The rare beef was also sliced a bit too thick, and the noodles didn't feel like they were freshly made. I just had such a wonderful experience at Pho Minh. I was riding my bike in PB after a workout at the gym and was craving a Vietnamese rice plate. I saw this was nearby so I rode over. A cute little place.. I have known about pho Minh for a long time and just got a chance to try now. It's a cute little place, probably can fit 15 people at most but my friend counted 20 chairs. It's a quintessential mom and pop local joint and we really wanted to like it. The food was just ok though. Perfectly fine pho but you can definitely find something better without having to try very hard. We had pork spring rolls, chicken pho and rare steak pho. The spring rolls came with nuoc cham which I thought was weird since most places serve different sauces for spring rolls. Regardless, spring rolls were solid, no complain but nothing to write home about whether. Same goes for the pho bowls. Solid but nothing to write home about. One thing that's quite different from other pho places is that, instead of bottles of hoisin sauce and sriracha sauce, they have them in packets. Probably due to the fact that most of their business is from takeouts. The fact that this place is a charming mom and pop place, we really wanted to like it. We won't mind coming back but considering that there are many better pho places around, most likely we won't get to come back here. read more
