    Chicken breast Pho

Hole in the wall place, not fancy at all, but really high quality Pho. Also had Vietnamese coffee, it was great.

    Pho Dac Biet- no tendon

Cozy family owned Vietnamese restaurant serving chicken/beef pho and other side dishes. I'd recommend getting the pho dac biet for the meat variety. Also the owner is an absolute chiller.

This place is among my top picks for pho in the Bay Area. Big plus is that they also offer fresh noodles!

Great service, great food. Cleaner than before the name change. Although prices increased, they're still very cheap compared to other more known and overhyped places. True hole in the wall, mom & pop shop. Thumbs up!

    Chao Long!

Porridge is a little sweet and salty. The menu listed $16.75 per order. But she charged $19.75 with tax so it's around almost $21. When asked she said because I ordered togo. Well! She charged $3 extra for Togo orders? So check your bills before paying them. I don't highly recommend this restaurant due to their dishonesty. I won't come back here and also our family/friends as well. Good luck to your business! And Don't tried to do business in the cheating way to make just a couple of dollars. Treat people with honesty that will help your business grow.

The customer service was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere. It's a small restaurant with limited seating. Pho was rich and flavorful. Parking is limited, and it can get crowded.

I always am in this plaza and have noticed this pho Resturant always busy IM THE CORNER I had never tried this place and today I decided to do so As soon as you come to the door the aromas are sooo amazing . I talked to the owner who let me know they have been here over 8 years and I asked what sge recommend recommended . She recommended the combination for which has all the meats so I purchased to go there were people coming in and starting to come in for dine in. I noticed that the bowls the fubo's are huge, which is awesome. I didn't wait very long for my order to be done. I would say less than 10 minutes. I live nearby so I went home and I warmed up the broth prepared my bowl and let me just say it was delicious. It had oxtail and I have round and tender in and just all the meats that are on the menu. The price was 1950 which was well worth it and I will be back. The broth was so good so if you live nearby, please come and try this family own restaurant. You will not regret it. there's outside seating if you wanna sit outside the place is nice and clean. The waiters are I seen attend the customers quickly they went water food, really nice relaxing family atmosphere or you can come with friends or by yourself I will say you will not regret it I myself plan on dining in next time this little hidden gem

Beef Pho with fatty broth added (for more flavor), liver with ginger sauce, fresh pork blood
    Vincent H.

Clear, rich, clean, savory broth. Regular noodles are springy and chewy, cooked perfectly. Fresh noodles are soft and good. Meat is good. Lots of options including oxtail. If you add fatty broth the soup becomes richer. The pork organs they use in their weekend porridge are very fresh. The pork blood is soft like tofu. The water is clean tasting, and their Vietnamese coffee is made to order in those French style drippers.

If you're looking for just pho and no sides this location is perfect for you! It's a cozy and smaller restaurant located in east San Jose! I ordered the Oxtail Pho and unfortunately the Oxtail wasn't as tender and expected it to be. It did not fall off the bone but it was still flavorful. They're known for their fresh noodles and they were absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating, frequently checked on us and topped up our water

    Rimi S.

Staff was sick (cold, plenty of cough +sneezing) Food was fine. I'm not sure if there is regulation on if restaurants should run with sick staff.

What I LOVE from SJ Eggrolls is the garlic noodles with the garlic butter shrimp. IT SO DELICIOUS! One of the best garlic noodles I've ever had and the shrimp was tasty. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the shell was soft to eat. Another item I love here is the banh khot! So crispy, fresh, and fried well. Very limited seating, this is more of a take out spot. I read up on some reviews before coming in and learned there could be a long wait, so I ended up calling in ~30 minutes before I planned on getting there. I was particularly excited about the Banh Khot and netted eggrolls the most, but they mentioned that the eggrolls were unfortunately sold out that day (we came in around lunchtime on a weekend) We ordered the banh khot and garlic shrimp noodles and ate them at home, and both were delicious!! The banh khot was warm and crunchy. I love when you can taste hints of coconut and when the garlic is suuuper strong lol The garlic noodles were alright tbh. The noodles were a little hard but the shrimp was cooked perfectly! They're definitely meant to be more of a takeout spot. They were pushing out party trays like crayyyy when we were there. Mixing it with the noodles, herbs, and peanuts made for a great combination of textures and flavors. Despite it being in a big lot, parking still took a while to find. Thankfully, we had thankfully just beat the lunch rush and not had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. My friend and I shared a Northern spread (Bun Cha Ha Noi) and a Southern style Goat Curry (Banh Mi Cari De). Service was definitely on the slower side that day, but thankfully we were proactive at getting the orders in. The Bun Cha Ha Noi was delicious - pretty much a DIY spring roll - all the fun, all the mess, with none of the clean up other than licking the plates clean. The pork belly was delicious; I was surprised how much I liked it, since I'm not a fan of pork. I devoured numerous rolls, and we also had some extra vermicelli to finish off the rest of the protein. This single meal was definitely more than enough for two! The Banh Mi Cari De (goat curry) was unfortunately quite the opposite. The goat was cooked very well - tough, gamy, and difficult to eat. There were probably six pieces in total, our first was tender, our second had bone, a little harder to chew, and the last was best compared to rubber. The curry was a bit watery, which made the banh mi soggy when dipped in. This was probably an adventurous try, but not a dish I'd ever consider ordering again.
