Fried tofu and broccoli with vermicelli noodles
    Fiana S.

I ordered vegetable egg rolls and the vegetarian vermicelli noodle dish with fried tofu and broccoli. The egg rolls were tasty and crispy except where they were touching a bed of lettuce in the container. The meal was fresh and flavorful, with a sweet and spicy, citrusy chile sauce to pour over. The broccoli was cooked just right, and so was the fried tofu. I really liked the crushed peanut topping and I believe fresh mint and basil as well. I would get this again.

Saigon City is an absolute delight! My wife and I have visited Vietnam twice, and every time we're home and craving authentic pho, spring rolls, egg pancakes, and more, Saigon City hits the spot. Their dishes transport me straight back to Vietnam with every bite. Consistently delicious and paired with friendly service--this place truly gets it right!

I picked up food to go. I am from out of town and love Vietnamese food. In So Calif there is very good Asian Cuisines. I tried A8 the chicken wings. Way overcooked! But the sauce was outstanding!!! If they were cooked properly, this would have been the highlight. Also tried H13 Bahn Xeo which is not something I wouldve thought I would find in New Mex. Looked great. Fresh veggies as you would get in Vietnam. Lettuce, cilantro, Thai Basil, mint and pickled carrots and cucumbers. It was tasty but the pancake filling was just average. The dipping sauce was very good. Eaten all together, its was good. Next was MX13 flank steak w stir-fried noodle. Decent but more like Chinese chow mein. For Vietnamese food in New Mexico 4 stars, its not bad. But compared to So Cal and what I am used to I would rate it 3 stars. If you are in the mood for Vietnamese food, give it a tried. There may be some gems on the menu. Mine were not them.

Egg rolls 2 for $5.25. Needs to be dipped in the dish sauce.

My favorite cuisine, hands-down, is Vietnamese! I can literally eat it every day, three times a day, that's how much I love it!! Tonight, I placed a to go order that included one order of the eggrolls A1 for $5.25, jelly fish with pork salad A11 for $13.95 and a large shaken beef "bo luc lac" CC9 $21.95. I was starving when I picked up the food because I went to the wrong location. I took a bite of the egg roll without the fish sauce. Without the fish sauce, it lacks flavor. I also feel that they're very small for the price of $5.25 for two. I was especially excited about the jellyfish and pork salad. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as it was mushy and the ingredients didn't make sense. I wouldn't order the salad again. Lastly, I've eaten shaken beef at least 50 times. My mom is the best cook and her shaken beef is delicious. The beef was extremely dry, tough and lacked flavor. Most shaken beef have bits of garlic and lemongrass, squares of white onion and possibly red bell peppers. This was BORING & overcooked beef. Luckily, there is a small container of soy sauce with chili in it to liven up the flavor. Also, I ordered the large size for $21.95. Can't imagine what a "small" size would be. Extremely disappointed in the food. I was starving and ready to eat some delicious Vietnamese food. Won't be returning or recommending.

Did I say that this is the best Vietnamese in town.... I think I did because they are. The spring rolls here are top shelf, the chicken wings are worth coming here just for that, but the B3 spicy lemon grass bowl is always what I come here for. These people are always friendly always clean. This place is a gem in Albuquerque 100%

    Sautéed lemongrass pork

This is by far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Albuquerque. I went here with a friend and was not disappointed. The restaurant is very large with plenty of seating for large groups. The service was friendly and attentive. The menu is massive and has a lot of authentic dishes that you can't find at most Vietnamese restaurants. I had the sautéed lemongrass pork and it was so tasty and rich. I also had the salted lime soda and this was one of the oddest tasty drinks I have ever had. I highly recommend this place.

    Pork banh mi

Great place for Vietnamese food in Albuquerque. We started with the wings and dumplings as appetizers. Then I got the pork banh mi for dinner. The sandwich was filling and tasty. The pork was tender and juicy. There are so so so so many options on the menu to try. Everything I've had here has been delicious 1 of our fav places to go. I'll be back sometime soon

I've been visiting CO from Hawaii and have been searching for good pho. This is hands down the best pho I've had in this area. Went to a couple places that came recommended and it was a let down. Saigon City is fantastic. I highly recommend

This is a 11/10 restaurant. The food is beyond great, the service is always excellent, and the inside is soo cute. I love how they've decorated the ceiling with umbrellas. I am so addicted to this place that they know me and my order. Ps. BEST WINGS EVER

A note about "working" on updating prices attached to the table.

Beware of the bait and switch. The prices on the menu is not what they charge you. When I asked if the egg rolls were $3.95 on the menu, the waitress couldn't confirm and had to look on the computer for the price. She said it costs $4.50 if we shared the appetizer but $3.95 if we didn't??? Wow! Supposedly they haven't updated their menu to reflect current prices. However, I read a review from two months ago that had the same experience. How long does it take a restaurant to set it's prices? Because we had a party of 5, they automatically charged a 20% tip. And when the bill came out, they asked for an additional tip on top of the mandatory 20%! With that said, the pho was ok but the broth was too sweet. The egg rolls were tough and chewy. Service was quick. The restaurant was very clean. If you want to charge a higher price just be honest and transparent about it. The bait and switch sours the experience.

The cold cuts were flavorful, the bread was fresh, and the meat to bread ratio was just right since I like more meat than bread. This is an excellent option for a quick lunch, but I would recommend staying to eat if you can. The decor is simple, the space is clean, and there are a few tables available. It does get busy during the lunch rush, but the line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. While the banh mi definitely steals the show, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Their banh cuon, thin rice noodles filled with ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, was good, though still second to the sandwiches. They also offer pate chau, a flaky puff pastry filled with pork pate, including a New Mexico style version with chicken and green chile. They have a variety of Vietnamese desserts like che, which I did not get a chance to try this time. My coworker loved their traditional Vietnamese hot coffee. I do not drink coffee, but I did enjoy one of their smoothies, which was refreshing and delicious. Overall, CODA Bakery is a go to spot for authentic Vietnamese flavors and one of the best places in Albuquerque for banh mi.

First, impression, the service was polite and understanding. The sandwich and drink came out within 10 min. Their Banh Mi was flavorful and was in a 9in roll that was lightly crispy and filled pretty well. I am used to shorter rolls that are stuffed way more. I felt like I ate more bread than toppings, otherwise I would rate it higher. It's about a $12 sandwich, on par with Subway footlong prices. The fruit tea was great, although I question the practicality of the canister it was served in. Instead of a plastic cup with a straw/no straw, it was in a plastic can that you can open like a soda can on top. I disliked how I couldn't reseal it or reuse it. If I wanted to recycle it, I'd have to put effort taking out the lemon wedges, which I did in order to. So, if I had the choice, I wouldn't get those cans. Everything costed about $20 before tip. I think in the future, I'll ask if I can get extra meat and veggies to make the Banh Mi feel more full. The place was also very bright and clean. I liked the atmosphere where there's plenty of seating. They also have every table with soup utensils and condiments bc they also serve pho.
