My friend and I recently tried this place after she saw some good reviews on social media recommending this place. We came on a Saturday afternoon and the place had a lot of customers going in and out. I will say that the customer service is really good. We ordered the salt and pepper shrimp, which came out pretty lukewarm and didn't have any sauce accompanying the dish. The staff was pretty nice and bringing out what they have after we requested something to eat it with. I do wish the dish was hot and not on the warm cold side. It would've made it a seven out of 10 for me. I ordered the chicken pho with dark meat, and although the broth was OK, I definitely had some complaints. The pho came out lukewarm as well and wasn't piping hot as I normally like. I typically order pho with dark meat however, the meat that was served was aesthetically, not pleasing, and honestly looks like a wild chicken butchered and added to my bowl. This was beyond dark meat, pretty veiny, really dark purple pieces of meat, pieces of boiled chicken skin, and I was completely turned off. My friend did ask on my behalf for a side of white meat to replace the dark meat I kept taking out of my bowl, which was nice of them to do. My friend ordered an oxtail pho and she enjoyed it for the most part, but also was a little bit turned off by the meat and how veiny it was. Not all pieces were like that to be fair. She also did get a charge for extra oxtail that she didn't ask for. The lady that originally took our order was no longer in the restaurant by the time we paid so we told another staff member and he ended up bringing out cash instead of refunding the money on the card. Because my friend had experience working in food, she believes he probably took out money from his own tip to do so and we've really feel bad for that. My friend also made it a point to ask if they had specifically Ocean Spray cranberry juice, and the waitress assured her that they serve that however when it was brought out, it didn't taste anything like she requested. Again, she has experience in the food industry and knows what she's talking about so it was a little disappointing that the waitress wasn't a little bit more forthcoming. I would give this place a try again because our food wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't make my way all the way from Dallas to Grand Prairie to do so in all fairness. I did like the customer service though and thought they were pretty kind. If you're in the area, I would still try this out and I love the abundance of dessert, places nearby in the area or even bubble tea places to make us a nice foodie experience.
I enjoyed the Oxtail PHO and the service was great! They also have a bar we were able to enjoy a cold beer along with our meal. Overall, a nice casual place to go and eat something delicious.

I had the pho with all the meats and my friend had the curry goat pho and OMG. Simply AMAZINGGGG! I love pho and ramen but that curry was chefs kiss! The service was fast and plenty of room to fit many tables. I would 10000% go back
The 24 hour broth coupled with the A5 wagyu was not your average experience. This special is a game changer for my pho experiences. The filet mignon congee called to me. It was so delicious. I love congee and this was some of the best I can remember. Banh Mi hit too. Everything was delicious. Service was on point and the vibe was chill.
My go-to PHO joint when I need the feel-good comfort of great food, great customer service & budget-friendly vegan options! Tam is so cool & down-to-earth! Great service! The Vegan Pho & the tofu spring rolls with basil are my go-to! The fresh $2 Mimosa on the weedends are always a win! Ambianceis clean & chill.
Very modern looking, clean, and customer service was friendly!! Menu pricing was very reasonable. I ordered a bowl of pho with the option of 3 meats of my choosing. All the meats were delicious, high quality, and generously portioned. The bowl was somewhat heavy on the black pepper. In my opinion, the broth could've used a bit more salt, but overall, it was solid. I also got the egg rolls, which were reasonably priced (3 for $4.95). They weren't the best egg rolls I've had, but they did the job.
A very unsuspecting Vietnamese restaurant located in a Target plaza. I didn't have high expectations as this place wasn't in the high density Vietnamese areas of Dallas. I was throughly blown away by the amazing Pho. It was fragrant and definitely a beefier broth, which I appreciated. The bowl reminded me of a homemade bowl. You can tell the love was put into as even the Bo Vien (meatball) was made in house, which is not common at all. The restaurant was clean and the service was on point!
Not the best Vietnamese foods that I've ever had, but it was still good. I've.been searching for true Vietnamese bún riêu yumminess, the kind that my mom made when she was still alive, and the kind that I was able to find back in Cali. However, this wasn't it, However, it was still good. The calamari was good. It reminded me of my mom's. My boyfriend and his son had the pho, and they both liked it. My daughter had the dumplings and loved it. Service was awesome. Prices were higher than I had anticipated, but I would come back to try other dishes.
Mixed review on staff. One person was very welcoming (male) and one was super lackluster (female). I am giving the place 4 stars because the food was fresh and hot. The restaurant itself was mostly clean and it was set up well. However, the woman was a bit off-putting, the rice was good but different from expected when you think of shrimp fried rice so be ready for that. The walnut prawns are just that-- not honey walnut. I realize this is Vietnamese and not Chinese food and I should have tempered my expectations accordingly. I would go back and hope for a better service experience overall and order some signature Vietnamese dishes.
If you're looking for pho that's bursting with flavor and doesn't require a single extra ingredient, Pho Duc in Grand Prairie is the place to be. As someone who's never been a huge fan of pho, this spot completely changed the game for me--and now it's become a regular stop for my family and me. Faux Duck has a casual, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. It's like a modern-day Cheers--the kind of place where the staff knows your order before you even sit down. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, which makes it perfect for a quick solo meal or a group gathering. Their menu is extensive, but everything is made with care, and the flavors are consistently amazing. * Filet Mignon Pho: This is the star of the show for me. The broth is so rich and flavorful that I don't need to add anything--not sriracha, not lime, not jalapeños. It's perfect on its own, which is rare for pho. Lately, I've been ordering my noodles on the side because the broth is so good I could drink it on its own. * Pork Spring Rolls: The grilled pork here is soooo good. So flavorful that I often just want to eat it straight out of the roll. * Other Favorites: * Curry: Creamy and flavorful, with the perfect balance of spices. * Lo Mein: Packed with flavor and perfectly sauced. * Pepper Chicken & Shrimp: A delicious combo of tender meat and rich, peppery sauce. * Goat & Duck Dishes: Unique and incredibly well-prepared, these dishes are always a hit. The service is excellent when the main guy (I really need to get his name!) is working. He knows our order, makes great recommendations, and always ensures everything is perfect. When he's not there, the service can be slower and less knowledgeable, and the food quality is a half step below the usual amazing .
We were on the hunt for something different today and we found it. Service was friendly, place was clean and had a good flow. Food was not the best but not the worst. I'd suggest a few changes. Some of the prices were a little on the high side for me, I wasn't a fan of the non-green products like the use of paper straws and washable ramekins (I like to save the earth as much as possible). I would go here again.
My favorite pho place in the Mansfield/Arlington area. Great value for quality pho, with flavorful broth, meats and veggies always fresh, and customer service is always friendly. After trying all the pho places i can find, i come to Pho Duc 3 times a week.

You know how dirty rice sounds bad, but is really so good? That's what makes Pho Duc stand apart from the clearer, more refined pho in our area: deep, "dirty" broth. We've visited enough since our foodie neighbor introduced us to this place to try almost everything we want in addition to the pho: Hu Tieu and Banh Canh, both flavorful noodle soups with green onions and crispy cubes of pork swimming on top; porkchop and chopped pork rice platters, which thankfully have gotten a little bigger than when we first came; crispy egg rolls; and fresh spring rolls. We act like the requisite 10 minutes is such a long wait, but I think that little note is what has stopped us from ordering the renowned stuffed wings. So maybe next time. With young children, we always appreciate when wait staff wear masks, and most of our waiters here have done that. Having opened in the middle of a pandemic, I hoped they would offer outdoor seating along the front walkway, but for now, we enjoy how spacious it is inside and are happy they offer take-out. It's pricey (avg cost $14/entree) so check out the Ad Pages for a couple of their coupons while they're available! read more

My daughter and I LOVE this place! She never finishes her pho, but she did here! She got the chicken pho with dark meat and I got the oxtail pho!!! So delicious! I also love that you get 3 egg rolls in an egg roll order. Make sure you get their lemonade! It's made in house fresh daily!!! We can't get enough of it! Love love love this new Vietnamese restaurant! It's not like we don't already have enough Vietnamese choices in this area, but for sure not all are equally good, Pho Duc is definitely my top pick for now, especially being so close to home too! We have tried almost everything on the menu, so far my favorites are the dry noodle/Hu tieu kho and Bun Bo Hue/spicy beef noodle soup. The hu tieu kho is a true party in your mouth with so much flavor and different flavors. Add the pickled garlic and pickled jalapeno for extra kicks and flavors. Their Bun Bo Hue is probably the closest flavor to what I had in Vietnam. Love that they serve it with a side of banana blossoms and vietnamese coriander. One of very few places I have been to that actually offer these. Everything we have ordered here has been great to excellent, with the exception of the pho. The flavor is good, but the portion is left to be desired, definitely much less protein when comparing to other soup. Regardless, we keep coming back at least once a week to get our hu tieu kho and Bun Bo Hue fix. Their drive thru pick up is also another huge plus, since no other Vietnamese restaurant I can think of in DFW has this. On my way to an exam in Dallas from my cousins house and put in an order to pick up some lunch. My order was scheduled to be picked up at 11:35 and they were done and ready to pick up right at 11:05, which was great as I was headed into downtown Dallas with NO IDEA where I was going, so me n my two sandwiches; one for lunch after the test and one for my daughter and spring rolls for before the test! Mmmm I was impressed first of all that when asking dor nuoc mam with my spring rolls I wasn't given straight fish sauce lol. A Yummy mix of chilis and garlic with fish sauce in a tiny container with two very large spring rolls tightly packed inside their container awaited me when I arrived at my Dallas testing center. These rolls really saved the day as I hadn't eaten breakfast n to me there is NOTHING better than fresh Asian food first thing in the morning! And Pho Duc not only comes correct in the taste department they also present their food beautifully in their boxes! After my exam the Bahn mi sandwiches waited for me too. And again A. Gorgeous in their little box and B Delicious!! The bread has a nice chew with soft inside. The bar b que pork is flavorful, tender and PACKED. I always order mine with extra jalapeños and these actually had good spice too!! Very happy with my experience here and I will definitely be back when I'm back in the area! Thanks guys!! read more

I complained about my delivery experience so I went in today. Total FAIL. The broth flavor used to be so rich and delicious. Today it was full of dried onions and tasted more like packet soup mix. It was salty. No plate of garnish and even though I asked for no bean sprouts, I still wanted the mint, jalapeños and lime. Nope, that didn't come with the soup. While my waitress was nice enough, she tried to tell me that this "new" version was how it always was, nope. The vibe in the restaurant has even changed. It was more lively and upbeat. Perhaps they have had to cut costs, but the quality of the meal shouldn't suffer. I just had my last meal here because I threw that imposter Pho in the trash. We ordered a large and a medium white meat chicken Pho and the difference between the two dishes was a $1.00. It wasn't even worth it. I wish I had taken a picture of the dumplings. They looked like they had been refried. Maybe they are pre-fried and set aside so they can get them to the table faster. They were just ok but I was starving! I am sad that this place has gone from one of my favorites to the banished list of never again food places. I will go back to Pho Pasteur or 95. After that debacle of a meal today, they will be stellar and that's saying something because they were both just ok to me. Pho Duc stood out because of the richness of their broth. If I want Lipton soup mix, I can make it at home for a fraction of what I paid to throw away that salty, uneventful meal. read more

I rate this experience a 7 out of 10. I don't think I've ever been to a pho restaurant where it too longer than 10 mins or so to be served. That's just the expectation of pho restaurants. Because the dish is so easy to assemble. I ordered a pho, some spring rolls and a banh mi. Each item came out separately. First the rolls, then the pho, then the sandwich. At this point, my family had a good head start on their food before I received mine. I don't think it was THAT busy but maybe they were short a cook or something. But either way, I wasn't too fond of the food coming out separately like that. Especially dishes that are pretty easy to make. The pho was good. The broth has a different flavor than others I've tasted. I think it has a strong hint of anise. My daughter really liked it though. But I'd give it an 8. The spring rolls were sparse with the vermicelli. Even my 5 yr old said "mom, they didn't put a lot of noodles, just lettuce." They were a fairly big size and the order came with two but I think the rolls were a little hollow of noodles. I'd give it a 6. Lastly, the banh mi. I'm glad they had the viet sausage banh mi but for some reason the sandwich just didn't taste as delightful. There was no pate, just the butter. Not much pickled dikon and carrots. And the unpleasant part about it was that the bread didn't taste or even feel as fresh. The edges of the sandwich were so crumbly and tasted dry. I hurt the roof of my mouth so much by the time I finished eating it. I appreciate that it was toasted but it was reallyyy rough... and super crumbly or crusty, however you want to call it. I'd give it a 5. The place looked decent. And the server was very nice. I came here for a quick bite since I was in the area. Not quite sure if I will return but overall it wasn't that bad. I've ordered from Pho Duc with Uber Eats many times and have never been disappointed. I took the kids out to eat at the restaurant a few weeks ago and we all enjoyed our food. We got the two 3 meat pho bowls which had soooo much meat, oxtail pho (fall off the bone!), and salt n pepper chicken wings. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Upon walking in, service was a bit slow although there was only one occupied table. Once our orders were taken and I asked for steamed beansprouts in Vietnamese, service seemed friendlier and more accommodating. read more

Our go to place for canh chua (sour catfish soup) and ca kho (caramelized catfish) It's definitely comparable to my tho or even better! Takes about 20 min to make so don't come too hungry. Their service is not your typical "Asian" places. They actually refill our drinks! :) read more
Finally a pho place near Camp wisdom and 360! Right by Lake Ridge! This place gave me family vibes! Great service, easy parking, very clean restaurant, and the flavors are simply amazing!! I ordered the pho, spring rolls, and eggrolls I also ordered a steak dish! The flavors are so delicious, and what I love is after you order, the food is brought out by the chef, she's an older lady, and seems to really know her food!! The spring rolls were like bigger than my hand! I loved it, and they are so generous with their egg rolls and noodle dish, tons of eggrolls in the bowl and it was so delicious. Family owned and operated so already a plus in my book. Friendly, fast and attentive service. The oxtail pho is meaty and fall of the bone as it should. Now, if you have ever made anything with oxtail, you know that the cost would be more. So, yes the price point would be more. The broth had depth and warm spices. I also got the grilled pork spring roll and it was grilled well. Overall, I have not seen many pho restaurants that would have only oxtail on their menu. I recommend to give this place a try and support small business whenever possible! read more

Location: This new restaurant is nestled in the shopping area by the Super Target off 360 & Sublett. You can see it when you're driving by off the access road off 360, but you have to drive through the parking spaces as it's tucked closer towards the highway. Very easy to find, their sign is legible and hard to miss. Atmosphere: When you enter, the atmosphere seems VERY different from a typical Pho restaurant. Usually a space this trendy and stylish would reek of Americanized dishes that lack authentic flavors, but this place is full of surprises. Not only is their atmosphere very inviting and aesthetically pleasing, but it matches their phenomenal food quality as well. Seating: There is plenty of room for large groups to eat here comfortably. We came in a party of 5 on Friday night. About 7pm. We were quickly seated and were even able to choose where we wanted to sit. Pricing: Although my first impressions of their menu felt their prices were too high, I now understand why. At Pho Duc, you truly get what you pay for! Their broths here have a very deep, complex flavor profile that I cannot say I have had anywhere else. Their meat & noodle portions are so generous. Their service is so quick & when they know a dish is going to take awhile, their communication is clear and upfront. Yes, their prices are higher than most places but I would rather pay $2 more here for better food, more food, and great service each time. Overall Value: We left here with a $100 grand total (with tip). We ordered the stuffed chicken wings, shrimp spring rolls, 3 different soups, and a beer. I believe that this establishment has earned my repeat business and I recommend them to anyone looking for a delicious Pho dinner in an upscale setting with beers on tap!! We will be back! read more
