Great Pho restaurant. A little pricey (just $1-2 more) compared to LA for their pho but the regular size comes with plenty of broth, noodles, and meat. Perfect for nursing our hangovers. Also ordered banh mi sandwiches to go. Could use a little more of the veggies but otherwise tasty and they don't skimp you on the meat! Service is great, location easy to find and plenty of parking. read more

I usually get the Roasted chicken & tomato rice which is a good. You can ask for a bowl of Pho you want although it does not have on the menu. Beef meatballs + shirmp + white chicken is a good combination. read more

I love it! This will be our new Pho spot. I got the premium Shrimp, it was just perfect. Perfect amount of shrimp and very delicately flavoured broth. Their fried egg rolls are delish as well. Service is A+ very attentive and polite. Place is clean which is a major plus. Plenty of parking and seating. I will be back! read more

Sweet little strip mall gem off San Fernando Rd. From the moment you open the door you're being greeted and sat , simple menu but definitely looking at others plates to see if your choice is the right one lol. Took us less than 5 min to get our bowls in front of us, wouldn't recommend the chicken but brisket and flank was really delicious and the appetizers are a must! read more

The beef pho broth is excellent and they provide lots of basil, cilantro, and bean sprouts. I appreciate how carefully they pack up to-go orders. The broth was still hot and un-spilled on the car ride home. Prices are also reasonable, much more reasonable and tastier than the hipster places. I will be back. The one small flaw was their summer roll---it had some kind of strange meat patty in it. It was just okay. Other than that, I will dive into their pho broth all winter long. I love pho. I am an absolute pho fanatic. And this is some of the best pho I've had in LA. Truly delicious broth and well cooked meat and I love that they give you both cilantro and the customary mint to put on top. It just feels like medicine for the body. Recommend! read more

Living in Hollywood this is the place to make that extra drive to. Easy parking especially in the evening. Actually Vietnamese owned and operated unlike the ones near Koreatown. Everything here is good!! My new favorite sandwich or Banh mi is the vegetarian version as well as the meat options. Flavors are all there and the spice is really nice! Have some ice coffee and let the good taste roll!. Perfect for lunch or even dinner. The Pho is also what you would expect from a properly run Pho place. The regular size is more than enough for one person. Overall they have great service, always polite and great food! It's the go to place for all your Vietnamese food needs! read more

Food: 2/5 This pho doesn't taste at ALL like typical pho broth. I can't put my finger on it, but when I go have a bowl of pho, I expect a certain flavor. Atmosphere: 3/5 This shopping center went to shit once the tattoo parlor moved in... they single handedly drove other businesses into the ground and completely ruined the atmosphere around here. The restaurant itself is very cute though. Service: 4/5 They did their jobs. Wouldn't go back here if I had the choice between pho spots. read more

The pho here is SOOO delicious and flavorful. I ate my bowl of pho without any garnishes, sauces, and lime! It's the best pho I've ever had in my life so far. This is my new favorite spot now. I'll be coming here again and again! Their egg rolls were so perfect too. :) They do not have much variety in drinks though. They were missing the avocado smoothie (that I usually love to order in vietnamese restaurants). Service here is fast and friendly, which is another plus! read more

I decided to try Pho Hot and I am giving it two stars as I found that I really don't like Vietnamese Food. But, the real reason is, that my Wife accompanied me and she ordered a dish and forgot to ask if they put MSG in the food. Well the food came quickly and my wife asked the Waiter about the MSG and he said they put in all their food for flavor and my Wife said she was allergic to the MSG and couldn't eat it and asked to have the dish returned to the kitchen. The Waiter mentioned that they had another dish without msg and left. I ate my food which was okay, but not to my liking and my Wife sat there with no food and 10-15 minutes went by. I asked the Waiter where my Wife's food was anf and he indicated that he didn't know she wanted it, which we were both shocked by. Not okay. We won't be going there again. read more

I'm a regular at Pho Hot in Glendale because their pho is consistently solid -- flavorful broth, generous portions, and it always hits the spot. This time though, I decided to switch things up and ordered the Shaking Beef & Tomato Rice. The beef came out tender with a nice sear, paired with onions and veggies that soaked up the savory sauce. Flavor-wise, it was good, though not quite as memorable as their pho -- I found myself missing that comforting bowl of noodles I usually go for. Still, it's a nice alternative if you're in the mood for something different from soup. Excellent customer service, very friendly too. I went in and one of the workers are actually my boyfriend's best friend. I sat and ordered a pho tai with separated beef which I prefer because the beef is very chewy and I love it. The wait wasn't expectedly that long but it was just a few 5-10 minutes which is ok I guess. My bf ordered a vietnamese sandwich and it looks amazing. It is delicious and very cheap. If you go during dinner you might have a 5 min wait, but it's honestly nothing.

This place used to be the perfect neighborhood spot, not anymore. RIP to the real Thai Rama. This is legit disgusting now. I keep trying every month in case the old recipe or workers come back, but it's simply inedible. Sad.

The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was in this establishment several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they only had lunch specials available from Monday - Friday at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is non existent. You will have to find street parking or local parking garages. Make sure to read the street signs well before parking. I saw someone get a ticket while walking to the restaurant. Food and Drinks: I got myself a peach jasmine iced tea. It came in an old school can type container, which was very unique and cool. The drink itself was very fruity, floral, and refreshing. As someone who loathes super sweet drinks and food, this was just right. Perfect for a hot summer's day. My dope ass friend and I ordered the spicy garlic chicken rice and shaken beef garlic noodles. The spicy garlic chicken rice is a signature wok dish featuring flash-fried chicken, broccoli, and jalapeños tossed in a bold, savory garlic sauce served over a bed of hot and fluffy rice. It also comes with some popular Vietnamese veggies like lettuce, daikon radish, and pickled carrots. The chicken itself was soft, tender, and flavorful. Truthfully, this dish was mid compared to that of the shaken beef garlic noodles. It was also a pretty hefty portion of food. The shaken beef garlic noodles were hella fire. You would be remiss if you didn't order this, y'all. That's like going to Disneyland during Halloween season and NOT taking a photo with the gigantic ass pumpkin. Tsk tsk tsk. Anyways, this dish had thick, incredibly tender, mouth watering, and juicy cuts of wok-seared beef tenderloin and buttered onions served over generous portions of al dente savory, garlic-loaded noodles. As a fan of garlic and onions, this dish hit the spot. Also, this was a "wet" noodle style rather than a dry stir-fry. The generous portion sizes make it a heavy, highly filling meal. Staff: So I arrived earlier than my friend. They technically were not supposed to seat me until my friend arrived, but because the restaurant was pretty empty when I arrived, they told me to sit down at a booth to wait for my friend. Thanks, Mariska. She was very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

The restaurant was surprisingly empty, and we were seated promptly. We ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen ($18) which was excellent. Rich, creamy broth, fully immersed noodles, and the accompanying egg and two pork chashu pieces, which were especially fatty. The broth for this Tonkotsu was above average for the many versions I've encountered over the years. Accompanying it we got the Salmon teriyaki bowl ($16), which included a quite massive piece of salmon (see photo), cooked perfectly above a bed of rice and a few vegetables on the side. I got the spider roll ($14) a tempura shrimp roll which nicely balanced the texture of the crispy shrimp with the softness of the other parts. It was sadly small at five pieces but quite good and each piece was fairly large. The interior is cozy, clean, and compact, consistent with the corner title, welcoming, and unpretentious. The ambiance seems a slight step up from your typical strip mall sushi place, no doubt utilizing the three walls with windows to maximize light and warmth. The food was prompt, and service friendly, attending to our many needs and requests - pointing out when I forgot my to-go bag, taking dishes and cleaning after my messy children, answering my kid's (polite, but frequent) requests, and even supplying us with a small dish of sprinkles with these adorable little imported packaged Hokkaido soft service ice cream cones ($5). I am especially impressed when such great service comes from someone whose native language is clearly not English - this type of warmth from a traditionally reserved culture is palpable and real. Probably some of the best service I've received at a restaurant like this in some time. Unpretentious, warm, friendly, and with good food, Sushi corner is a local gem that stands above its peers, and highly recommended for anyone looking for Japanese in the area.
