I came upon this place accidentally. I had originally told the bf to go to Pho Hut, but he must of have accidentally typed in "hot" instead of "hut." But we are so delighted to have found this place. We would have never stumbled upon it because of its weird location off of San Fernando Road. What I love about Pho Hot is that it's the most authentic in Glendale and one way to tell is that the owners do not speak English. However they are very nice and you just need to tell them what number you're ordering. Prices are also the most reasonable in this area: $7.50 for a small (which is plenty!) and $8.50 for a large. This has been our go to pho location because it's low key, it's clean, and there is a parking lot. Other pho locations in Glendale do not have parking which can be hassle. read more

It is so nice to have another pho place not too far from my home. Pho Hot is a bright and clean restaurant with ample parking and friendly service. Unfortunately, this is not a vegetarian-friendly restaurant. I don't believe they offer a vegetarian dish/broth. Pretty much everything on the menu except for drinks had some type of meats in it. I did, however, enjoy their shrimp pho (regular size: $7.50), which came with tons of veggies (bean sprouts, Thai basil, cilantro, lime wedge, and jalapeno slices). The broth had a lovely sweet start anise scent, and they did give me tons of prawn. Now that the weather seems to have cooled down a bit, it is a great time to enjoy a hot bowl of soup noodles. Sweet little strip mall gem off San Fernando Rd. From the moment you open the door you're being greeted and sat , simple menu but definitely looking at others plates to see if your choice is the right one lol. I feel bad giving them 2 stars because the service is super friendly, and they look like a family business. However, judging on food alone, I have to give it 2 stars. I was excited to try this place because I hadn't had pho in a while, and this new place in the neighborhood was so well reviewed, but alas, it sorely disappointed. We tried the fried egg rolls, and they came out 2 seconds after we ordered. They didn't taste fresh and were super bland. The meat inside just tasted like mush. I didn't finish my eggroll and that says something. We ordered pho, which also came out at lightening speed. I could tell right away that it wasn't right. The broth was dark brown and murky, and didn't smell like it was super fresh. The steak was fully cooked and the brisket was ok. Overall, the meat didn't taste fresh either. The broth wasn't good, which in my opinion, makes a bowl of pho. The veggies on the side were very fresh though. I ate the pho, which was ooooook, but I definitely left unsatisfied and wanting something else vs. when I usually get pho and I'm a super happy lady. Hands down, I prefer Glendale Pho Co. However when I 1st was coming here back in 2017 their Pho was so good it seems as though maybe certain things have slightly changed because the quality may have started to slip.
