Passed by this place numerous times thinking it's going to be another restaurant where the food doesn't justify the price, like a lot of pho places in Seattle.. It was 11am and I wanted something hot and salty and thought, let's finally try this place. Order taking was pleasant, friendly and honest. I got the pho tai gan, pho house, bahn mi, and the viet coffee. I dined in on the tai gan and did the rest takeout. The broth had a good temperature, finally! I thought the portion was good as well though maybe they should have an extra large option for those extremely hungry people since there were some comments about portion size. Then again they do have a Pho House which seems to be larger.. but then again.. we do live in a country were super size is the normal size.. When I was eating pho growing up, not in Seattle, most pho places had their regular sized pho bowls and then there was the #1, "Fire Train", kitchen sink, whatever name they gave that first item on their menu, which wasn't a large but an extra large bowl of pho, catering to the labor workers, or the especially large or hungry people of the area. The broth was also good. Im a big fan of basil and lime in my broth. Some prefer as-is. Whatever works. Place is clean, organized, glasses for water looked clean. Menu could be better but it's aiiight. I gave them 4 stars because the rare beef came fully cooked instead of raw/rare. The pho house I ordered takeout did have it raw so it was great to put it together and pour a hot broth over at home. The noodles can also use some work. It was a little hard when served but fine when I prepped at home. Lastly, when I get viet coffee, I expect it to be strong. If it's not strong, it's wrong, else I get coffee at any of the other hundreds of weaka$$ coffee places in Seattle. Their coffee was good, would most likely get it again. I was anxious to try this new addition to our neighborhood options. Parking seemed like it would be difficult, but wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. Reception upon arrival was lacking, but friendly. Food came out fast and was high quality. We both had Pho, only one size available, but my wife had beef and I had chicken, both with extra vegetables. Great tasting and hot as well which is great! Love eating here. It's our go to Vietnamese spot. Our favorites are banh mi, pho, springs rolls, and egg rolls. their Vietnamese coffee is also very good. The view of the lake is very nice too. read more

A great addition to Kenmore. The service was friendly and fast. We showed up at 5pm and had our food within 7 minutes or so. The fried rice was good. The sandwiches were liked as well. Their indoor seating gives you lots of space to spread out if you desire more space between tables. They could use an online menu or online ordering system. read more

For those with parking anxiety, this is not the place for you. We ordered egg rolls, BBQ pork banh mi, brisket pho and lychee boba. The egg rolls were was good though i wish they gave us more dipping sauce. The BBQ pork banh mi was disappointing. The bread was soft but the meat was dry. Overall nothing special. I'm hoping their other banh mi's are better. The pho was alright, also nothing special. The broth was pretty bland and I had to depend on the sriracha and hoisin sauce more than I like to. My new go-to spot for bún bò huế in the north Lake Washington area! The broth was flavorful and spicy and the noodles were a great consistency. I typically don't like pork blood cubes because of the texture and this version replaces it with peppery meat cubes. The herbs, bean sprouts, and lime were fresh and a great compliment. I took my mom to lunch and was embarrassed and disappointed. The server was rude and dismissive. Seemed irritated that I asked him to wash our very dirty table, even though I told him not to rush since I knew he was busy. He barely wiped down about 1/2 the table. When he brought our pho, he failed to tell us we needed to get our own silverware. I guess I should have known, but had not been there before. He also shrugged his shoulders when I came to the counter to ask for a to go container. The broth was extremely bland. The chicken had no flavor. I will give them credit as it was a generous portion. Ordered pho Thai (rare beef) and shrimp spring rolls. Great pho, delicious broth! Flavorful and rich, exactly what you want. Gave a lot of meat for order. Shrimp spring rolls could use more veggies, but had a lot of shrimp. Peanut sauce is one of the better ones I've tasted. Tricky parking situation, but doesn't hinder me coming again. So excited Pho House Deli is open! Place is cute, clean and staff are nice. We ordered Pho Tai (Rare Beef), Pho Ga (Chicken), Grilled pork spring rolls, Vietnamese coffee and Thai iced tea with boba. First, the pho broth; it was delicious, hot and savory. The meat in both was tender and juicy and the noodles were the right level of soft. Second, the spring rolls were fresh and the pork was well seasoned. Lastly, the Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea were smooth. The boba was tougher than others I've had, but I'd still get it again. We might have come on an off day, but on the whole quite disappointed. Shrimp Spring Rolls: the shrimp tasted off. The lettuce had very little green. Peanut sauce was ok. Fish sauce was pretty meh. Bun (grilled pork): lettuce, again, was more white then green. The pork was low quality, tasted boiled/not grilled, I'm sure it was something else but seemed to have a dozen hairs in it. Cha Gio: are nothing like their photos outside (I had high hopes seeing them!). Wrapper tasted of egg roll, very small interior, not tasty. Pho broth: very boring, no spiced, very meh Wonton soup: the wontons were pretty OK. Nothing special, but probably the second best part of the meal. Ice coffee: best part of the experience. A bit overly ice creamy, but a solid / neutral coffee flavor I'm sure we just got unlucky, but definitely not returning. read more

If you are in kenmore and looking for delicious Pho then this is the place! They have a little different style, you order at the counter and pick up your own water and utensils to the left of the cashier then they give you a number for your table. Self seating. Not much decor but bright and clean. The spring rolls were excellent and the pho was as well. With pho it's all about the broth and I could tell this was an authentic recipe, very flavorful but not too salty. The table was clean with all the condiments you would expect at a Pho place. My kids loved it and they have boba! We will be coming back here! read more

I have been waiting for pho house deli to open for the past 2 years and was so excited to finally try it opening week!! You guys. One of the best bahn mis I have ever had (and I have had MANY, they're my favorite sandwich). The flavor and quality was outstanding. I got the bbq pork bahn mi and cannot recommend it enough. I'm excited to try the others but it will be tough not ordering that delicious sandwich again. This restaurant is just what kenmore needed, I always had to drive out of my way for Vietnamese but not anymore! I thought the soup was pretty good. Dine in experience is sparse cafe style and the restaurant can be cold because of their sticky front door and lack of foyer. I'd say try them and judge for yourself. read more

Oh Darn. Everyone's been waiting for Pho House to open. The location has been empty since Covid started, and they finally opened a week ago. I tried it out today. Very few parking spaces available. Inside, things look clean. Didn't get much of a greeting. I ordered a chicken banh mi to go, and specified no jalapeños. What I received was a warmed bun with nice veggies, and tough, overly salted chicken. And two large slices of jalapeño! A very poor start. Back to Pho An we go. read more

Disappointed after waiting 2 yrs for it to open. Not the best VN food i have had and i've been to a lot of VN restaurants over decades. The chicken bun/vermicelli was OK. The spring rolls were teeny/tiny & did not look anything like the pix on outside window! Brown sauce for spring rolls was very bland/tasteless. Lemongrass chicken sandwich/banh mi ga was great! Too hot for pho in summer for me. Very mediocre across the board. No AC on during all 3 visits/hot summer! $1 up-charge if u use credit card for an order under $20. The one size is great for someone who really likes pho. The broth is my main mission that I look for in a great pho spot, they have a great base in their beef broth. I think the thickness in the meat is perfect, not too thick where it's super chewy and not too thin where it starts to tear apart with the hot broth. A great find! I came over around 1pm on a Monday, so was able to get a parking spot. Ordered to go: Pho with beef broth and fried tofu, and egg rolls. Many of these Pho restaurants are a disappointment to me, from the lack of variety, cleanliness issues and utterly bland food. Pho House rises above ALL east-side Vietnamese eateries. This place was pretty solid. The prices were lower than most other pho restaurants in the area which was nice, but the quality of food reflected that a little bit. That's not to say I didn't enjoy the food, it just felt like a fast food pho restaurant rather than a sit down place. I tried the pho tai chin, my brother had the pho tai, and we split the BBQ pork bahn mi. The pho was good but didn't come with the Thai basil, sprouts, and jalapeños that other restaurants usually serve. The bahn mi was tasty but not on the same level as the pork bahn mi from pho shizzle in the U district. read more
