Fantastic mom and pop shop for the American and Vietnamese taste bud. The pho is legit as well as the traditional Vietnamese menu. There are also some off menu items for the old school Vietnamese in you. Either way, their menu caters to all. I mainly do door dash now a days as I am too busy to sit down. I've been here a few times for lunch and it has become one of my favorite pho places now. One time I came with a Vietnamese coworker. And he introduced me to a special way to have beef pho, which I didn't know about. Normally, if you order a beef noodle soup, they would place the beef slices on top of the noodles and then pour boiling soup on top of it to cook it. But my friend's way is you ask to put the uncooked beef on a separate plate. And you do your own cooking! I marinated the beef with the sriracha hot sauce and hoisin sauce. And then dropped them into the hot soup. I now have complete control of the rareness of the beef. Since I seasoned them, it tasted super good. And I had my beef medium rare also! You can do this in every pho place, not just this one. Give it a try and eat like a Vietnamese :) Sorry I almost forgot to comment on the food. The beef noodle soup was very delicious. Like in other restaurants, the noodles are served in a big bowl. So you get a lot of the tasty broth. I also feel like here they give you a lot more noodles. And it's just from their lunch menu. The pho here is ok only, nothing special. The bun bo Huế is a really bad, it doesn't smell or taste anything like beef. It seems that they use the shrimps broth to make beef soup, which is odd and terrible. The restaurant is nice looking, feels cozy but understaffed. The doors are so dirty and needed to be cleaned. The meat flavor is not traditional, and the fish sauce (nuoc nam) was diluted with vinegar. I don't know if the intent was to Americanize this dish but go ahead and skip it all together. The restaurant enjoys a great location but it is quite unclean. The spoons are not washed well, the lid of the Hoisin sauce jar is coated with residue and hasn't been cleaned. Second and third time have been a lot better! haven't had the chance to eat inside but they are great for takeout. So the food here was super awesome! Every time my boyfriend would go I'd try his food and was delicious. So I decided to go up there and finally order and dine in on my lunch break. They were extremely slow! It took almost an hour to get my food, there for making me late back to work. I tried it again the next day in the evening but this time ordering it to go, I asked them how long it would take to make they said 20 to 25 mins, I got there and still had to wait a little more than half and hour after getting there 45 mins from when they said it would be done!!! Egg rolls were nice and crunchy however did not come with traditional fish sauce. It was more like a thickened version of sweet chili sauce.
