PHO! Always delicious! The restaurant is located in a strip mall. Inside is nice and CLEAN. I usually order at the counter and then take a seat anywhere. I would call this restaurant American Pho Ha. Perfect for everyone. Kind of like what Don Jose is to Mexican food. The bowls are really large. I usually share one bowl and order one or small two side orders to share. My husband, I and our daughter came here for dinner. I had the rare steak pho and my husband had the bbq shrimp dish. My first complaint is that our food did not arrive at the same time, in fact my pho arrived almost a half an hour before my husbands shrimp did. The second complaint I have is that the staff barley speaks English, there was a few moments in our visit were neither we or the waiter knew what the other was saying. This quickly got frustrating to me Thirdly, my husband shrimp dish literally only had 5 shrimp, the rest was broccoli and rice. The meat in my pho was almost only fat. I had a plate on the side that I filled with fat. Lastly, every single employee I encountered seemed to be rude. As if they were annoyed that I was there. 0 stars for business ethic. Restaurants are a service related industry, if you guys have a power outage, please tell your customers when they enter. Do not seat your customers and let them sit for 10 minutes and then tell them you can't take the order because of the same issue prior to them walking in. The pho is decent, but Vietnamese people like me can tell the broth was not maturated for the amount of time it should be to be considered "real authentic" pho. I am happy to be able to give Pho Ha - Riverside a 4 star review, after the terrible, less than 1 star service we received at Pho Ha - San Bernardino. Pho Ha - Riverside was a clean space with friendly service. The food was delicious. My partner had Bun Bo Hue, a spicy noodle soup from the central region of Vietnam. He really liked the broth, the fancy pork, and the authentic spiciness of the overall dish. I had mixed vegetables over noodles which was far superior to what was delivered at Pho Ha SB. My only complaint was the excessive gravy on the dish, but I will know to ask for less on our next visit. Always looking for good authentic Vietnamese food we are happy to have tried Pho Ha Riverside.
