Pho Hot was A-OK. I got take out - they do a good job packaging take out so you don't lose that 'customization' feeling. The broth is a bit weak. Needs to be heavily doctored up, and relies heavily on the fatty meat to give it any additional richness. But very well priced, so if you are OK with compromising taste for price, then check this place out. Although I was take out, the restaurant was clean and casual. Private parking lot, but note that parking lot can get very crowded during a business week day. read more

Incredible! Just popped into this place after the DMV (close by/walkable) and it's incredible! Reasonable and delicious and very clean tasting. Also, the vine in here is really good. I'm Vietnamese, so this is a review from a Vietnamese point of view, not some cruddy no-nothing point of view...which I've seen from people who clearly are used to Korean pho or some other gross-ness. This is an excellent joint. I knew it when i passed by when i was returning from IKEA. You can just tell if you're Vietnamese--the signage, the tables--even if you're going 45 miles an our. So i decided to do a U turn. Me and Wife both got the small pho dac biet. Great signs: The meat was tender. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful (places that cater to Koreans or white people usually skimp on the veg). The noodles were chewy and fresh, not reconstituted. The broth is a bit sweet for my taste. But it is clear. And filled with a lot of flavor. I will stop here whenever I go to that hell-hole called IKEA. It's really rare to find a decent pho place. I got vermicelli with beef. And spring rolls withs pork. The vermicelli is very disappointing tonight. It's lacking in flavor. Did they change the meat supply? Soooo many bean sprouts, a few strips of lettuce and a few cucumbers. I find it very disappointing that they are bulking it out with fillers. I'm going to eat this as I add as many sauces to spice it up and make it flavorful but I don't think I'll order this again. So bummed out, because the staff are so nice and welcoming. read more

A solid Pho spot. It's a medium sized restaurant that gets packed fast. The waiters were really nice, but stretched thin. The noodle soups come generously with a lot of meat. Only one thing, I wish the soup had a deeper beefier flavor. The pork sausage roll is pretty tasty. A big plus is that there was a kid's sized pho. Thank the Lord I did not have to share my own because I inhaled mine! Plenty of parking if you go during dinner time as other businesses are usually closed by then. read more

I decided to try Pho Hot and I am giving it two stars as I found that I really don't like Vietnamese Food. But, the real reason is, that my Wife accompanied me and she ordered a dish and forgot to ask if they put MSG in the food. Well the food came quickly and my wife asked the Waiter about the MSG and he said they put in all their food for flavor and my Wife said she was allergic to the MSG and couldn't eat it and asked to have the dish returned to the kitchen. The Waiter mentioned that they had another dish without msg and left. I ate my food which was okay, but not to my liking and my Wife sat there with no food and 10-15 minutes went by. I asked the Waiter where my Wife's food was anf and he indicated that he didn't know she wanted it, which we were both shocked by. Not okay. We won't be going there again. read more

Flavor-wise, it was good, though not quite as memorable as their pho -- I found myself missing that comforting bowl of noodles I usually go for. Still, it's a nice alternative if you're in the mood for something different from soup. Service here is always quick and efficient, and the restaurant has plenty of seating without ever feeling too loud. Excellent customer service, very friendly too. I went in and one of the workers are actually my boyfriend's best friend. I sat and ordered a pho tai with separated beef which I prefer because the beef is very chewy and I love it. The wait wasn't expectedly that long but it was just a few 5-10 minutes which is ok I guess. My bf ordered a vietnamese sandwich and it looks amazing. The price is affordable and I cannot express how happy I was. We will be coming back. read more

Worth the drive from my house! The best pho closest to me! Prices are more than reasonable and everything is fresh. Dining room is so clean and the staff is really pleasant. Ever since I first tried pho I keep looking around for the best place and I seem to keep stopping by here. I think it's my favorite one besides the really premium places in West Hollywood. Pho Hut in Glendale is definitely one of the best pho spots I've tried! The broth is rich and flavorful, the portions are generous, and everything tastes really fresh. Glad this place opened(: Around Glendale doesn't have much vietnamese restaurants. Good food, price is decent. It's better than pho hut. The portion can be a little bit more. Very friendly environment. Will be back. Definitely recommended. At least try it. The parking is my only complaint is the parking spaces. read more

I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was in this establishment several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they only had lunch specials available from Monday - Friday at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is non existent. You will have to find street parking or local parking garages. Make sure to read the street signs well before parking. I saw someone get a ticket while walking to the restaurant. It also comes with some popular Vietnamese veggies like lettuce, daikon radish, and pickled carrots. The chicken itself was soft, tender, and flavorful. Truthfully, this dish was mid compared to that of the shaken beef garlic noodles. It was also a pretty hefty portion of food. The shaken beef garlic noodles were hella fire. You would be remiss if you didn't order this, y'all. That's like going to Disneyland during Halloween season and NOT taking a photo with the gigantic ass pumpkin. Tsk tsk tsk. Anyways, this dish had thick, incredibly tender, mouth watering, and juicy cuts of wok-seared beef tenderloin and buttered onions served over generous portions of al dente savory, garlic-loaded noodles. As a fan of garlic and onions, this dish hit the spot. Also, this was a "wet" noodle style rather than a dry stir-fry. The generous portion sizes make it a heavy, highly filling meal. Staff: So I arrived earlier than my friend. They technically were not supposed to seat me until my friend arrived, but because the restaurant was pretty empty when I arrived, they told me to sit down at a booth to wait for my friend. The restaurant was surprisingly empty, and we were seated promptly. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen ($18) which was excellent. Rich, creamy broth, fully immersed noodles, and the accompanying egg and two pork chashu pieces, which were especially fatty. The broth for this Tonkotsu was above average for the many versions I've encountered over the years. Accompanying it we got the Salmon teriyaki bowl ($16), which included a quite massive piece of salmon (see photo), cooked perfectly above a bed of rice and a few vegetables on the side. I got the spider roll ($14) a tempura shrimp roll which nicely balanced the texture of the crispy shrimp with the softness of the other parts. The food was prompt, and service friendly, attending to our many needs and requests - pointing out when I forgot my to-go bag, taking dishes and cleaning after my messy children, answering my kid's (polite, but frequent) requests, and even supplying us with a small dish of sprinkles with these adorable little imported packaged Hokkaido soft service ice cream cones ($5). I am especially impressed when such great service comes from someone whose native language is clearly not English - this type of warmth from a traditionally reserved culture is palpable and real.
