    Spaghetti Kee Mao
    Meri A.

Hot or Not Thai never disappoints! The Drunken Noodles are spicy and tasty, while the Panang Curry is creamy and perfectly balanced. The Spaghetti Kee Mao is also another delicious noodle dish here. For appetizers, the Crispy Spring Rolls are a must--crunchy and light with a tangy dipping sauce. The Larb Todd (crispy pork balls) is another standout, packed with flavor and served with a tangy dipping sauce. And don't miss the Crispy Garlic Crab--fried to perfection and topped with savory garlic that's hard to resist. Fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying-- love this local spot and it recently made for the perfect holiday dinner.

My family and I stopped by here again on Sunday (1/19/25). I was really hungry and craving Thai food. This place does NOT disappoint! They didn't have the crispy pork that I really liked but the kra prao was just as amazing! I got it with beef. My son ate the Thai fried rice and my husband got that pad Thai with beef. The flavors here are super authentic. Don't forget to get some Thai teas with your food!!! Service is always fast and friendly. It's a nice little restaurant. Best Thai food in San Diego hands down!

The restaurant is super hot to dine in at noon and only one waitress is available for serving. The food is relatively cheap but not very delicious. The soup is very sour, fried rice is salty. The fried chicken is very crispy and the best.

Lovely Thai food restaurant with unique dishes. We love both their Tom Yum and Tom Ka soup as well as other menu items. I picked up a large Tom Yum for lunch today . it has plenty of lovely enoki mushrooms and tender chicken . My husband will be happy that he has have to soup as a leftover.

Kra Prao, lion Crying Tiger Steak

Food is amazing , friendly staff , clean bathroom. I got kra prao& my partner got the lion steak. The food was amazing , probably one of the best Thai spots we've had.

Small Tom Yum, Larb Todd, a side of rice, and Thai Iced Tea

Yum! Had a nice lunch here on their patio and it was lovely. I ordered the larb todd (meatball), a small tom yum with shrimp, a side of white rice, and a thai tea. After applying my free thai tea coupon (courtesy of my Yelp check-in), the total came out to $19.39. Awesome price for what I got, especially considering location. Service was speedy and friendly. Can't wait to try more items off their menu!

Why did they stop serving the delicious cream cheese wontons on weekends? 😭

I've never actually seen them there at the theater.

Is this kinda next to a yoga place and across from an Italian place?

Hello Chris, we are right next to PB Fitness. I think the Italian restaurant is a bit down the street next to Green Garden Nursery, but we are next to 7/11, Jug Liquor and across the street from Java Earth.

Do you have fried yellow noodle? I tried this in Phi Phi a few months ago and loved it, can't find it anywhere in SD...

Sorry, we do not have fried yellow noodles.

Retro vibes, free arcade games, and an atmosphere that feels more like a hangout than a restaurant, in a good way. Extra credit for actually letting you play the games instead of just using them as decor. I was not very hungry, so I went with the Arctik Monkey smoothie with peanut butter and chocolate. Straight up delicious and absolutely something I would order again without hesitation. My wife ordered the Feta y Verdes veggie wrap, and even she was surprised by how good it was, which says a lot because she knows her veggies. Fresh, flavorful, and genuinely satisfying. Veggie lovers, consider this your official heads up. The arcade lineup is solid too. Pac Man, Mortal Kombat II, The Simpsons, a classic Star Wars Atari cabinet, plus others. Waiting for food did not feel like waiting. It felt like killing time in the best possible way. One quick warning. The hip hop playlist is not radio edited. Totally fine for adults, but if you are bringing kids, just know you might be explaining some lyrics on the drive home. Overall, fun spot, good food, strong throwback energy. I would definitely come back.

So I took a seat at their bar to place a to go order and the girl behind the bar was just awesome, the one from Nashville who recently moved to San Diego, hey girl! She totally hooked me up with explaining their entire menu to me and gave me recommendations. I got the Medi bowl with chicken, quinoa, pickled red onions, feta, tzatziki, tomatoes, cucumbers, garbanzo beans, which appeared to be fried when I got them, maybe or roasted, not sure. It came with some pita on the side, it was perfect, delicious, fresh, flavorful, hit the spot. It was ready very quickly, super satisfied, big portion. We finally stopped by and boy was it an experience. We decided to indulge and got the Poke Bowl (2 scoops), Nico Burrito, and Calamari Filet. Their Poke Bowl is spicy ahi, seaweed salad, ginger, and a drizzle of sauce. So fire! The fish is super fresh. No notes! The Nico Burrito features battered white fish, rice, beans, and pico. Mayhaps the best fish burrito I've ever had. Lastly, the Calamari Filet which I think is a limited time special. Super tender, thick pieces of squid! Everything was just so fresh. We stopped in for an early dinner around 4:30 PM, and it was already fairly busy. There aren't a ton of tables inside or outside, but we were able to find a spot. Shortly after we ordered, the line stretched out the door, so I was glad we arrived when we did. The menu is fairly simple and focuses on a handful of fresh seafood options. We ordered the Grilled Shrimp Burrito, an 8 oz Red Snapper Ceviche, and the Crispy Rice Poke. Our food came out quickly. The shrimp burrito wasn't enormous, but it was a good size and came with guacamole, which was a nice addition. The shrimp was cooked well and nicely seasoned. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful, though I did find it a bit pricey at $15 for the portion size. My favorite dish was the Crispy Rice Poke. The crispy rice was topped with tuna, ginger, seaweed, and several sauces that added a lot of flavor and texture. Every bite had a nice balance of savory, tangy, and fresh flavors. Overall, the food was good, and it's definitely a solid spot if you're looking for fresh poke or seafood. Just keep in mind that the menu is intentionally simple, so there isn't a huge variety of options if you're looking for a more extensive selection.
