place was Got Pho. In all fairness, I didn't eat the soup that everyone is raving about - I probably should have. I did take out so I couldn't tell them how bad the spring rolls were. The shrimp smelled really bad and was kind of snotty - bad shrimp. I never waste food and took one bite of the spring roll and threw it away along with the other 3 I bought. The up side was the place was much cleaner than Got Pho was - and the staff was really nice. So sorry my first experience was not good as I love Vietnamese food and really wanted to support a small local business. If everyone else likes the Pho - again, that must be good, but until the shrimp is fresh - I can't do it. No offense. read more

This is the place for you if you want to try some authentic vietnamese "Bun bo hue". I have tried several places but alway come back to this place. What make the bbh in here so special is due to the flavors of the broth. it is as close as i can remember to the taste of the bbh in VietNam. You can either get the spicy or non spicy version here(ask the server it is not in the menu). Also the portion come in with plenty of meat, you will get a slice of pork leg bone which is cooked to the right degree...not too soft or hard on the meat but enough to keep the elastic texture of the pork skin. Pork paste like the pork version of fish cake, and plenty of beef slices. If you are familiar with bbh, they offer pork blood cooked here too but just ask to exlcude it if you do not like it. This place is not crowed, i rarely see more than 10 people in the place but do not let this discourage you. Just go for the bbh when you come here....do not other pho or other dishes as it might not as good as other places. read more
