Egg rolls: crispy and crunchy egg rolls, with refreshing veggies and mildly sweet sauce. House special Pho: I think it has all the beef selection cuts they offer. The broth is very tasty even without adding the fresh veggies or sauces, but they also bring cilantro/parsley, bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeños. The Jalapeños were more aromatic than spicy. Their hoisin sauce, chilli paste and sriracha were stable condiments on every table. Steak and brisket pho: very tasty broth, lots of protein and veggies. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've tried in the area. There's a charm to the what seems to be a family owned restaurant, the staff were so warm and welcoming. Service was very quick and the food was ready in around 10 minutes. I got the #23 Grilled Pork and Egg Rolls and #2 Spring rolls. The vermicelli dish was delicious! The greens, herbs, and noodles were fresh and the grilled pork was juicy and flavorful. The sauce could have been stronger though. The spring rolls were also freshly made and super tasty. They came with a peanut and hoisin sauce with sambal on the side. Overall, the food is great, the portions are huge, and the price is affordable. I tried Pho Hot for the first time this week and was quickly disappointed. I understand that this is a pho restaurant which is what they're probably best known for, but how can the rest of the food be that bad! I ordered a chicken bahn mi sandwich and the pork and shrimp spring rolls. The sandwich bread was good but the chicken was so hard and extremely dry; almost as if they made it the night before and left it under the sun. The meat was so hard I could not continue to eat it. I then moved on to the spring rolls which were very bland, and their peanut sauce was not good. I was still hungry after not eating my sandwich so I continued to eat the one spring roll I started with. To my surprise, as I took one more bite, there was a piece of hair in it. There are so many pho places out there. At the end of the day it's really a matter of who makes the best broth and even that is subjective. But tucked away in a little stop mall near San Fernando rd is this gem. The place is very clean and quite modern, and not to mention when I went it was quite packed. The staff was very nice and very accommodating, they seated us quite quickly, the food was good, the broth had a really good aroma and flavor and their banh mi was very reasonable. A strip mall on San Fernando Road can surprise you with some good Vietnamese cuisine in Glendale. Just east of the train tracks I found an actual decent place for Pho. Of course, there are other dishes, but their staple creation was surprisingly good. The broth was not muddled with over-saltiness, and the clean flavor of beef and seasoning is reminiscent of more established San Gabriel establishments. Their lunchtime weekday crowd really tells how this very local Vietnamese restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem. Their pricing is hovering near the premium side, but most good places are now. At the very least their service is excellent, and even with takeaway everything was packed with the care of the journey in mind. read more

The order I placed was for vermicelli noodles with bbq pork and a side order of egg rolls, but when I got home the order was incorrect. I received vermicelli noodles with bbq beef. Parking: There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. Quality of Food: The bbq beef was over cooked. The vermicelli noodles and egg rolls were delicious. COVID precautions: There was a plastic barrier between myself and the staff while I was paying. The pens used to sign the receipt was sanitized. There was another staff member by then takeout food, but he was NOT wearing a mask. I don't recommend coming here. I felt unsafe with a staff member NOT wearing a mask as he was near the takeout orders. Hours: Hours changed due to COVID. Monday -Saturday 10am-7pm. read more

It's served on a full-length baguette, and the flavor of the meat tasted exactly how I thought it should with a deep umami flavor. However, I did not enjoy the mayonnaise smeared on half the bread. Finally got to try this place during lunch! My mom and I went around 12pm and there were about 2-3 parties waiting ahead of us. We didn't wait too long before getting seated. Inside was very clean and organized. The restaurant had dividers between each tables for safe distance protocol from covid. I tried the vegetarian pho and the veggie spring rolls with tofu. Prices were comparable to similar restaurants. Portions were fairly reasonable: regular-sized bowl of pho was basically two meals for me and cost ~$13. Even though there were only two spring rolls in a single order, they were a meal in and of themselves (I probably could have just ordered those for dinner and been good). The broth for the veggie pho was not the best that I've tried. But the noodles were prepared really well and the veggie constituents definitely hit the spot. I wish they gave more chili sauce on the side but overall no complaints with just the minor observation that the broth could be a bit more impactful. Veggie rolls were bomb. I really liked the peanut sauce -- it wasn't too heavy compared to other places I've tried. Also tried the Thai iced tea and it was really good! The staff were really friendly too!! I AM A FAN. Picked up a large order for work and it was ready in 15 minutes. I enjoy veggie pho from pho places and Pho Hot is spot on with theirs. Veggie pho comes with fresh carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, tofu, and chicken broth. I got a regular portion and it was more than enough. Noodles were cooked perfectly, the broth is clean and tasty. +Veggie pho 10/10 +Beef Sandwich 9/10 (I like toasted bread, this bread wasn't, but was still really good) The sandwich was huge, two servings +Ice Coffee 10/10 (perfect amount of condensed milk) The to-go orders are extremely organized and come in nice plastic containers I will be re-using. I did not have to ask for sriracha, hoisin sauce, lime, bean sprouts, mint, chopsticks, spoon, and napkins. The staff was so sweet and kind. I will definitely be re-ordering here. My friend got the beef one and he ordered another side of beef because there was literally 3 oz of beef in his large soup. For me there were 4 small balls of fish and very average broth. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall on San Fernando Blvd on the border of Burbank & Glendale. Parking can be an issue during peak times. But there are street parking right on San Fernando and on the smaller streets. Walking in, you get hit with that Pho aroma. Already, I was hopeful because any self respecting Pho restaurant will hit you will the aroma and/or make your clothes smell like it when you leave. I ordered the Large Special for $14.50. Pricing is a little steep, but being outside of SGV, it's comparable. As you'd expect, the food came out a few minutes after I placed my order. Added the lime, basil, cilantro, hoisin and Sriracha. After my first bite, I was amazed how fresh the rice noodles was. It was chewy and bouncy like how fresh noodles should taste. The broth was clean and flavorful. It had tripe and tendon which is not served at all Pho restaurants. This is comparable with the other Pho restaurants you would find in Little Saigon or SGV. Service was great and friendly. They all spoke English. I would definitely come back here before it starts to heat up again. read more

My only disappointment about this place is that I didn't discover it sooner! I used to drive at least 30 min to get to my favorite pho spots. I'm so happy that now there's an authentic one so close to home :') Despite being in a quiet plaza, this place was pretty busy when my family and I came in on a Monday night. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet, and it was delicious! The broth was clear, and the beef was tender and flavorful.
