This place is at last free exit of 360S, which is a great location considering how far south it is from DFW. I tried the special spicy Bun Bo Hue, but was disappointed how much meat were I the soup. The pork knuckle and pork blood (supply shortage) from the ingredients. They serve it with pretty vegetables including basil, but not really spicy on the soup base The Summer Rolls tasted great. Where do I start? First off atmosphere is amazing, it's nice and has an elegant feel. Second, Tom is by far one of the best severs we had in quite some time. He took care of us start to finish. You know how dirty rice sounds bad, but is really so good? That's what makes Pho Duc stand apart from the clearer, more refined pho in our area: deep, "dirty" broth. We've visited enough since our foodie neighbor introduced us to this place to try almost everything we want in addition to the pho: Hu Tieu and Banh Canh, both flavorful noodle soups with green onions and crispy cubes of pork swimming on top; porkchop and chopped pork rice platters, which thankfully have gotten a little bigger than when we first came; crispy egg rolls; and fresh spring rolls. We act like the requisite 10 minutes is such a long wait, but I think that little note is what has stopped us from ordering the renowned stuffed wings. So maybe next time. With young children, we always appreciate when wait staff wear masks, and most of our waiters here have done that. Having opened in the middle of a pandemic, I hoped they would offer outdoor seating along the front walkway, but for now, we enjoy how spacious it is inside and are happy they offer take-out. Love love love this new Vietnamese restaurant! It's not like we don't already have enough Vietnamese choices in this area, but for sure not all are equally good, Pho Duc is definitely my top pick for now, especially being so close to home too! We have tried almost everything on the menu, so far my favorites are the dry noodle/Hu tieu kho and Bun Bo Hue/spicy beef noodle soup. The hu tieu kho is a true party in your mouth with so much flavor and different flavors. Add the pickled garlic and pickled jalapeno for extra kicks and flavors. Their Bun Bo Hue is probably the closest flavor to what I had in Vietnam. Love that they serve it with a side of banana blossoms and vietnamese coriander. One of very few places I have been to that actually offer these. Everything we have ordered here has been great to excellent, with the exception of the pho. The flavor is good, but the portion is left to be desired, definitely much less protein when comparing to other soup. Regardless, we keep coming back at least once a week to get our hu tieu kho and Bun Bo Hue fix. Their drive thru pick up is also another huge plus, since no other Vietnamese restaurant I can think of in DFW has this. On my way to an exam in Dallas from my cousins house and put in an order to pick up some lunch. My order was scheduled to be picked up at 11:35 and they were done and ready to pick up right at 11:05, which was great as I was headed into downtown Dallas with NO IDEA where I was going, so me n my two sandwiches; one for lunch after the test and one for my daughter and spring rolls for before the test! Mmmm I was impressed first of all that when asking dor nuoc mam with my spring rolls I wasn't given straight fish sauce lol. A Yummy mix of chilis and garlic with fish sauce in a tiny container with two very large spring rolls tightly packed inside their container awaited me when I arrived at my Dallas testing center. These rolls really saved the day as I hadn't eaten breakfast n to me there is NOTHING better than fresh Asian food first thing in the morning! And Pho Duc not only comes correct in the taste department they also present their food beautifully in their boxes! After my exam the Bahn mi sandwiches waited for me too. And again A. Gorgeous in their little box and B Delicious!! The bread has a nice chew with soft inside. The bar b que pork is flavorful, tender and PACKED. I complained about my delivery experience so I went in today. Total FAIL. The broth flavor used to be so rich and delicious. Today it was full of dried onions and tasted more like packet soup mix. It was salty. No plate of garnish and even though I asked for no bean sprouts, I still wanted the mint, jalapeños and lime. Nope, that didn't come with the soup. While my waitress was nice enough, she tried to tell me that this "new" version was how it always was, nope. The vibe in the restaurant has even changed. It was more lively and upbeat. Perhaps they have had to cut costs, but the quality of the meal shouldn't suffer. I just had my last meal here because I threw that imposter Pho in the trash. We ordered a large and a medium white meat chicken Pho and the difference between the two dishes was a $1.00. It wasn't even worth it. I wish I had taken a picture of the dumplings. They looked like they had been refried. Maybe they are pre-fried and set aside so they can get them to the table faster. They were just ok but I was starving! I am sad that this place has gone from one of my favorites to the banished list of never again food places. I will go back to Pho Pasteur or 95. After that debacle of a meal today, they will be stellar and that's saying something because they were both just ok to me. Pho Duc stood out because of the richness of their broth. If I want Lipton soup mix, I can make it at home for a fraction of what I paid to throw away that salty, uneventful meal. read more

I rate this experience a 7 out of 10. I don't think I've ever been to a pho restaurant where it too longer than 10 mins or so to be served. That's just the expectation of pho restaurants. Because the dish is so easy to assemble. I ordered a pho, some spring rolls and a banh mi. Each item came out separately. First the rolls, then the pho, then the sandwich. At this point, my family had a good head start on their food before I received mine. I don't think it was THAT busy but maybe they were short a cook or something. But either way, I wasn't too fond of the food coming out separately like that. Especially dishes that are pretty easy to make. The pho was good. The broth has a different flavor than others I've tasted. I think it has a strong hint of anise. My daughter really liked it though. But I'd give it an 8. The spring rolls were sparse with the vermicelli. Even my 5 yr old said "mom, they didn't put a lot of noodles, just lettuce." They were a fairly big size and the order came with two but I think the rolls were a little hollow of noodles. I'd give it a 6. Lastly, the banh mi. I'm glad they had the viet sausage banh mi but for some reason the sandwich just didn't taste as delightful. There was no pate, just the butter. Not much pickled dikon and carrots. And the unpleasant part about it was that the bread didn't taste or even feel as fresh. The edges of the sandwich were so crumbly and tasted dry. I hurt the roof of my mouth so much by the time I finished eating it. I appreciate that it was toasted but it was reallyyy rough... and super crumbly or crusty, however you want to call it. I'd give it a 5. The place looked decent. And the server was very nice. I came here for a quick bite since I was in the area. Not quite sure if I will return but overall it wasn't that bad. I've ordered from Pho Duc with Uber Eats many times and have never been disappointed. I took the kids out to eat at the restaurant a few weeks ago and we all enjoyed our food. We got the two 3 meat pho bowls which had soooo much meat, oxtail pho (fall off the bone!), and salt n pepper chicken wings. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Upon walking in, service was a bit slow although there was only one occupied table. Once our orders were taken and I asked for steamed beansprouts in Vietnamese, service seemed friendlier and more accommodating. read more

Wow this place has some pretty amazing food! The new Salt and Pepper shrimp that was recorded from the waitress was THE BOMB i got all the meats Pho the broth is perfect our waitress was very attentive and very nice. The inside is very nice with a sit up bar. Would recommend them carry a few craft beers so they can get more of my dollars. We will be back. I woke up with a little food poisoning and the only thing i can think to eat is pho. We are not from the area so we randomly picked this place via Yelp. I'm so glad we did! This is the best pho of 3 restaurants I've tried in DFW (other two were in Dallas). The restaurant has a modern interior and large TVs that were playing football, muted, on the Sunday afternoon we stopped in. Our server promptly brought water and directed us to a QR code for the menu. Our two bowls of pho came out quickly. The texture of the noodles was spot on and the eye round stake in mine was tasty and not too heavy. The broth is great and there are fresh toppings. The medium size is good for a lighter meal. Arriving at Pho Duc we found a traditional Vietnamese restaurant that was comfortable and simplistic. The waitress promptly came to our table to offer us drinks and see if we had any questions. Looking at their menu I was excited about trying this new to me restaurant. I ordered the rice plate with grilled chicken. My husband ordred the potstickers, vegetarian egg rolls and a grilled chicken ban mi. My husband and I enjoyed the potstickers and egg rolls. His sandwich came out in a bread pan and although cut in half, it completely filled the pan. My meal came out and I was intrigued by the bright red color of the chicken. The chicken was so dry that I had to drink a lot of water with each bite to be able to get it down. The rice and soup were both good. Finally a pho place near Camp wisdom and 360! Right by Lake Ridge! This place gave me family vibes! Great service, easy parking, very clean restaurant, and the flavors are simply amazing!! I ordered the pho, spring rolls, and eggrolls I also ordered a steak dish! The flavors are so delicious, and what I love is after you order, the food is brought out by the chef, she's an older lady, and seems to really know her food!! The spring rolls were like bigger than my hand! I loved it, and they are so generous with their egg rolls and noodle dish, tons of eggrolls in the bowl and it was so delicious. I've been here twice, could have sworn I left a review unless they took it down. We got quail to start and it was really good. I got the filet mignon fried rice and it was absolutely amazing. It looks nice inside and my date liked it. I didn't really like the service and then they wouldn't let us order something from the kid's meal to go for her daughter.
