Updated review: decided to give it another shot but ordered take out this time. We ordered pho and a noodle bowl. The order was on time and food was better than expected. The pho broth was hearty and there were plenty of vegetables, noodles and meat. Same can be said for the noodle bowl, lots of meat, but I didn't try it. Good flavors. Had a great dinner here on vacation recently; it was so good I went back again the next night. Who would have thought once could find good Pho in Frisco, CO? It was as good as anything I could find in the San Francisco Bay Area. Even has a number in the restaurant name. Try the classic Pho Tai, hard to miss with that one. Fresh and fried spring rolls were good too. The waitress was delightfully pleasant. What more could you ask for? I'm looking forward to my next visit. I was really surprised with the pho here. The broth was tasty and they give you good portions of meat. It is nice that you can order a beer with your pho since its also a bar. The restaurant is in the lobby of a hotel so the atmosphere is not great and we had families walking by from the pool often. The egg rolls are like generic Chinese egg rolls, not authentic Vietnamese ones that I have had other places. My friend really likes the dumplings. read more

What the pho was that? First impression: awkwardly quiet, regardless of every seat being taken. Napkins somehow seemed intentionally placed all over the floor. REALLY hesitant to enter at this point but the raving reviews pushed us past the initial disgust. We ordered the spring rolls, and received them a suspicious half a second later - they felt like an uncircumcised penis in an oversized dry condom. We then ordered the "Pho Bay" (also received one second after ordering) which was only edible with four pounds of the chili sauce they provide (the chili sauce gets five stars). Basically, it's a lot of work for diarrhea. After spending 30 minutes wrestling to crack open a crab leg with his soupy hands, my boyfriend produced enough crab meat to cover his pinky nail. The rest of what is in the soup - must be eaten with your hands. It's less a soup - more like bobbing for low grade "seafood" you never wanted but paid $15 for. Also. Their noodles were gross. How? HOW DO YOU MESS UP NOODLES? One star, maybe Pho Bay 3 will be a hit. read more

Great authentic pho and quality spring rolls.

Finally good Asian food in summit county! I have ate at pho bay twice. The first time I got chicken pho and spring rolls. Both were delicious! All the toppings with pho were super fresh and plentiful. The spring rolls had an amazing peanut dipping sauce. The second time I opted for a rice dish. Again delicious! It had streak, chicken, pork and a fried egg. Besides the food, the servers and bartenders were great and very friendly. read more

Very good I was very surprised. The bowls of marinated meat are huge with lots of rice noodles and the Vietnamese egg rolls were delicious. The pho is exactly what I wanted and expected. The bar side of the restaurant felt awkward like it didn't really belong there. Service was ok, a little slow. The small bowl of pho was $10 which I did not expect. In Denver a small bowl of pho would average about $7. Over all a pretty good place. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. It was soooo good! We started off with the spring rolls - very fresh and tasty. Everyone ordered a medium size pho bowl. I chose shrimp and upgraded to filet. The steak was so tender and shrimp was also delish. All of the veggies and herbs were so fresh. Everyone had a lot of leftovers, which tasted amazing the next day for lunch. Order a small bowl if you do not want to take anything home - portion sizes are huge. Freindly service but the kitchen is a little slow. The place was busy for lunch. I feel this place could hold it's own in the SF Bay Area. The food is delicious. I got the #22 Pho with everything. The anise and the basil flavor was a dream. The tenon wasn't that great and I wish they had tripe; however, the meatballs and beef were very good. The kids got an awesome combo fried rice with shrimp and crawfish which my 5 year old son ate all the seafood and left the chicken for me. The boba tea was okay.... the bobas seemed a little had and wasn't sweet enough for me. read more

This place is interesting. It's in the lobby of a hotel. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese egg rolls. However they don't give enough lettuce to wrap them up. I got the pho. Rare meat and shrimp. No thought the broth was bland. They need to drain it up more. Having been to Vietnam and eating pho day after day for weeks I really wanted to eat it again but this place just missed the mark for me. I will not eat the pho again there but I will try the fried rice. My friend had that and it tastes great! So 2 out of the three dishes we ordered were good. Other people seem to be enjoying but I have to say it's nothing like real Vietnam food. I will eat here again. Just not as often as I was hoping too. The prices were fair. It was a pleasant surprise to find this Vietnamese restaurant in the lobby of the Baymont Inn just off I-70 in Frisco. The pho bowls were large and good (I had a "small" bowl that held at least a pint) and was amply satisfied. The rice plates were huge and would have fed two or three people (eating sensibly). The waitress was very pleasant and efficient and the room was dark and decent, although not fancy. The price was also very reasonable. Good job! read more

The food was good. The waitress quite gruff. 20% gratuity is added to the tab without notice so check your bill and don't tip twice, unless you had great service. It might be a good idea for Pho Bay to periodically sweep the the floor, say once or twice a month at least. read more

Pho bay has DELICIOUS food. I'm kind of obsessed. We've had the dumplings, pho, and wings. All super yummy! Can't wait to go back and try more. My only complaint (and it's picky and has nothing to do with the awesomeness of the food, I know) is that last time we were there we sat at the bar for lunch and they had Keeping up with the Kardashians on the tv (sound and all), and I had to hear those horrible human beings in the background of my meal. read more

Interesting place, we really like it because it's a welcome change from the usual fare locally. If you are from LA, SF, or other large city you most likely would not be overly impressed but it is a welcome site for this somewhat limited mountain community. The food is tasty and very satisfying, I always get full here and I have a very hearty appetite. They are closed on Sundays which is when we usually want to go and remember to pay at the cashier station and not your waiter. It is a super casual and fun atmosphere, very lively and though it felt like the line was never going to move at first to get seated at our table ..suddenly everyone was seated and served very smoothly. Bummer that they still use styrofoam for all to go food. Very cool place overall, we really like this place! read more

$13.95 for medium size rare beef pho is definitely expensive but we were just happy that there's a very good Vietnamese restaurant in a resort town. Grilled pork with egg over rice was excellent too. We had dinner at this restaurant two out of four nights we stayed at Keystone. Highly recommended. read more

I love pho! This restaurant has definitely mastered pho in every way! The broth is delicious and full of flavor! I always have extra broth to take home and then I can have left overs and cook some rice noodles that I get at city market. Their fried rice is also pretty good and their Korean ribs are to die for! Their boba is a yummy treat and very good to cool your taste buds! I always get a small with extra noodles! It's enough broth to last ya! Very decent prices! read more

In all honesty the only reason why this place gets as many stars as it does is most likely because it's the only Pho place in Keystone. After a long day on the mountain being able to have Pho is always a good thing. However, our experience here is not as others have stated. The line was long which is expected, but the way they handled it all was terrible. They had half the restaurant tables open but didn't seat anyone until 30 mins later on that side. The waiters are rude in their tone and their mannerisms towards you. I don't typically expect much from Pho places we are used to the less than desirable service most places offer, but this was beyond that. We ordered spring rolls they came back said they were out and ran off without asking if we wanted something else. About 15 mins later a couple was sat behind us they ordered spring rolls so I stopped their waiter asked if it was out and he said it's out and ran off. Then a couple mins later he came back with spring rolls. The meatballs are sliced thinly into 4s instead of the typical half you would see at most Pho places, for the price of the Pho ($11-$15) that is a bit shady. They are lucky they are the only Pho option in town otherwise I am sure people would go elsewhere. They need to do better and I hope they do. read more

Pho in Frisco?!? Say that 3 times fast. I think it's the only Pho place in the county. The food is excellent, I gave it 1 less star because my service was not excellent....won't say who, but sit at a table, not the bar. I was so happy when this Vietnamese Restaurant opened up in Frisco a few months ago and even happier when their food proved to be fantastic! My husband ordered the Shaking Beef (Bo Luc Lac) and it was really tender and delicious. I had the Brisket Pho which was excellent. We live in the area and are thrilled that a good Vietnamese restaurant is here so we don't have to go all the way to Denver. We'll be back! read more

This place is inside of a hotel, which is kind of odd. Came with a group of 11 people for lunch. Sweet waitress, we all got some variation of pho or noodle bowls. The wait wasn't long, and the food was delicious! I had the vegetarian pho, and there were plenty of veggies to offset the noodles.
