I've been here a few times for lunch and it has become one of my favorite pho places now. One time I came with a Vietnamese coworker. And he introduced me to a special way to have beef pho, which I didn't know about. Normally, if you order a beef noodle soup, they would place the beef slices on top of the noodles and then pour boiling soup on top of it to cook it. But my friend's way is you ask to put the uncooked beef on a separate plate. And you do your own cooking! I marinated the beef with the sriracha hot sauce and hoisin sauce. And then dropped them into the hot soup. I now have complete control of the rareness of the beef. Since I seasoned them, it tasted super good. And I had my beef medium rare also! You can do this in every pho place, not just this one. Give it a try and eat like a Vietnamese :) Sorry I almost forgot to comment on the food. The beef noodle soup was very delicious. Like in other restaurants, the noodles are served in a big bowl. So you get a lot of the tasty broth. I also feel like here they give you a lot more noodles. And it's just from their lunch menu. First time me and my husband went we had canh chua (authentic sweet and sour soup with pineapples and catfish) and ca kho (hot pot caramelized catfish) and it was delicious! Second time we had bo luc lac (shaken beef) that was so tender/flavorful and lemongrass vermicelli which my son devoured! Don't have pics of all the food but here is a pic of the canh chua!
