Enticed to try this as it was recommended by multiple Yelp friends! I mean overall it was alright. I was surprised it is LOCATED in the FoodMaxx plaza; therefore lots of parking in a free parking lot. ORDERED #1 pho (with everything) and broken rice plate #39. Seeing broken rice in a viet restaurant is sadly no longer the standard; thus, the excitement is real. Sides on the rice were your typical viet vibe; however, the pork chop had a bbq and a very artificial underlying fake smoke taste. As always, a bowl of "chicken" soup (I seriously appreciate how no matter which viet restaurant you go to... it's a spot on carbon copy lol) and fish sauce provided. The pho definitely had msg (I am so sensitive to msg in the sense I develop extreme thirst nearly immediately). The meats were the viet standard and very tough. The soup did not really have any sustenance. Interesting note: Their pho and dishes took a long time to come out-- this is totally me being nitpicky (10 mins vs 2-3 minutes at other establishments) Will I come back? Unlikely as you are literally in Little Saigon with plentiful options!

This is such a good spot their springs rolls are definitely top notch for me the green onion they add to it is chefs kiss** for extra flavor. Service here is always fast and friendly. I usually like to come here on a lunch break when I'm working in the area. Place is a little small but clean and cozy. I know there's a ton of options on the east side to choose and try from when it comes to pho places but this is definitely a top 5 for me and a must try if you're in SJ. Also love that if you can't decide between fried spring rolls and fresh spring rolls you can do a half order of both!

    - 5/5: Banh Xeo crepe: Near perfection. Does not get soggy. Filling is minced just the right amount to remain embedded in the crepe. - 4/5: Vietnamese iced coffee: Ca phe sua da is OK. This is the type of place that takes an extra 5 minutes to make the food, but it's twice as good. Parking is easy.

Just stopped by to grab a quick light snack before heading out. I was here close to 4:300' and the place was pretty empty. The workers were very nice and the restaurant felt clean. I ordered a vegetarian spring roll and was pretty disappointed. I didn't get to try anything else since I was here just for a snack so my review is just for the vegetarian spring roll. It just had a bit of shredded tofu, lot of noodles and lettuce or some other green. There was almost no flavor. The peanut sauce was very much just hoison sauce. Normally I really enjoy spring rolls but I was not able to finish my order.

Pho Huong is located in a corner of the shopping center that houses FoodMaxx, Jollibee, Petco and a few smaller shops. The overall parking lot is huge, and the parking areas right in front of Pho Huong is readily available. I've never had any problems finding a spot right near the restaurant, even when it was really busy inside. I've eaten inside here and had take-out many times. This particular time, I decided to grab some food to go after doing some grocery shopping. I called in my order ahead of time (banh xeo and an order of eggrolls). By the time I headed over, my order should have been ready. I had to wait another 15 minutes inside the restaurant, as they had a big order ahead of time. No biggie, but it would have been nice to be been informed of that when placing the order so I could have taken longer at the grocery store. Once my food was ready, I went home. Along the way, the smell of the banh xeo was very tempting and I couldn't wait to bite into the eggrolls. They were delicious! I was a little disappointed at the amount of lettuce/herbs I got though - since both the banh xeo and eggrolls came with lettuce/veggies, I was expecting a good amount. I only got 3 lettuce leaves, which was definitely not enough, not even for the eggrolls. I hope this was a one time occurance, as I love veggies when eating.

Pho Huong is a nice little restaurant tucked on the right corner of shopping mall with FoodMaxx, Jollibee, Party City, etc. The decor is simple and modern. The elderly uncle serving me was polite and courteous. #1 Pho Dac Biet (Combination): Beef Noodle Soup served with rare steak, well-done flank, fatty brisket, tendon, tripe (4/5). Clean & flavorful broth. It was piping hot and unfortunately cooked my rare steak in seconds. Thin noodles, not sure if they have the option for fresh noodles. Anyways, pretty delicious pho. I'll check out their drinks next time.

If there's ever a place that makes the best bánh xèo commonly referred as Vietnamese sizzling pancake then Phở Hương is where its at located in a large shopping plaza right off Tully Road. Been coming here for the past three years so inviting with warm greetings by a middle aged couple very attentive and down to earth. I chose bánh xèo for its savory taste crispy with added pork belly, mung beans, shrimps and plate of garnish lettuce, mustard green, collards and served with a cup of dipping fish sauce comprise of lime juice, garlic and chili peppers goes very will with a cup of Vietnamese iced coffee with condense milk. I had more than my fill it was definitely appetizing and very authentic Vietnamese meal along with rice plates and phở. Highly recommend my go to no complaints excellent service pleasant staff best to come by early than later especially on the weekends.

Large pho with well done brisket

I ordered large pho with well done brisket only. There are only eight small pieces of meat. For 16 dollars 8 pieces of small size of meat is too little.

Great food, excellent service, timely, clean, good classic viet music & ambiance, and repeatable. Came @930a post hike-- Pho ga: delicious broth with a slight sweetness that was balanced with the citrus, sriracha, and hoisin sauce. Good toppings. Could have used a little more shredded chicken. Side of egg rolls: crispy, standard cooking, and nicely sized. Bun thit nhuong: generous size, tons of noodles and I loved the uniqueness of the shredded greens, had all the right toppings- which I feel most places skimp on. Every bite had all of the flavors. The pork was perfectly char and tender. I got a side of broth and it was a great balance of umami that paired well with the dish. Would return to try their other dishes.

Definitely larger portions and super affordable. We picked up the items 30 mins before our party started, and they were still fresh and crispy throughout the whole night! Four years later and I'm still giving this place 5 stars! I've tried other bánh cuốn places around…read morethe Bay Area, but this is still the benchmark for me. There are other places I can go as backups, but when I want the complete bánh cuốn meal, this is the place to go. Food (5 stars) + The Đặc Biệt is still the #1 order here. It's a huge plate and you get a little bit of everything: the plain rice rolls with shrimp sprinkled on top, bánh cuốn stuffed with meat, pork roll, egg roll, and their crispy fried shrimp cake. Everything complements each other perfectly. + The rice rolls are soft and fresh, and I especially like the ones stuffed with meat. Pour their sweet and savory fish sauce all over it and add some of the red chili peppers if you want some heat. Excellent! + Their fried items are also what separates this place from some of the others. The egg roll is crispy and the fried shrimp cake actually has a nice big shrimp on there. Even the slightly steamed bean sprouts and herbs work perfectly with everything else on the plate. + This time I ordered the smaller plate with just the meat-filled bánh cuốn instead of the Đặc Biệt. It's around $15 and is actually the perfect amount for me where I'm full but not overly stuffed. However, for only a couple bucks more, I'd still recommend the Đặc Biệt. You just get so much more food! Service/Ambiance (3.5-4 stars) + Service is pretty standard for a Vietnamese restaurant. They're not constantly coming around to refill your water, but if you raise your hand or flag someone down, they'll come over and help you. Nobody is looking the other way pretending they didn't see you! + The restaurant itself is pretty small inside, but they have a much larger outdoor seating area. We came during lunch and didn't have to wait long. + I brought my dog Marley so we sat outside. It was a warm day but there was enough airflow that it was actually pretty comfortable. - One strange thing I've noticed during my last two visits: the water has a slight soapy taste. Maybe that's proof they do an excellent job washing their cups, but they could probably use an extra rinse! This time I just brought my own water. 4 years after my original 5-star review, nothing has really changed for me. I've had plenty of bánh cuốn around the Bay Area and this is still the place I compare everyone else to. The service and ambiance might only be around 3.5-4 stars, but I'm not coming here for fancy service. I'm coming for bánh cuốn, and the food is still 5 stars!

We've probably eaten here 50+ times with family and friends, and one thing I can say is that they are 100% consistent. We've never had a bad meal here. There's a great variety of Vietnamese dishes, so everyone can usually find something they like. The chả cá (fish) is one of their popular dishes and a favorite. They also have good chicken phở, broken rice, vermicelli noodles, spring rolls, roll-your-own options, and plenty of soups beyond phở. You can order individual dishes or share family-style, which makes it especially easy when coming with a group. It's very casual, family-friendly, quick, and straightforward--nothing fancy and probably not where I'd choose for a date night. But for a dependable meal with family or friends, it's a great spot. Kids like it, parents like it, and my mom likes it--which says a lot coming from an older Vietnamese person who knows her Vietnamese food! The staff is always efficient and nice, and after all these years, the food remains consistently good. The biggest downside is parking. The entire shopping center has become so busy with restaurants that finding a spot can be overwhelming, especially during peak hours. Also, keep in mind they do not take credit cards. Bring cash, or you can pay electronically through options such as Zelle/Venmo. Overall, this is one of those longtime neighborhood restaurants we keep coming back to because we know exactly what we're going to get: good Vietnamese food, plenty of choices, friendly service, and consistency.

The faded print and worn condition made them look as though they hadn't been replaced in years. Those details created an impression of neglect that made it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal.
