4.5 stars. Pho Ever More is a local restaurant that serves pho as well as many other Asian foods--starters (e.g., edamame, kimchi pancake, and teokbokki), vermicelli, Korean ramen, hibachi rice and noodles, fried rice, desserts (e.g., mochi ice cream and castella and ice cream), bubble teas, etcetera. My husband and I ate one dinner here. Our waiter served us promptly and politely. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Dragonfruit tea with peach boba - 5 stars Korean fried chicken - 5 stars - meaty and moderately spicy Seafood pho - 4 stars - large mussels, shrimps, and scallops, nicely cooked noodles, and decent broth Teriyaki-chicken vermicelli - 4 stars - My husband ate this entree and liked it. The chicken was tender and had a very good flavor. Macaron and ice cream - 5 stars - This dessert looked magnificent! In addition to several small macarons in different flavors and vanilla ice cream, it also contained pocky and lady fingers.

So, the pho was too good not to eat so my food did not eat first - I did. It was worth it from the amount of broth to the actual fixings in the bowl. It was a good ratio and I didn't want to stop! Additionally, Yoshi's smile was so radiant that it brightened up the place. He was kind and so patient with our questions about the different boba teas and options. Not only did Yoshi's smile brighten the place but the decor did, too. It felt welcoming and had a good vibe. Can't wait to return during the cold months for some top tier pho!

This is a great spot that I would recommend checking out! The short rib pho and shrimp hibachi rice were delicious and came in massive portions. The service was also excellent. Our server, Yoshi, was fantastic and made for an excellent experience! My in-laws had gone a couple months ago and Yoshi remembered them when they came in again with my husband on Thursday night! So sweet and thoughtful. They loved the pho and will be back. Definitely a must try in the burg.

We spotted this place coming in from the Bay California, and was really excited to see somewhere rated so highly! And this place definitely did not disappoint everything from service ambience and the food was absolutely delicious. Reminded us just of home. Highly recommend getting the spring rolls and the Pho! Yoshi- thank you for your amazing service!!!

This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the friendly, smiling staff made us feel so welcome, making our birthday lunch truly special. We can't wait to come back! Our party of 4 each had a pho prime beef sharing a Prime Beef Short Ribs. The pho broth was clear and by far the best I've had in a while. And the short ribs were tender and perfectly flavored. As we settled in around 11:30 am, the lunch crowd started to swell, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere. Among our fellow diners, one table brought along some BYOB wine, adding a touch of celebration to the scene. You definitely need to check out this spot - it's a hidden gem worth discovering!

Love the Himalayan salt candle and the pho was very fresh

Great people, great food, beautiful lighting and Himalayan salt candles at the table, and of course fresh food! I found this place on Yelp while looking for a local restaurant that has pho on a chilly evening. The male staff who answered the phone when I called was very kind. This place is one of those that just has a relaxing and kind vibe all-around. Make sure to visit the Fantas-Tea Boba shop right next door! Great combination. I ordered: Prime Beef Pho (eye round steak and brisket -- my 2 favorites!), added the edamame into the pho on a whim, Classic Thai Milk Tea from next door, and of course Sriracha and Hoisin for the meat!

First time trying this place! I had been next door to their bubble tea shop and it was a 10/10 so I figured their restaurant would be phenomenal as well- and it was! We started off with the spring rolls which our waiter "Yoshi" (i believe that's his name) recommended, they were very fresh and delicious. For my meal I got their lunch silk tofu Pho, the portions are huge and it was only $12 on the lunch menu. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The inside has dim lighting, it doesn't feel fancy and stiff. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing while enjoying your food. Great place to meet friends or family. All the staff there were very pleasant and our waiter was great at explaining the menu to us. Overall, 5 stars and I will definitely be coming back to try more things on their menu.

What an absolute delight. Went on a random Wednesday night with low-ish expectations and had the BEST surprise date night. This place is too good to be on Route 8, haha. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable AND they give you hot towels when you arrive...the luxury! What we ordered: (didn't get photos of everything) - Spring Rolls - Short Ribs - Kimchi (regular & radish) - Beef Bulgogi - Vietnamese coffee Can't wait to go back to try the pho... we were too full to give it a go!

Spicy pork vermicelli

Have been back many times, mostly lunch but also dinner. The food is consistently AMAZING!! So much attention to detail. Every dish is seasoned well. With attention to different textures and colors. With appropriate sauce to food ratio. Good protein to vegetable to noodle ratio. These folks at absolutely top notch!! They care about putting out wonderful food and they care about their customers. The food is so excellent!! Every time. Portions are generous. Prime beef pho- one of the best pho's per the children who are Pho fanatics. Generous portions. Excellent broth. Good protein. Appropriate mix of sprouts and herbs. 5/5 Spicy pork vermicelli- excellent. Well seasoned. Comes with the surprise spring roll in it. Let me tell you-the spring roll was a shocker-absolute perfection!! Savory, crispy. Just a few bites of perfection!!! Great sauce. Lots of vegetables. Good protein. 5/5 Bulgogi vermicelli-amazing!!! Excellent flavor to the bulgogi. Tender. Well seasoned. Great protein to noodle to vegetable to sauce ratio. Lots of vegetable with their crunch. Good contrast to the tender and flavorful bulgogi. One of my absolute favorites! 10/5 also has the little bonus spring roll!!! Bulgogi hibachi noodle 5/5 per person eating it. Shrimp fried rice 5/5 due to the special sauce. The Vietnamese portion of the menu is authentic. And shockingly well executed. Excellent spring rolls! (Apparently hard to find in Pittsburgh!). But this restaurant does an amazing job. Excellent, just beautifully prepared and delicious food. So much attention to detail. Every single time. Kind staff. Every single time. Highly recommend. 10/5 A must try restaurant. You'll be hooked! Also--.prices are as is if you use cash. Small credit card fee. (Which seems to be more common now a days.). Extra charge if you get a regular to go box-- $1 per box. Lunch prices are very modest for what you get. Great value. Dinner is a little pricey.

I'm really sad to only be giving this place 3 stars. I had some high hopes especially given the other great reviews. Actually tried to go a couple weeks ago and it was packed (another really positive sign). So pushed it off till now. All that is to say, I plan on coming back for another try. Because there's a lot to like about Pho Ever More. The service is awesome. Super friendly and attentive. The setting is clean, and wonderfully decorated. The tables attractive, no table cloths needed. Place settings include linen napkins, and a hot towel is brought to you when you're seated. So again, if just based on service and ambiance, this is five stars. Where it fell short was the food itself. And again, I plan on coming back because I wonder if my expectations were just too high. The pancake was like a cornmeal texture vs a traditional Korean kimchi pancake. I later found out it was a mungbean batter. But even with that, there was almost no kimchi in the actual kimchi pancake. Side note, the menu is probably 75% Korean rather than classic Pho / Vietnamese. A strange but pleasant surprise. As for the pho, the broth wasn't bad. But it lacked the richness of a bone broth that had been cooking for hours and hours. And then add to that, the noodles were cut! I have to say this really threw me. Cut noodles especially in Asian soups feels like such a faux pas. And it makes it really hard to eat. I want to pull the long noodles from the broth and rest them into my spoon. You just can't when they're cut. On the upside there was a ton of beef in the pho and everything else was as expected. So again, I really wanted to love this place. And I'll hopefully get a chance to update the review on another trip, given how much everyone else seems to like it.

Korean Tacos and Prime Beef Pho

When you walk in, this place is NICE. I was a little concerned because I've never had pho in a place this well appointed. The best pho is usually what some would consider a "hole-in-the-wall", but I stand corrected and I'll get to that. When I got to the menu I was concerned again, there are only 5 types of pho: tofu, lobster ball, chicken, beef, seafood or crawfish. I've never been to a pho spot without a couple pages of options including things like tripe. I usually order mine with rare beef. What the heck though, I'm here so I ordered the "Prime Beef Pho" with eye round steak and brisket. I immediately tasted the piping hot broth and OH MY GOSH. It was incredible! While I love pho, my husband loves vermicelli bowls with a good helping of fish sauce. He's always gotten a combination vermicelli bowl, but again - this was not an option so he tried the pork. His remarks on food usually span from "it was okay" to "let's come back". He took a bite of his food and he said, "this might be the best vermicelli bowl I've ever had, I might have dreams about this." They've been open for 3 weeks and are dealing with understaffing issues, but the staff that's there is extremely respectful and kind. Food was slower than you'd probably hope for, which also increased anticipation and fear that it wouldn't be good, but it was by far not a bad wait and BOY WAS IT WORTH IT! I think speed of food coming out is only going to get better and truthfully, it could've been way worse. We also tried the Korean Spicy Fried Chicken and Chicken Kebabs (for our two young kids). Both were incredible. The spicy fried chicken is literally an order of wings drenched in this amazing spicy sauce. PHO ETIQUETTE: I'm by far not the politest pho eater as I often bite my noodles. I'm also not an expert, but was taught by my friend Triep whom grew up in Vietnam. Here's the just of it: Spoon in non-dominant hand, chopsticks (or fork) in dominant hand. Taste your broth before adding to it, as broth is the true test of a good pho (theirs is PERFECT). Add the fixings you'd like to your broth. I give a good squirt of hoisin, a touch of sriracha, squeeze the lime in (don't put the lime in the bowl, just squeeze it), tear up the basil on top. Use the spoon for the broth and the chopsticks for the meat and noodles. Keep your head near the bowl and it's common to slurp your noodles quietly. Don't leave your chopsticks in your bowl when you're not using them. There's more and varying etiquette, but this will get you by if you've never had pho. Now go enjoy some delicious pho here so that they can stay put because this is a FANTASTIC addition to our community!!

This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.

Unfortunately, my experience was not great...not totally awful, but there is lots of room for improvement. I stopped in around 1:00 on a Saturday, and it was still kind of hard to park in their tiny lot. To a person, the staff all seemed annoyed to be there, and that kind of flavored my experience. They have lots of interesting items on their menu for a BBQ place - pork buns, etc. - but for my first meal I went with the basics. I ordered a brisket sandwich, the mac-n-cheese, and a coke. I was given a number to put on my table, and then sat down. The sandwich was soon delivered, but no side. When I asked about my mac-n-cheese I was told "it's coming later" in a less than friendly tone. The brisket was a bit dry and chewy, and there was nothing else on the sandwich. The mac-n-cheese was far less impressive. This was not a scoop of grandma's baked goodness, but something more institutional...basically boiled pasta with a bland and watery sauce. Everyone can have a bad day, so I will likely give Mitch's another shot, but I was not happy during my first visit.

In the past couple of years, I have ordered food from JJ Panda several times. For all orders, the restaurant promptly cooked my foods, and the time between my orders and deliveries was 24-30 minutes on weekend days. Overall, I think that this restaurant serves typical Americanized Chinese foods. Here are my reviews for the foods from all orders: Cream Cheese Wonton - 4.5 stars - Six wontons had a crispy dumpling and a tasty cheese filling. Chicken on a Stick - 4.5 stars - This appetizer consisted of four American-style kabobs that were different than we had expected. Chunks of meat were very tender and juicy and were on a stick with chunks of green peppers and onions. Chashao Bao - 4 stars - Three BBQ pork buns consisted of fluffy dough that was filled with a good amount of tasty BBQ pork. General Tso's Chicken - 3 stars - I had requested a spiciness of medium, but it actually tasted mild. The meat seemed to be mostly dark and slightly tough. On the side were white rice that was steamed perfectly and an egg roll that was large, had a crispy exterior, and a flavorful filling. Chicken with Broccoli - 4.5 stars - The meat was juicy, the broccoli was fresh, and the sauce was flavorful. On the side were fried rice, which my husband liked but said that he would prefer to not contain peas and carrots, and an egg roll. Chicken Lo Mein - 4 stars - My husband ate this entree. He described it as "good." Beef Lo Mein - 4 stars - My husband ate this entree and said that it was good. Vegetable Roll - 4.5 stars - This vegetable roll had a crispy outer wrapper and tasty shredded vegetables inside. Shrimp Egg Roll - 4 stars - This egg roll had a crispy outer wrapper and lots of fresh vegetables and some shrimp inside. Vegetable Soup - 4.5 stars - This soup contained mushrooms, celery, broccoli, peas, and green peppers. These vegetables were fresh and healthy. Stir Fried Vegetable Ramen - 3.5 stars - I thought that I had ordered the Vegetables Ramen Soup that was right next to this other entree in the menu. Oops! This entree contained no broth. It contained many noodles and some fresh peas, carrots, broccoli, and other vegetables. Vegetable Ramen Soup - 3 stars - I finally ordered what I intended to order. I felt surprised that the noodles were not typical ramen noodles. The noodles looked more like Italian pasta noodles. Furthermore, the broth had a very mild flavor and could use more seasoning. Mixed Vegetables - 4 stars - The vegetables were very fresh, were cooked very well, and had a flavorful sauce. Specific vegetables included broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, corn, pea shoots, I think bok choy and water chestnuts. Broccoli with Garlic Sauce - 4 stars - This entree was supposed to be "Medium hot," but it tasted mild to me. Sweet and Sour Shrimp - 3.5 stars - Several large shrimps had a crispy outer breading. Sauce was on the side. Chicken fried rice - 4 stars - My husband ate this entree, and he said that he liked it. He appreciated that the cook left out the peas and carrots as requested. Orange chicken - 3 stars - The chicken meat was tender, and the sauce tasted good, but the breading was very soggy. The breading either fell off on its own, or I pulled it off to avoid eating it. Sesame balls - 4 stars - These sesame balls contained a red-bean paste that tasted very good. My husband and I thought that these sesame balls were crispier than other restaurants' sesame balls.
