Restaurant was half full. The menu was extensive. Food was okay. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps. The chicken was kind of dry and overall it was meh.

I think like a solid 3.5 stars? The menu is huge and there's lots of parking, but with so many options for Vietnamese food in Sacramento, this falls short for me. I got chicken pho (not eating red meat right now) and it was fine- nothing groundbreaking. Some good pieces of chicken, some dry, decent broth. Price was steep for a small bowl. My friend got a duck noodle soup and the duck was quite tough and chewy. Vietnamese coffee was solid! Service was just ok, not the most attentive and they took forever to take our payment. It's a big restaurant and the music is louuuuuud.

Haven't been to this place in over a decade since there are so many pho and Vietnamese choices in Sac. The food was absolutely delicious. It's even better than when I remembered it. I got a banh cuon plate and it was def a 5/5 We also got a seafood hu tieu noodles (dry version) and it was a 5/5 also. The service was fast. The vibe was nice also. They got a huge dragon design on the roof. I'll be going to this spot more often now.

An outstanding Vietnamese restaurant! We were looking for another Vietnamese restaurant for dinner, spotted this one, and decided to try it. Even though it was a rainy night, this place was packed with diners. A promising sign. Despite the crowd, we got fast service, delicious food, and a reasonable bill. The noise level was moderate, parking was good, and the decor was attractive, using lots of wood. I tried the flank, brisket, and tendon Pho, the pork vermicelli bowl, and the spring rolls. A+!! We've been to many Pho restaurants over the years. This one lands at the top of the list. Too bad it isn't in Henderson, NV!

Absolutely delicious!! This is my second time coming here and I'm always so happy with how the food tastes, the portion, the price, and the atmosphere! On a really busy day, it's bustling but the staff still seem so joyful. Also plenty of parking around the restaurant! It's situated right next to K1 Speed Racing, so this is a perfect place to stop by right after some fun! I haven't had a chance to try their pho yet but I'm definitely interested (looking at that pho challenge ).

I am a regular customer and have been for more than 25 years! This week I'm more regular than normal than my second visit in 3 days! There are lots of Vietnamese, restaurants and another one in the area that has insane reviews, but this one is better and always has been. I absolutely love their Pho, Bun and stirfry! I think my very favorite thing to eat here with friend is the roll your own fresh rice paper rolls. It's like an activity and a meal in one. Veggies are always fresh services always fast. They have a full bar and the food has been consistently awesome for 25 years. I highly highly recommend.!

Okay, so I tried this place because I was sick as hell and *desperately* needed some pho -- and honestly, I'm glad I did. **Ambiance:** Suuuuper cute. The space felt really warm and welcoming. I loved the Chinese New Year décor inside and the Christmas decorations outside -- it genuinely felt like they were catering to everyone, which was a nice touch. **Staff/Service:** The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. They made solid recommendations and got my order out way faster than I expected, especially for a comfort-food kind of spot. **Food:** I ordered the beef stew pho. The meat was fantastic -- super tender -- and everything tasted really fresh. The broth was a little bland on its own, but honestly, with a little garlic from home, it turned into a really comforting and satisfying meal. Overall, definitely worth a return visit, especially when you're craving something warm and cozy.

4/5/2026 - I've always liked this restaurant. They know us now. Lol We come here a lot. Most of the foods we eat are good, staff nice, bathroom clean, plenty of parking when we arrived. No complaints.

I really like that you can get a smaller appetizer here. Makes it so you can sample more if you're by yourself or on a date. The pho itself was tasty. It was a clean broth although it was a little greasy imo. Service was quick and easy! It's open a little later than other spots! This place also has a full bar with is different and kinda cool!

The best pho at its price point in my opinion. Combined with the great service time, kind waiters, cozy & clean atmosphere, and consistent food quality, my girlfriend and I find ourselves coming back to this place every time we're craving Vietnamese food. The only time my pho wasn't consistent was about an hour before closing time; my noodles were still cooked perfectly, but their length wasn't as long as they usually are & stay stuck together. I would also say they're busier around standard dinner times but they don't make you wait long. If they do, the front of the store claims to give you free egg rolls if you wait longer than 20 minutes. For what it's worth, this is my comfort Viet place; their pho is great value and their spring rolls are huge.

We chose this pho restaurant for a late breakfast/early lunch today. We started with 3 pieces of egg rolls and the Spicy Basil Mussels as appetizers. I ordered the #16 Pho Combination Special. My wife had the #59 Charbroiled Pork, and my daughter ordered the #60 Charbroiled Pork, Shredded Pork Skin & Steamed Egg Pork Patty over Rice. The rice dishes came with pho broth and fish sauce on the side, and the portions were generous. The pork was slightly on the dry side, but there was no unpleasant pork smell. Overall, the flavors were decent but nothing particularly special. The fish sauce here was milder compared to other places, and the overall seasoning was lighter as well. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Spicy Basil Mussels -- they were the most flavorful dish we had today. The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well organized. By around noon, the place was already about 80% full, so it seems like a popular neighborhood spot. It was nice to enjoy a warm meal thanks to the weather. Overall, I would rate it 3.5 out of 5. Not bad, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

Tried out this place because it's a favorite of our families. The salt and pepper calamari and salt and pepper short ribs are delicious! 10/10 would recommend getting those dishes. I've tried them at other vietnamese chinese restaurants and they do not compare at all to the ones here. The flavour is so pronounced in the best way. We also tried the combination chow fun. The noodles were but i felt like it was lacking a little flavour. We also tried the pho with rare beef and meatballs. We liked how thin the beef was and thought the meatballs were delicious. The flavor of the broth was good, but I've definitely had better tasting pho broth. Nothing bad about the flavor, it was just mid. Our group also tried the BBQ pork fried rice and the bahn mi and thought they were good. our food came out relatively quickly and the service would good. our server was friendly and quick to get something when we needed it. Overall this place is great and we will definitely come back!

Decided to come to Pho Bac Hoa Viet (PBHV) to introduce the SO's mom (who is in her 80s!!!) to pho for the first time. I think it was a success! Located in its own shady spot nearby the K1 Speed, PBHV firstly intrigued me with its extensive menu. I wanted to find a pho spot that also did some sort of diy wrap or banh xeo, plus offered che. It was a no brainer then that we would come here for all three (bingo!)! The inside is nicely decorated - lots of dark wood, natural light, and surrounding foliage during our visit on this sunny day. We were quickly seated in a booth and offered waters by one of the aunties wearing a "Pho Real" t-shirt. We ended up ordering: Grilled pork spring rolls - These were a bit loosely wrapped, but tasty. Rare steak + fatty brisket pho - The SO liked it but said it wasn't better than the pho place we frequent in Modesto. Chicken pho - Since it was the in-law's first time with pho, we went with something basic. She seemed to really enjoy the Thai basil accompaniment the most. In the end, I think she liked it, but not as much as she likes ramen (also a recent new food for her!) Banh xeo - This was HUGE, crispy, and filled with lots of goodies. I was surprised at how juicy the pork in the filling was. Super refreshing and I ate the whole thing lol Avocado smoothie - Both the SO and his mom inhaled theirs before the meal ended. Che ba mau (3 colors drink) - Good! Wished they topped off the cup a bit more. Our total came to a little over $83 before tip, which is a bit pricey (avg. $11 each item we ordered). Definitely a must-return spot for me. There's just so much on the menu I want to try.

The egg itself didn't have very strong taste so it was very pleasant. The spicy sauce was mild for me but the overall dish was good. - C1 Old Gui Lin Boba Milk Tea (less sugar): good and milky.
