My favorites were the Lemongrass Chicken Wings, Chow Mein & Jumbo Salt Pepper Shrimp Their wings reminds me of San Tung wings in sf, the noodles in the chow mein has a nice bouncy texture & the fried shrimp was so crispy, I didn't have to remove the shell. Oh and the shrimp are HUGE I also heard good things about their pho. I noticed other tables around us ordered their different noodle dishes. Their drinks were yummy and I was pleasantly surprised with their options and quality of ingredients for a non Milk Tea specific establishment. The 2 women working the front were very nice & helpful. They were moving nonstop to take orders, serve tables, ring up guest, clean tables and also make drinks. The restaurant has 10-15 tables for seating and plenty of parking outside. The last point that will keep me coming back is the price. I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I brought my family there for a late lunch for the first time. Our table was dirty. It had a greasy dirty touch to it, like it wasn't cleaned for days, just wiped with a wet towel. We had to wipe the table down with baby wipes. Yes, we had some baby wipes since my granddaughter was with us. Not only the table was dirty, the small condiment bowls where you place the sauce in, were sticky. The bowls stuck to each other. It was so sad. I asked for a cup of hot water with lemon, they gave me my hot drink in plastic drinking glass, same glass that they serve their cold drinks in. I asked for a coffee cup instead of a plastic glass for my hot water and they said "NO, the cups are only for Tea". I was surprised that we stated for the meal, but I was with my family and they were hungry. The whole eating experience was so sad. Will I go to this restaurant again? NO! We always love coming here! Not only is the food great but their drinks are the best in Monterey County. We have tried the smoothies, fruit teas & coffees and have never been disappointed. Sometimes there have an off day where our food is a little more on the salty side but overall good spot for Vietnamese food. Pho Lucky is our go to spot for pho but the pho here is good too. Highly recommend the fried chicken wings, catfish, crispy crepes, and fried spring rolls. Their beef bahn mi is tasty too but they run out sometimes. Their boba teas are so-so. I stopped by here while on a trip to the Monterey area as they had some vegetarian options. I ordered a lemongrass tofu on fried rice, regular size. It actually tasted more like sweet and sour sauce with just mild lemongrass taste; I would've liked stronger lemongrass flavor. The fried rice was alright, not particularly flavorful. However, the portions are pretty good and the prices are decent, and they were pretty fast with making the food. The restaurant is also quite spacious and bathrooms were in good condition. My partner got BBQ pork, but said the way it was flavored tastes more like Chinese cuisines (e.g. Cantonese) rather than Vietnamese. My wife and I usually the egg rolls because they are very affordable but today we ordered the fried shrimp and it was amazing. My wife ordered the Spicy Lemon Grass soup. My mom and I were out early, running around in Marina, and felt rather famished lol-she told me that not too long ago. Her and my dad stopped in at QQ noodle and have delicious sandwiches and said that their pho looked amazing. To me, it was a no-brainer, delicious soup on a dreary day we were ready. We arrived about 10 minutes before they open and waited in the parking lot. They open the door promptly at 11 and welcomed us in. There was nobody else in the restaurant, so it was nice as we were the first ones there however, shortly after people started pouring in obviously because the food was crazy delicious. We both had the P 11 which is the steak pho. The pho was pretty darn good. The broth had great flavor not too salty. It was just perfect. They gave you a tremendous amount of noodles. We were very happy. Also, we had a shrimp eggroll each, which is probably the best shrimp eggroll I have ever tried in my life. We also ordered the lemon grass chicken wings. Crazy good perfect flavor cooked amazing. The wings were just the perfect amount of sauce along with the crunch, neither one was overwhelming , just perfect on all ends. As our beverage, we had a mango peach tea that was not too sweet, they had a whole bunch of different flavored teas, milk, teas, and Boba to satisfy anyone's pallet . The service was fast. The young lady helping us was nice and attentive. The pricing is a notable mention for two large bowls of delicious soup, an order of chicken wings, and an order of egg rolls with two specialty teas it was $51. Not bad especially when we both ate super good and had enough for dinner that night. I will definitely be back with my love so him and I can try the rest of what they have to offer. THE FOOD: My go to order is the chicken pho which is pretty hard to mess up. QQ noodle never disappoints. For $10 you get a large serving of noodles, protein of your choice and either beef or chicken broth. As for sides we usually get the crispy egg rolls and the banh mi sandwich. The egg rolls are nothing special, BUT the banh mi is AH-MAZING. Trust me, just try it. Moving onto my favorite addition to any bowl of pho- the boba tea. I've tried the mango milk tea, the mango green tea, and the QQ fruit tea. All great flavors, no artificial taste here. Most drinks are under $5, which is such a great value. I'm moving to marina in the near future and I'm looking forward to becoming a regular here. THE LOCATION/SERVICE: The restaurant is located at the front of a plaza with ample parking, however it can be tight and awkward getting in and out of certain spots- so be careful. The inside has plenty of tables and we've never had to wait for a seat. Employees have always been nice, but not always the most attentive. I've been here more than a few times usually taking my food "to-go". My fave items on the menu are the jumbo salt-n-pepper shrimp and the Spicy Lemongrass soup, hold the tendon and meatballs. Today was the first time I've dined in as well as the first time I took the minis with me. As usual, the place was pristine (I swear I even saw a sparkle ) and the service was friendly. The kiddos both ordered a Strawberry Boba smoothie and asked for ice cream on top of the boba in their smoothie (apparently the ice cream on top of the Boba is common..I'm not a fan of boba so I'd never heard of it - kiddos taught me something new today).
