You really taste the spice if you ask for it. In long We've been talking about kimchi fried rice for 3 weeks, and finally got an order in. We're trying to cook at home more these days, but we opened the app and we were total suckers for the special. It was just a few bucks off, but when we built the order, it was 2-for-1, so we have an awesome pile of leftovers now. Showed up fast, still plenty hot. Kimchi fried rice Awesome chewy texture, great spicy tart kimchi flavor, savory fried egg on top with extra seasoning just on the egg. We got our 2-for-1 on the rice, and the portion is pretty big, so we will get at least 4 servings out of this. Tofu mushroom soup Ordered 4 stars, and there's actual noticeable kick to it, which not every place does. Excellent flavors. For $25, 2 little cups doesn't seem like much, so if I see that 2-for-1 again I might put it in on the soup instead of the rice. We're trying to think of delivery these days as a rare treat, and this place more than met the mark. We had a dozen other dishes in the cart before we could make up our minds, too. I've come to this place for years now and after they switched ownership quality of food has still stayed good. The best thing to get here if you have a larger group of three to five people is the combo meals which include a variety of entrees with the side dishes that can fill you up. However, my only complaint is that you can only get one free refill of sides and portions are a bit small. read more

I had heard so many good things about this place I was glad for the opportunity to try it when a Korean friends and has bf came up north to visit. The first disappointment was that this location does not offer the short rib noodle soup. The ambiance is non existent with no character and the staff was mechanical and void of any interest. This restaurant is part of a chain and is located in downtown Bothell, the same shopping complex as the Safeway. There is plenty of parking spots in front of the establishment. The inside is spacious, but somewhat dirty. However, the server was very nice and took our orders soon after we were seated. We tried the Korean spicy fried chicken and the pork bulgogi and soft tofu soup combo. The dinner entrees came with many side dishes as well, and they were delicious. I liked the spicy fried chicken, but I do wish they weren't as heavy on the sauce. It was so soaked that the skin lacked its signature crunchiness. I was happy to find this location of this restaurant because the Redmond location is closed and will have to be moved to a new location because their building is being torn down for condos. This location is much smaller, but it is good. There's only one person hosting and serving, but somehow they managed to keep up and keep all the tables served and replenished. Impressive. This person needs a raise. They are keeping this business going in a positive way. I only had the hot bibimbap this time because it was lunch. It was very good. Space is clean and inviting. Service was noticeably slow on this Saturday afternoon around 1pm, which appeared to be attributed to limited staff. We were asked to put our name down on a clipboard waitlist and told it would be a 15 minute wait, despite half the tables being vacant. We were seated within about 10 minutes, and it took about 15 minutes for our server to come to take our order. For 3 adults, we opted to share the Chicken Bulgogi and Soft Tofu Soup (with beef) combo (which comes with a bowl of rice), a kimchi pancake, and added an extra bowl of rice. The kimchi pancake and banchan came out first. We were shocked how big the pancake was, definitely could be shared between up to 6 people. The pancake was not super spicy, as one would expect, and it was crispy. And the dipping sauce that came with it was a good pairing. My favorite of the banchan were the pickled cucumbers, wasn't really a fan of the other offerings (which included kimchi, broccoli, fish cake slices, some jelly appearing dish with a soy sauce glaze, and bean sprouts). The tofu soup was good, the tofu was super soft, there was a good amount of thinly sliced beef. I felt it was pretty comparable to the other soft tofu soups I've had at other Korean restaurants, certainly not worth the $18 they charge for it as a stand-alone entree. Chicken bulgogi also nothing special, though the chicken was tender and juicy. Tasted like a slightly better version of chicken teriyaki. Came out to be $55 for the items we got, and we walked away with some leftovers. Overall an okay experience. If I come back, I'd want to try the fried chicken - it looked really good sitting on the table next to us! read more

The best place in entire area to get Kalbi/Galbi ribs. Even if you go to Linwood with its huge variety of Korean food, you won't find anything better. I always ask it without onion, as I'm not a huge lover of it. Short on kimchi or cucumbers? Ask to refill! Their kimchi is definitely close to a homemade one, and I'd come here just for it. As for bulgogi, I'd probably have it in another place, I'm not a huge fan of their marinate, but my wife likes it a lot - so you should try at least once to understand for yourself. read more

Water & tea was refilled without having to ask, side dishes were cheerfully refilled when requested. Side dishes were very fresh & delicious!! Little pancakes were cold but not bad. We've been going here for years and it's always been one of our favorite places. However, the last few times we've been they raised the prices, which is understandable, but they've also made major cuts to the amount of meat you receive per dish. Not an exaggeration, there was less than two small bites of bulgogi beef in my dinner size stone bowl. I had to pack most of my rice and vegetables to take home, just to add meat. First time here, excited to see what their menu tastes like, especially the fried chicken. Hoping that we don't have to go to Edmonds for Korean Fried Chicken! Just finished trying out the food and it was definitely delicious! Had fun with the hot pot bi bim bop and letting the bottom of the rice get hard with the heat, then mixed in the spicy sauce to whatever spicy heat that I want to take. We did two combos which came with seven different types of kim chi. I like 5 of them, which is standard for me. We had galbi short ribs and bolgogi plates and we had the soft tofu with rice too. Good, local Korean food and tofu soup restaurant with a couple locations around the Seattle area. They do a variety of popular Korean foods and I would recommend the fried chicken and tofu soup. Food I got the beef tofu soup and it was pretty good! The soup was good and not too salty. There's a decent amount of beef that comes with it. The side dishes here were good. I liked the kimchi and egg rolls. Fried chicken was super crispy and the meat was good as well. Plenty of pieces in the order for the 4 of us. Atmosphere Nice looking restaurant where you can casually get Korean food. Noise level was low. Pricing The food price here is slightly higher than what I would expect to pay for tofu soup or even some of the other dishes. Quality was good. But I think I could go somewhere else slightly cheaper tofu soup. Service  Service was good and fast. The server was nice. Got seated quickly for lunch. Korean food, have no ideal what they have it's not teriyaki and it's not Chinese so what is it, a new experience. The first thing to notice when seated at a table was they set the mood in this place "dinning lighting " was in play meaning it had soft lighting that put you in the mood to relax and enjoy your meal. I feel like the place was insulated from the street noise outside and in was well temperature control. I tell that I had no ideal what some or most of the the dishes were like kabli or bulgogi, I just look for things I recognize like beef and ribs and tofu, and they had pictures to make it easy for people like me to choose: So we went for the combo specials, two dishes together and you know that they put these food together must go good together. I didn't picture it but we got Diet Coke and sprite and it came in glasses , well made glasses, it makes all the difference in the world to meal attention to details. The place setting had a plate and I thought was traditional chopsticks, they were chopsticks but they were stainless steel already pre seal, nice touch. Order two combo specials #3 kalbi beef short ribs and #5 bulgogi and soft tofu soup , side note #5-9 comes with rice. I didn't know you my surprise that the food came out on cast iron bowls or plate that are super hot that kept the food hot . The he beef ribs and bulgogi was season right for me, you know at other places you have a habit or reaching for the salt, pepper or ketchup, not this time the only thing I was reaching for was the chopsticks in one hand the drink in the other, no time for talking this a meal meant eat without words. Now you might have noticed in one picture there are little dishes, I didn't know what they were really but I found out they are called banchan meaning side dishes. Oh I thought that make sense no big deal but they are not appetizers they come out before the main course and suppose to contrast, complement and served as condiments . Glad to have a good Korean food option in the Bothell area! Each of the dishes we ordered was deliciously prepared. Kalbi marinade had a good balance of savory, salty, and sweet, and the meat was tender with a perfect char. My wife's mackerel was juicy and flavorful, and my daughter's hot pot bi bim bap had a good selection of veggies to go along with the meat and rice. Banchan sides were fresh and tasty. My only gripe was the prices which is what everyone else is complaining about. I can't exactly say the dinner was worth the price we paid, but at the same time we won't hesitate to come here when we're in the mood for Korean food. Tried this restaurant for the first time today. The place was quiet. There wasn't many people there for a Sunday at lunch time. I think they could have used at least one more server as I only saw two. Service was really slow and I had to flag them down to take my order or get more tea. The place was clean! Loved the food and service at this newish restaurant in bothell. It's korean food done and served the right way, we ordered kimchi pan cakes and tofu bibimbap. The dishes came with about 8 small sides including kimchi, cucumber, sweet potato, broccoli and others. Kimchi pancake was amazing and generous in portion, hot pot bibimbap was good but was not as spicy as we thought. We also tried the plum soju which is a rice based spirit and it was not overly sweet and was pleasant to drink. Will definitely go there again. read more

I got kalbi ribs and soft tofu kimchi soup and it was really good! The portions were huge and they don't make you pay extra for rice which is nice. They also give so many different sides to enjoy with your meal witch made it so much more enjoyable :) the only reason I don't want to give it a 5 star is a lot of the cut of meat used in my kalbi was tough and not as flavorful as I would have liked it to have been. It tasted like it hadn't been marinated enough and some of the pieces I literally couldn't chew through. The tofu kimchi soup was 10/10 though. The spicy ness in the broth with the kimchi , tofu, just all the flavors in the broth worked so well together. Overall this place was great, I'd like to try more on the menu for sure!! read more

The banchan was all delicious and well seasoned, bibimbap was reasonably priced and so tasty! it was a pretty slow Sunday so service was fast and attentive. excited to come back and try more, great spot for when the korean food craving hits. read more
