Probably one of the best pho places in Riverside. The service is pretty quick, they get your order and food out fast so you can enjoy your meal. One of the best dishes is probably the Com tam thit tau hu ky. It isn't on the menu or maybe it is, but they're pretty good at making it and I really enjoy it. Everytime my friend goes here he'll have it and he probably comes here about once a week. Yes, it's a pho shop. No, I didn't get pho. I rarely ever get pho when eating at a Vietnamese restaurant. Instead, I got my usual: Bún ch-- vermicelli noodles, grilled pork, and an egg roll. In a nutshell, the dish sucked. If you want to long version of my review: 1. The grilled (or charbroiled) pork was neither grilled or charbroiled. I think it was cooked quickly in a wok. 2. The egg roll cost an extra buck. So not worth it. The egg roll had barely any filling in it; it was mostly fried egg wrapper. 3. The ratio between vermicelli, pork, greens, and bean sprouts: 70% bean sprouts: 30% everything else (barely any lettuce or fresh herbs). That's how cheap-ass places cut corners in their dishes. 4. Poorly cooked vermicelli noodles: super-skinny noodles that were hard and clumped together. No bueno! 5.. Old/expired sriracha and sambal. Yes, I should've gotten pho. And no, I won't be coming back to try it. read more

Dig the price - large for 5.95? Killer price, right there. Their #1 is good - I like to put a little mix of siracha and the oyster sauce on each bite. Their broth is pretty good, but I think they're still a little light on something - the place is a LITTLE inconsistent as well, sometimes I get something great, sometimes it'll be alright, and sometimes it's just meh. I don't want to bore you with another Pho review because as fellow Yelpers have mention, the Pho here is quite decent. Tasty and filling. But don't be fooled, it is also loaded with MSG. The Goi Cuon is pretty good too. You can choose between veggie, pork and shrimp. It might already be pre-rolled because we asked for no spring onions but it was still rolled with it. I wouldn't recommend the Che Ba Mau (3 bean dessert/ Rainbow drink). The beans were ice cold- kinda sorta frozen. But if you need a little booster, order the Ca Phe Sua Da (Iced Milk Coffee). Umm, the sweetened condensed milk + Coffee =) I really want to give Pho Ha 4 stars, but I don't mind having to drive out to Westminster/ Garden Grove for some really good Vietnamese food! read more

OH NO. Someone tell me why their business photo is of a map? SMH. Now, I understand that it is summer in Riverside and it was probably about 90 something degrees the afternoon that Steve D. and I arrived, but let's be real...when you gotta have it...you GOTTA have it. ;] We walked in on a Sunday at about 5pm. From the look of some of the tables, a very large group had left...a very big mess. Otherwise, it was pretty empty, with many tables available for seating. Not to sound racist or anything, but when our waiter came by to seat us, I was shocked he spoke perfect English. I guess I'm not accustomed to hearing a non-accented person in an Asian establishment. O.o He told us to sit anywhere and we opted for a table where we could watch the television, which had football highlights on it from the weekend. Oh yes, that was a major plus in my book! Ordered Pho #9. Rare Steak, Flank, and Brisket. MmmmMmmmm, my favorite in any pho place. The broth was pretty good - not too oily, which is sadly something I have encountered before. I could've gone for more meat, but considering the price (~$6 for a medium bowl), I can't complain. Overall, not bad, but could use a bit of improvement. Closer to 3.5 stars, really. I'd like to go back and try out some of the plates they had. I must've looked prettttttty strange examining everyone's plate as we walked out. Everything looked absolutely deliciousssss. After reading the reviews, I completely agree... Broth is one of the best I have had... Meat quality was very good... Service was ehhh. They didn't understand my order and never once refilled my water... The place wasn't busy.. The workers just sat in the middle table talking... A few employees were eating, but the service brought down the star rating. Spring rolls were also fresh and light. I wish I could give 4 stars for food and 2 for service. read more

When I was going to college in riverside, I use to miss eating vietnamese food alot so this is the closest one to my school and yes it is just right next to tyler mall. Everyday for lunch me and my friends would decide where to go for lunch from vietnamese, chinese, thailand, korean, Indian, etc The pho isn't that but it is better then nothing. The bun was alot better w/the shrimp, bbq pork and a fried egg. This place serves really great Vietnamese food on par with what you can get in Westminster and the prices are so reasonable. My absolute favorite is the the Beef Stew Pho. I always order the large and it comes out piping hot. There are huge chunks of beef swimming in it and the deep red broth/stew is so wonderful! Everytime I eat it I'm always trying to figure out what type of seasonings they put in it because it tastes so unique. The waiters/waitresses at this place aren't the friendliest, but I've learned over the years eating at Pho places is that just how it is! Late night looking around for an open PHO place and found this lil gem. We walked in and it looked well kept clean and most importantly open late on a Saturday night right across the Tyler mall. Ordered for a family of 4 and let me say the food was FRESH and great tasting! Then as we continued to eat we found ourself grabbing the attention of the waiters quiet frequently needing refills! Wow what horrible service! All the cooks that prep the food bring the food out and let me tell you this don't try talking to them they won't talk! It's like if we were foreign. You ask them for something they will turn around and walk off! Other then that if you like to dine in and don't need frequent service this is a great place for you! I was here around 7:00pm we sat down, ordered our food and didn't get it till 7:25. 3 different parties that came in after we did got their food before we did. Place was good, but I've had better. I have gone twice, the first time was pretty good and great service since its always full with people and we went with a group of about 8 people. The second time I went it wasn't as great. My Food was good, but the order my gf ordered wasn't what we expected. I have searched high and low, near and far, for the best thai tea boba and i found it here. Im giving this a 5 star based on their thai iced tea with boba. Its mixed just right, not too sweet, and the boba is made fresh in the morning (not the hard sticky leftover kind). Food wise 4-5 stars. Customer service is 2-3 for me. But that thai tea... is a MUST for you to get here. I think they caught on because everyone orders them now and the price is more than $4 for the regular size. But trust me!! This place is so good!! I got the seafood pho and a pineapple smoothie with boba and they were delicious! This is the only place I want to get smoothies from now because it was so good! It saddens me to write this review as I have been coming to eat at this restaurant since they opened(almost 15 years). Their service was never the best but most recently has become horrible. We ordered food tonight and the dish was served to a family across the restaurant. After the family had served food on their plates and realized the food was not what they ordered and put it back, the server proceeded to take the same dish and drop it at our table like the other family had not eaten from it. We sent it back and explained the situation. A man working behind the counter told us that they were going to make the dish again and bring it to us. Less than 5 minutes later a plate of chicken was dropped at our table. Cold. They served us the same dish and lied to us that it had been remade. After all of this at least half an hour had gone by and one person from our table did not have food. We had to order again because they forgot. When we went to pay they told us the price of our meal. It was an amount far higher than normal(we order the same meal every time we come). We asked for a receipt and the man did not want to give us one. When he finally gave us one they had been charging us for more than we ordered. Extremely disappointed and will never come back after how rude they were when we told them. I've been to other places around town and they're either stingy with the food or it was oddly greasy. But oh my goodness! I would be down anytime to eat here!
