From the moment we arrived we were greeted kindly and sat immediately. The waiter explained the menus including the all you can eat, which we picked for dinner. Yes there is a $5.99 additional cost for AYCE dinner but our waiter made sure to let us know ahead of time. They also explained the guidelines to the AYCE. We had the regular AYCE, got some appetizers, soup, sushi, sushi tacos! Everything tasted fresh and the service was very quick. If you choose the AYCE they will leave a tablet with a menu that includes pictures, this way you can order whenever you're ready. If you need a waiter you can click a button (this is nice because you don't have the awkward food in your mouth check in;). You will be charged extra for the food you can't finish but you can take it home if you want to. Fantastic sushi spot in Silverthorne! We stopped in for dinner since it was near our hotel and are glad we did. The service and sushi were outstanding! We had the seaweed salad, Sexy Ladies Roll, Chubby Roll, and Baked Scallop Roll and they were all very good - the Sexy Ladies Roll was probably my favorite. They were busy from the moment we walked in and I can see why. The decor is very chic (totally different vibe inside and outside). The only downside is that there is no AC (which is normal for the mountains), and so it gets a little toasty in the summer. This is definitely worth trying out if you are craving sushi! read more

Went again to try their all you can eat sushi at around 3:00pm got charged a "dinner fee" for lunch time, when before they said dinner fee was after 6:00pm. Don't get me wrong the sushi and food are good yes, but they're running a sketchy business with these hidden fees they throw out without even saying anything before hand.... For one person I was charged around $70 There's a better place up the street that's cheaper just as good and doesn't have these hidden fees. read more

The takeout is packaged nicely. I had spicy miso ramen. It took the chill off on a cold night. However there was nothing special about the dish. This is a cute ramen and sushi place. Both my kids enjoyed their chicken and tonkatsu ramen. I ordered nigiri (uni, yellowtail and salmon) and the chubby roll with my husband. They all tasted very good, but half way through I had a stomach ache and stopped eating. I think it was due to the bubble tea that I ordered (maybe they use real milk vs creamer). The vibe is excellent in this restaurant. Clean tables, fun and also beautiful decor, eclectic menu with signature sushi rolls, and a youthfulness that adds vibrancy and energy to the place. Unfortunately, it wasn't packed, which is somewhat of a red flag when it comes to restaurants, but that's was okay, we were open to being the first to discover a great new spot. The servers were friendly and cleared a booth for us. The cloth to wipe down smelled a bit old which made the table stink a bit. Eek. We ordered some sushi, ramen, tempura, gyoza, and edamame. The kids got Thai tea with boba for drinks. Food came out pretty quickly, which was a surprise. Overall, it was okay. Nothing really to complain about except the texture of the boba was entirely way too soft to the point of just drinking slime. It wasn't great, we likely will never return because we weren't impressed by anything really. The tempura was way too heavily battered but still tasted okay. The sushi also tasted fine, but nothing that wowed us. And the ramen lacked depth of flavor--one piece of pork was all fat and no meat--plus the kimchi ramen was an odd flavor combo with the tonkotsu broth. Honestly nothing to really fault or was bad--we didn't have to return anything besides a mix up of a bowl of miso ramen vs kimchi ramen--it just wasn't that delicious. They've got some kinks to work out. I think the foundation for things is there. It may need some time or revamping for some dishes, but overall, if you're absolutely craving Japanese and need something close or convenient, you could do a lot worse than here. We placed an order for pickup on your website and were told it would be ready at 6:15. However, when we arrived, it turned out our order hadn't even been seen or started yet. We asked several times and ended up waiting more than an hour before it was ready. There were many other customers waiting for pickups as well. I understand that everyone in the restaurant is extremely busy, but my suggestion is this -- if you're unable to handle more orders, please stop accepting them. We were staying at the Hampton Inn and saw this new restaurant so we walked over. The place was packed at 4:45 on Thursday night. It took a while to order but the food came out super fast and all at once.lol! We tried a little of everything and it was all good but the best was the Sexy Lady roll. The only criticism we have is some of the food could be hotter, especially the ramen broth. The owners are Chinese and there were lots of Chinese diners. Would not recommend the sushi here. Stopped by looking for a departure from sandwiches and burgers. Had a sushi lunch special with an anemic salmon roll with the salmon being the size of a McDonald's French fry in diameter and the surrounding rice and nori squished around it. The spicy tuna roll on the other hand was about twice as large in diameter stuffed with an orange mush of ?tuna scrapings and spicy sauce. I can usually put down sushi like there's no tomorrow, but we left the table with one untouched. The One roll which should have been a specialty judging by the name, was also not good. The tempura batter was so thick and tough that its texture was that of 2 tortilla chips stacked together. The inside shrimp was probably half the diameter of the salmon in the salmon roll. Definitely not worth the price. Again, recommend staying away from the sushi here. Service and ambiance were just meh. read more

Great little restaurant. I stopped in for a solo lunch and was promptly greeted and seated at the bar. I ordered a Sapporo, pork gyoza appetizer, and FSY roll. The beer and gyoza were great, beer was cold and the gyoza were piping hot. The FSY roll had fresh fish but it wasn't my favorite roll - not sure what it was about it but I'd try something else next. It certainly wasn't bad but didn't leave me craving it. The chef behind the counter gave me a complementary salmon and crab bite with a ponzu sauce before the roll came out. That was a delicious bite. I will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu. Note that the rolls are pretty shrimp and crab heavy, if you're like me who doesn't like the texture of shrimp. read more
