Came back to this restaurant this past weekend and glad their food quality and taste is better. Well, probably also helps that we dined in as our past to-go order (according to my last review) was not great. Though I know we've stopped in before this past weekend so the taste of the food is back up and tasty again. Kids got Pho #11 (rare steak and lean brisket) and said it was good. I thoroughly enjoyed my tasty again #25 BBQ pork, shredded pork, and baked egg rice dish. I always ask for regular steamed rice instead of the broken rice because I think the broken rice is a bit harder. -The floor was a little dirty by different empty tables but it was a Saturday evening so I guess that's a sign they've been busy and we were able to overlook that. read more

PHO HA @ RIVERSIDE A place that was opened pretty late, there is parking available out front and is free. We got seated immediately and was handed the menus. There was all sorts of food, such as their most popular, Pho, Rice Dishes, and more. We decided to get their spring rolls and a bowl of their pho, getting the full combo, as well as a Lychee Fruit Tea with Boba. The pho was decent, there was so much meat, flavorful, and the veggies (mint and lemon) they gave to us was plenty and clean. The spring rolls were okay, i've definitely had better, the meat selection was very thin, and the peanut butter sauce tasted like straight hoisin sauce, I definitely wished it had more of that Peanut taste. The boba was A MISS, extremely street, full of just straight syrup and sugar. Do not recommend this. The food was good. The only downside for me was the Goi Cuon, it didn't have enough noodles. I tasted more vegetables than anything. The egg rolls were good perfectly cooked. Even their peanut sauce had a twist to it that I enjoyed. Service was very fast, ordering felt a bit rushed, but didn't bother me too much being served quickly offset that The place is nice. One of my friends received the wrong meal and when we asked for a different dish they said it would be out in 2 minutes. We waited for 25 minutes and it never arrived, and they tried to still charge us for both meals even tho one was untouched and the other was not received. I found this Pho Ha nearby so I called and placed my order for pick-up... 1 Pho Dac Biet and 1 Beef Chow Mein crispy. It was about 30 mins before closing time. When I got here, there was only one table of customers. Wow, this is probably the most fanciest pho place I have ever been at. The number 11 is raw steak and fatty brisket. The food comes out made to order so you know you're getting a very fresh meal. The broth came out super steaming hot as well as the egg rolls. The egg rolls were super delish. Like most Vietnamese restaurants, the service wasn't the best but that's a sure sign that the food will hit. This is my go to Vietnamese restaurants in Riverside over any other, been coming here for the last decade. I had to come back and do an update. My original review was four or five stars. Thought I found a place that I could make a favorite. After my most recent experience, it was one of the worst customer service situations I've encountered. Although the other staff were nice, one particular lady who is younger and wears glasses had a very bad attitude. Not only to us but to other guest also. I definitely won't be back. She was rude from the moment she walked up until the moment we asked for to-go containers. This was my first time at this Pho Ha location and it did not disappoint! I came here on a meatless Monday and ordered the veggie pho, with veggie broth. The broth was surprisingly delicious, possibly the best veggie pho I've ever had (to be fair I've only had it a handful of times). But it's full of flavor and still contains most of the traditional flavors that I'm used to in regular beef pho; the spices are apparent and the broth was even a little spicy! I was there on Sunday 11/26/2023 and there was a "young" man at the front who although informative he was extremely rude. We've been coming to this particular Pho Ha for decades. It's our family's comfort-food, whether it's Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter. Their food is consistently delicious. We have gone through the whole menu several times already and have enjoyed every dish they offer; most especially #51(salt&pepper shrimp), #45(spring rolls), #61(stir fry beef w/vermicelli), #25&26(BBQ pork w/broken rice &egg&shredded pork), #39(diced steak/ com bo luc lac), #68(stir fry crispy egg noodles w/chicken,shrimp,pork); along with a variety of Pho noodle bowls----oh soooooo GOOD. ;) PS: don't come here looking for great customer service. My bf got the bbq pork and vermicelli. A small salad with lettuce and english cucumber. A small bowl of broth that tasted like pho broth. He LOVED his pork. He didn't eat anything else bc he is picky. But I know it was all good. I ordered rare beef pho and shrimp/pork spring rolls. Yum! My only complaint is if I order rare my beef comes rare on the side not in my soup cooked. If you don't order immediately you can wait until they decide to come back. They otherwise come to your table fast when you are seated. They don't check on you after you are served your food. It's very clean here. It's not very friendly. Terrible waitress with the big glasses and wonky eyes...also the young boy. They were RUDE and only came to our table to take our order and bring the food. I had a huge tip prepared because it is the holidays but they don't deserve it. They were sitting talking to each other and massaging each other and completely ignoring the customers.
