I have ordered 3 items 2 being ramens and 1 short korean bbq ribs. Ramens were 2.5/5 nothing impressive about them, but they were edible with a reasonable price of 10-12$ each. HOWEVER, things are different with that horrific bbq ribs. Oh dear it was like they had that thing in fridge for months now, not cooked well, and it was 25$ LOL. 25$ dollars dish for that crap . Ok Pho, I've had better in Westminster haha, but then again Westminster is known for their vietnamese food so I guess I shouldn't compare eh? The great thing about this place is they give you a free boba milk tea with your meal,and it's GOOD too! I really love pho but don't get to eat it often because I'm at school in LA with no car, and there are hardly any places around here. But everytime I'm in the area or crave pho, I need to come here. Sure, it's not the most authentic Vietnamese pho because it's Korean owned, but I love the flavor here, it's a great price, and you know it's always consistent. The entire staff is super nice, and you can just tell them the item you want by saying the number on the menu. I usually just get the small bowl of rare steak or meatball pho. I love to eat, but I can barely finish the small; the portions are huge! You can't go wrong with a delicious $5 bowl of pho. I've tried the vermicelli here, it's good, but lately I've seen that the meat portion has gotten smaller? Maybe it was just that one time. Anything that's not pho is more expensive, about 2-3 dollars more. I also tried the kimchi fried rice, which wasn't that special. They give you a small cup of boba free of charge. I'm not a avid boba fan, but it's very refreshing and different! Stick with the pho and you'll be very happy. read more

Came here for lunch. I had great service, the food was inexpensive and they have free WiFi! I even got a free boba drink (see picture). Pho Hana has been around for a while. They make a nice clean broth and the large serving especially is generous. Relative to a couple of the other pho spots in Diamond Bar they're still pretty reasonable price wise. The service here is usually pretty friendly. They rarely get my order wrong, unlike the other places that seem to always mess it up (I just want half noodles and no bean sprouts! Not that complicated lol). I used to come here very frequently with my mom after school during my high school career. Their pho is pretty good for the price you pay, plus you get free boba! Although I wish that they gave you more meat, but that's just me. Staff are very nice and friendly; I always make sure to tip them well. Plenty of seating and very clean. Mainly I love this place for the memories, coming here at least two or three times a week after school with my late mother and telling each other about our days. Pretty good spot to come for some pho, which I only get when hungover twice a year lol place is clean and they gave me a free coffee. Other than that, it's Korean owned so no one ever came to my table to ask how I was doing or filled my water, which I'm also used to being Korean myself; you have to ask for it if you want it. Always, always a good time here! The servers are a bit timid, but they get you what you want and need. I haven't been back here in ages (since high school) but everything has remained the same. The same Hispanic/White server is still working here, the broth is still tasty and the portions and prices are consistent to before. They still have the boba too! Five stars! You have to get their pho and pair it with their egg rolls - bombb! They have different pho sizes here too, which is why I always relish dinning here. No one is a five to me, ever. But Pho Hana is definitely a five. I've been coming here for 4 years now, and I have never had a problem with the food or the service. Staff is always friendly, and they always welcome us with a smile. The food is good too. I've been coming to Pho Hana for YEARS and I am an indefinite fan. I have never been disappointed, I love the broth of their beef pho, I know some don't enjoy it cause of the herbaceous flavor but to me it's spot on. The one thing I absolutely LOVE about this place though is how piping HOT the soup comes out at. I always order the #2, which is the beef I Pho with all the fixings: raw meat, tendon, tripe, brisket and cilantro and onions. I then ask for extra onions on the side and to have the bean sprouts that they bring out with the soup, to be cooked/steamed (it keeps the soup hotter - yum!) It also is pretty awesome how since I come here so often the servers already know my order (lol) oh and the free complimentary boba drink when you're dining in is always a sweet treat! I came here with my family, and they all seemed to enjoy their food. We were greeted and seated promptly--good so far. I got their veggie pho, thankfully it was made with vegetable broth. For taste, no matter how much pho I had, I cannot say for sure whether it tastes authentic or not, but I am sure this was not authentic lol. I am not saying this in a bad way, just as a statement. Their pho was nice because it was light and not overly salty or oily. I really enjoyed the flavors of the vegetable broth. All of our food came out quickly, and the amount of food given was also a great plus factor. My family all liked their pho too because of the clean taste. It may also be because the restaurant is owned by Koreans and my family is Korean so it suits their tastebuds better haha. They also give you a small cup of milk tea which was surprisingly good. I love their milk tea from here. It is rather sweet, but if you wait for the ice to melt a bit then it tastes perfect. I found this place through yelp. It was nice to have found a pho restaurant in the DB area, but the quality convinces that it might as well have stayed hidden. It's not really their fault, but the plaza it's in is under construction so it is difficult to find. I had to call several times for directions, and the lady had me so confused I ended up driving up and down Diamond Bar Blvd several times. I was not too happy. Especially now, because the noodles in my to-go order of pho are congealing and the broth is getting cold. When I finally arrived at the place, I was taken aback. Who was their decorator? I felt like I was in a chinese/korean restaurant from the 60s strewn with random christmas lights, an akwardly placed table right in front of the cash register (I think my ass was up against some guy's back, my bad), with a menu that was as misunderstood as the woman who gave me directions. She was polite however and kept apologizing for the poor directions, which I think I would've had better luck finding the place via water (pho broth) dowsing. The pho is nothing out of the ordinary, perhaps because I ended up eating it luke warm. But the broth is just like any other korean-owned pho place, bland. Ask for extra hoisin and sriracha sauce, because you'll need it. read more

I absolutely LOVE pho; to the point where I search for a pho place at every city I visit (let's just say that I had reservations to Per Se, in New York, but I was so hungover from the night before and canceled my reservation to try mediocre pho in Ktown). Yes, that's how much I love pho. I tried Pho Hana last year and vowed to myself that I would never eat here again. Why? The broth is really sweet and I had to tweak it by adding 10 limes, which only made it sweet and bitter. The noodle was too soft and broke easily. Last month, my friends and I were craving pho and were in Diamond Bar so we decided to go to Pho Hana. Yeah, the pho was still the same as last year. Too sweet. This used to be my goto Pho' spot but I've been straying away from them since I'm a little further away now. I've never really had a bad experience with the food or service from this place, usually very consistent with everything. Every type of Pho' or soup I've tried has never disappointed. Broth is always hot and flavorfull, and noodles are never hard or mushy. I also like how they give you an extra small bowl of broth when you tell them you're going to share a bowl. The other dishes were pretty good as well, Vermicelli being my favorite. To top it off, I like the free small boba milk tea at the end of your meal. The service is always quick at this place. The servers, who seem to ALWAYS be working, are very prompt and attentive. Even when there's a wait to be seated, they usually get people out of there real fast. The only downside with this place is the smell. It probably has the strongest Vietnamese restaurant scent in Southern California. Try not to wear your favorite outfit here, if you're inside for more than 3 minutes.. you're probably going to smell like Pho' for the rest of the day. haha After a satisfying bowl of Pho', don't forget to stop by next door to Rite Aid to get a scoop of the best icecream in the world! ;) read more

Went here today for a staff lunch and overall my review mirrors a lot of the others on here. I was impressed with the prices for what you get. Loved the mini boba drink they bring with your meal. I know the light broth is preferred by Koreans, but it was a little bland for my taste. I know, I know... typical American raised on over-salted food. While going to H-Mart, we stopped in for some pho. I was hoping it'd be good, but it really was lacking in most aspects. The pho broth was a little bland and salty, if that makes sense. It was lacking that clove/cilantro/onion flavor, and seemed as if too much salt was added. I had the vermicelli beef bowl. It was really mneh. The only part I liked was the egg roll, which was actually quite good! The quantity of meat was pretty small, the amount of vermicelli was overwhelming, and the fish sauce was overly salty. The food taste as good as I remembered. I used to come here quite often because I worked nearby. Rare beef is my go to Pho here. Extra onion, no cilantro, no jalapeño. Also, their kid sized cup of for free Boba always make me smile a little. Service is always great here, which is a plus. The servers are attentive and they move fast. Seems like no matter how busy this place gets, I can always expect to get my food within 5-10 minutes. #5 small with extra limes please! This is my favorite pho place in Diamond Bar. A lot of people complain about it because it is more Korean than Vietnamese but I have been eating here for years and I am really used to this taste, even if it is not authentic. The food is delicious, service is good, and the price is amazing. BEST PART IS THE FREE SMALL CUP OF BOBA! Because of this, my friends and I have been referring to this place as PHOBA (PHO + BOBA)! Korean style pho! Soup is good in my opinion.. Good prices and free boba milk tea at the end of your meal! They recently renovated the place so its pretty spacious compared to years ago. Workers are cool and if you come enough they remember what you like haha thought that was cool. They also have other dishes that are also pretty good.
