We came here while visiting Frisco after seeing the restaurant's high reviews, and I was really looking forward to a hot bowl of pho. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. Our server was not attentive--we asked for a sauce plate multiple times, and it only arrived after the third request, by which time we were already halfway through our pho. The pho itself lacked flavor, and the brisket was cut too thick. It was a few dollars more than what we'd typically pay in Denver, which is understandable for a mountain town, but I had hoped for more in terms of taste. We didn't see our original server again; a different staff member ended up ringing us up at the end.

Pleasant surprise in Silverthorne. Came in on a Saturday at 5pm and there was no wait. Big center bar with surrounding tables. Here's what I had: Pho#8 rare steak and brisket. Broth had good flavor on its own. Meats were tender and delicious.

I wouldn't call this authentic pho but it was surprisingly good. The broth was definitely flavorful from the meat, not from seasoning like many places. The rare beef and brisket we ordered were very tender and there was a good amount in the medium size. Service was good. We were seated quickly and the server took our orders shortly after. It was busy already around 5:30pm on a wednesday and there was a big bar in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely a popular spot so get there early to avoid the wait.

To be honest, we didn't know what to expect, as its kinda in the middle of no where. The restaurant's former life was a sport bar, I think, with a huge bar in the middle and open windows kitchen. We really really loved the pho, just wish there were more meats and the onions sliced thinner. The uncooked onions took away the delicious tasty broth. My hubby loved his grilled everything over noodle bowl too.

Do not eat here! From the beginning the server was not friendly. I wanted to eat something before skiing so I thought this would be perfect! I didn't want a lot of food so I ordered a kids meal to go! I wanted BBQ pork with rice but I got bbq pork with noodles. The worst Vietnamese food I've ever had! It came with no veggies and the bbq pork had no flavor and dry and there was very bland fish sauce. Like kids don't eat veggies ??? Usually we get sliced carrots and cilantro, etc but nada! I couldn't even eat it so it was a waste of money. I'm from CA so I guess I'm spoiled because Vietnamese food is good and inexpensive. This was bad and expensive!

Came in hungry and expecting simple food, walked out blown away by the flavors, portions, and prices! 100% you HAVE to try the fish sauce wings, the flavor is out of this world and they're cooked so well. I had the Korean galbi plate and there was a bountiful amount of meat for the price! The sauce paired great with it! I loved the dried garlic bits that were used as garnish, it added little crunch. The pork noodles were also very good, very big portions. Overall, unassuming place but it was packed for a reason!

Their XL bowl is HUGE. Biggest bowl I've ever seen in my life for pho. They also gave a generous amount of meat. However, my biggest problem with the dish is that the broth was way too sweet. I'm not sure if it's just catered to the general population here or what not, but if you're use to more authentic pho, I would definitely skip.

We enjoy this local Dillon spot each Spring Break. It's our lie-key guilty pleasure. Food is always reliable. Nothing too fancy but authentic and reliable. The Pho and the noodle bowls are our go-to.

This is always a go-to spot when we are in Colorado for skiing and snowboarding. The warm pho is not only perfect but also one of the best Pho's I've ever had, and I'm Vietnamese and have been to Vietnam several times! A must go. FYI: the rice options are also good!

After a long day of boarding we decided to warm our insides with a big ol bowl of Pho. First place I've ever been that they actually have 3 different sizes . Small medium and large. We all got mediums and they were huge. I took some of mine to go because I couldn't finish it. Ate it 3 days later and it was still really delicious lol. I ordered the raw beef style . They brought us loads of bean sprouts, Thai basil, likes and jalapeños. The broth was on point . Can't comment on any other food items on the menu because everyone got some sort of Pho for dinner. They had a full bar too but we just ordered hot sake. Great big bowl of Vietnamese soup if you are in the mood . read more

What a great place!!! And AMAZING FOOD and service. We went last night...group of 4 and super nice inside. Cozy! Sake was great. Pho was even better. Best I have ever had! And Ai (the owners son) came over to check on us and was super friendly. His parents work in the kitchen and he spent extra time to tell us the story. He said it gets super busy during peak times...but we went a little later and say right down. Tofu super fresh...broth amazing! Totally hit the spot!!! read more

We really wanted to love this place. Pho after skiing sounds like the cat's pajamas. Unfortunately it fell a little short. The pho itself was great a little more than city prices but that's to be expected. The space is in an replaced hotel restaurant so it feels really timber-y which was fun. The downside was time. We came in when it was busy but not packed, and proceeded to wait half an hour for what's essentially a bowl of soup. That easily triples the longest we've ever waited for pho. Get your expo sorted out and you'll have us back every weekend. read more

I have eaten in dives and starred restaurants & evaluate them on its own food, service, & atmosphere. When services are slow, I don't assume servers' at fault. But when it's a pho restaurant in a motel lobby, I expect a fast service. When your customers can't stay & eat since your service was so slow & you forgot to place the order in the first place, don't assume you're gonna get a full 20% tip. When you're arrogant & yell at a customer, don't expect a tip. You know what they say about AssUmption. Can't say much about the food since we didn't get to eat & it was the slowest service ever! I still tipped the server who made mistakes since I saw him literally running around serving. The other guy, Zach, was just rude, arrogant, & extremely proud of living in the Summit Co. I definitely felt unwelcomed since I didn't live in the county. Will NOT go back. read more

I have eaten at various pho spots as a person who grew up in Vietnamese culture so my expectations of pho is really high. I had a medium combination pho with all the meats. The broth is clean, light, and on the sweeter side. I crave pho whenever I need a heart-warming, but light-on-the-stomach lunch and this place definitely nailed it. The pho price is a bit on the higher side as a Houstonian but reasonable for this location. Overall their pho is exceptional and would definitely come back if I'm in town. read more

We had chicken wings for appetizer and it's delicious. Freshly made hot crunchy wings, just perfect for the winter. They have many flavors to pick. Their pho is decent too. They let you customize your bowl. You can chose 2-3 different meat. Good place for my Vietnamese food craving! Service was fast and friendly also! read more

Coming from a pho snob I would rate this a "pretty good". Service was excellent but the broth a bit anemic. Noodles were perfect the protein good. The usual accompaniment of fresh Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeño and lime were present. Full menu and would go back to try other dishes. read more

My wife and I got spring rolls, chicken bowl and large chicken pho. We thought all of the food was excellent. Very tasty! Our only wish was that the chicken pho needed a little more broth. Also, the price is a little steep for Vietnamese food (about $40 for all). read more

If you haven't been here then you've got to try this place after skiing or snowboarding. It's only a couple of minutes from I-70. Great service and food's even better!!! They also have a full bar if you need something other than a soft drink. read more

Summit county so badly needed this place! The food is incredible. Portions are generous. I go several times a week, it eaaily beats all the mediocrity summit has to offer. It's safe to say this is the only affordable ethnic food in the whole County! As far as the other users who complain of service - they are brand new! Cut them a little slack. There are plenty of other options for good service, lousy food and high prices. First time having Pho and it was great. Well the restaurant is in a weird location, attached to a 2 star hotel off I-70 in Frisco. The inside of the restaurant is nothing to look at, clean enough but looks like the inside of an IHOP. No cute decorations etc. Our server was nice and even honored the happy hour prices 15 minutes after happy hour was over. My friend and I split an order of spring rolls - one chicken and one pork and they were delicious. As for the pho - I got tofu and vegetables in a light broth ($7.95) and my friend got brisket and rare beef for ($10.95) the small order is plenty. I will return! read more

Really delicious pho and other Asian treats. I had a giant bowl of pho as well as the delicious fried pork ribs in Korean BBQ sauce. The pho was one of the best I've had anywhere and came with a goodly amount of Thai basil, bean sprouts, and jalepenos. The usual sauces are on the table for you. The service is more Asian style than American style - meaning there are lots of people running around at high speed. You might need to flag someone down when you need them. There's a full bar. It's in an odd location on the ground floor of a hotel, but the food is delicious. read more

Came here for snowboarding with 3 other friends a few weeks ago... This place was absolutely amazing!! The staff were so fast at everything, the food was great, the portions were huge!! Foods were satisfied. Flavor was good, but noodle and rice noodle tasted not so good. Services was horrible. It looked like they only have one server. We waited some time to get in, but there were plenty empty tables. We ordered the spring roll, but she totally forgot about it. While we were eating, she didn't ask us how we felt about the foods at all. When we tried to remind her of our spring roll, we tried at least three times to call her. I didn't know whether she was too busy or she was just ignoring us. The server just paid no attention to us at all, but she did ask the other table. WHY??? Btw, their bowl is much larger than the other restaurant. Just reminding you. read more

Going a bit downhill on service and prices went up, but food is really great. They are the only good PHO place in Summit so far, even though a couple more are recently opened and hopefully perfecting. Happy hours prices are a good deal. Enormous PHO bowls. The pho here was ok. I got the vegetarian one but the waitress never asked what kind of broth I wanted (yes you got to choose) so just gave me I guess the vegetarian kind? which was pretty bland. The waitress left us hanging. Never came to fill up drinks and we had to look for someone to get our check after waiting a good 20 minutes just sitting there. read more

This small vietnamese place in a hotel in the middle of Colorado blew me away. While visiting, my Vietnamese family was on a Vietnamese food deprivation and decided to eat here. Expecting some okay food, what we got was beyond our exoectations. Com8ng from SoCal, we have some good Viet spots, but this place was on par and even better than some places at home. The portions were huge and the food delicious. Bowls of Pho were ginourmous and my french style beef plate tasted great. Even the smoothies did not have the powder taste, but actual fruit was made with it. To all my Vietnamese lovers visiting Colorado, GO HERE! read more

I love pho in the middle of America. It's perfect for winter folks to warm up and enjoy the mountain view. And yes, it is operated by a real Vietnamese owned family. My wife added vegetables. One good thing, the serving was huge. Bad things; broth was not hot nor clear, which was worst we have had. They use the larger noodles rather than the thinner noodles normally found in Pho. Guess wouldn't have been a deal breaker if the broth, which is most important, was good. Sorry but would not recommend this place, at least for Pho.

Both were just so amazingly delicious. I actually find myself thinking of finding an excuse to go back to FairPlay so I can get such wonderful food again because in my area it's hard to find such good Asian food. I cannot recommend this place enough. It checked all of the boxes and then some. The only downside is there are no lunch specials but I felt like the food was worth every penny we paid.

Food was good but our server was rude. She was impatient when taking our order and argued with my wife. She also would drop items at the end of the table and say "you share." I could understand if she were unable to walk around the table but we were in the middle of the room. She argued with my wife about her order. For build your own pho, the menu says choose from the main items "above." One choice is vegetables and tofu which is what my wife indicated when she placed her order but she was only given vegetables. The server rudely said you said vegetables not tofu. Evidently to the left side (not above) there is a vegetable only option. The server did not try to understand when I explained that the menu indicated items above not to the side. This was very poor customer service. She continued arguing with me and I told her that she was rude and that I was done talking. She offered to bring tofu at this point but I told her it's too late now. At some point during our conversation I asked for the manger and was told that he was not there. I even asked for his phone number and she initially said he didn't have one. She also added a 18% tip due to the size of our group (7) even though it was not stated in the menu that this was the policy. When I questioned her, she refused to talk to me and sent over another server. I asked her to explain about the added tip and was told that this was their policy. I then pointed out that this policy was not stated in the menu and that the added tip should be removed. This server did remove the tip. The strangest thing is that they also initially charged tax on the added tip. I've been to restaurants that automatically add a tip for large groups but have never been charged tax on the tip. read more

I'm giving this place a 1 star review because of the bad attitude of this Branden waiter expressed toward to the customers. We have a party of 16 people, but the restaurant was very busy when we came in, so we told him we don't care where to sit, 4 separate tables of four seats are totally fine. But 30 minutes later, he was all confused, only said we have 3 tables and keep arguing with the group. I was trying to explain and help him to get the situation straight, but he just ignore and was VERY RUDE to the group. Later when I finally get seated, Branden come to me not once but twice complaining about us, giving me very bad attitudes and tell other people we are "angry customers" right in front of us!! I understand the restaurant was very busy and he is probably stressed and overwhelmed, but he can't blame this to his customers! read more

I was in the restaurant when that rude customer verbally attacked Laura with no provercation by her. It was clear that there was no pleasing him. She and the rest of the staff tried their hardest to accommodate him. As for Rob's statement I did not find any of the servers loud and unprofessional. It was a awesome meal and take away the fact the place was slammed wuth customers too and they were cleaning up. So this is say to you Rob work in a busy new resturaunt before you pass judgement. This is my go-to local restaurant for Asian food - it's terrific! The pho is excellent, they clearly put care and time into their broth. It's best eaten there while hot. Fresh basil, yummy jalapenos, and bean sprouts make for a tasty pho. I also love their wings with the sweet Thai chili sauce, beef spring rolls, the dumplings, and the fried rice entree.
