We got take-out from Pho Bay during our visit to Silverthorne last month. I'd heard good things about this place from my coworkers but had never stopped in. We got two chicken bowls that were similar to each other. Both tasted good, had a lot of meat, and reheated well (we got 4 meals from the 2 dishes). Don't be deterred by the fact this pho stop is imbedded in a roadside hotel. Husband and I ordered Pho with filet mignon, brisket and rare steak, all were pretty good, but the brisket was the best. For a Pho shop nestled into a mountain town, we walked away super satisfied after a long day in the cold. We'll be back. read more

Oh heck no!!! First off when we got in there completely forgot about us and like 20 minutes later he finally came. And it was not like the here were many people it was us and 2 other groups. We finally ordered and then a couple came in. The man took off his shoes and put his large socks on the table I was appalled. The food arrived and it was barley edible. There was fat in the combination platter and there was a hair in the soup. I had to get out of the horrifying place as fast as I possibly could. If I had the chance I would give this place 0 stars. What an easy place to grab a quick and nutritious and tasty meal. I wandered in one day while my guys were on the slopes and had a great small bowl of Pho. Small was really a medium size - so be careful when ordering - the bowls are big. The Pho broth was great. The plate of adds was just perfect. Food is ok. What really is terrible is their service they provide. Visited with my wife and they forgot about our food order , after one hour we walked out and they did not even noticed we never got our food. Then we decided they give a second chance and an older gentleman who works there , seems very against his will to serve people , we walked in asked for a table and no greeting, no welcome he threw the menus into a table and just pointed the table. Great flavors and presentation (even though we got ours to go). Note to self: don't order buffalo wings from a pho restaurant. They were very forgettable and not worth the calories. What a surprise to see an authentic Vietnamese place close to Breck. I was craving a hot soup and pho hit the spot. The place is actually in a hotel and really wasn't expecting that so we drove around the hotel and finally realized we had to walk into the hotel to get to the restaurant. When we arrived the place was pretty busy. The bar was packed and only a few tables open for seating. We had the egg rolls and tofu starter which were both excellent. We both had pho and to my surprise it was good. Above average actually. Reminds me of pho back home. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would surly come back next time I'm in town. We were on the way to KFC until we saw the sign for Pho Bay 2. We decided to ditch Colonel Sanders and get some Pho (and we were glad that we did). I love Pho! This is the best in the area! The food is amazing and they're really quick at bringing it out to you. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. They have a full bar and booths all around. The only thing that I didn't really like was the service. They didn't check up on us at all and they forgot my coffee. Our check was given to us 1/2 way through our meal and we felt a little rushed. My husband and I were so happy that a pho place was so close to our hotel. We were staying at the hotel right next to the hotel that the one the Pho Bay 2 was located in so we just had to walk across the parking lot to get to it. We could smell the yumminess right when we walked into the hotel lobby. There was a line of people waiting and the place was full, so that was a good sign. We both ordered the combination pho which has the rare beef, brisket, tendon and meatballs. I got a small (and it was plenty) and my husband got a medium. It did take little while for us to get our food, but the place was busy and it looked like there was only one waitress, so we allowed for that. Once we got our pho, it was worth it. They were generous with the bean sprouts, basil, lime and peppers. Usually I have to ask for extra lime wedges, but they gave us plenty. The broth was delicious and the brisket was tender and flavorful. There was also plenty of meat in the pho; especially the meatballs. We were both very satisfied. When we were ready to pay for our bill, we noticed the waitress didn't charge us for my husband's beer and told her. She told us the beer was free. I think she was so swamped that she didn't think it was worth the hassle to print out a new receipt. We thought that was nice of her. We really liked the pho and would have liked to try some other things on the menu. We'd definitely go back again if we were in Frisco. read more

My boyfriend ordered the Pho Dac Biet, and he could definitely tell that the enrich pho broth have been well prepared and seasoned . Lots of Vietnamese restaurants use cheap meat in order to preserve on the cost but not Pho Bay, the tendons and beef are A1! Could have sworn it was Wagyu beef . I ordered the Com Ga Roti and I highly suggest it. Ordered this on a Friday night after a full day on the slopes since the majority of restaurants in the area had a 1.5-2 hour wait for food. We called the order in and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes, which was literally heaven to our ears. Didn't expect to find decent Vietnamese food up in the mountains of Colorado but WOW the food was great! We ordered the bun and pho, and they both came with a good amount of meat.
