Came here for lunch on a Sunday and it was almost empty. Didn't matter, that pho broth was hitting. It's rich too. Prob the smallest bowl of pho I've eaten but it's packed and theyre not light with the tripe and tendons thank goodness. They also had all these faded photos with customers - at first I think they were celebrities but they were actually the regulars - it was very sweet Extremely quick service.

These are the spring rolls and amazing peanut sauce. Also in the photo is the plate full of goodies that go in your Pho .

The Pho is amazing! I got the number 1, and it was more than I could eat after having some spring rolls for an appetizer. The service is very good and organic. Great people work there to make the best pho broth and dishes. The dining room is cozy and family oriented. There's parking In front and in back. This is a regular stop for us.

Went to a local pho spot my friend lives next to that he goes to regularly. We had our orders taken promptly and the food came out fast and hot. I got the Chicken Pho. I upgraded to the large bowl and the price was still very reasonable. I'm unsure if they use beef or chicken broth in the chicken pho since my stomach started hurting immediately after eating. Overall good food for the price.

Pho So Muy Bien!!! By far the best Pho spot in Southern California. Nestled in Pacific Beach, pho sao bien offers delicious variety of pho options. My go to is the #11 steak and brisket. Bowls come in regular or large but regular is certainly enough. Add some chili, Jalapeño, mint leaves and you're on your way to a wonderful meal. Great friendly staff and service, $3 happy hour beers at 3pm. Not big indoor dining but sufficient. Tiny lot in front so parking is limited. Great for hangovers or sickness cures too!

Amazing food! Amazing service. The ambiance was calming and perfect. I enjoyed my experience.

Nice pho and a good choice for a quick lunch. I felt the broth was a little overly heavy on cinnamon. If they pare it back a bit and also add a bit more meat/beef offal to the soup it would be perfect 5-stars for me.

Pho Sao Bien is a good solid stop for vietnamese food. I have been going for years and really like their soup stock. They give a generous amount of noodles and veggies on to go orders as well. My two small cons are the parking (Garnet is busy and their lot in front can be hard to get in and out of) and the packing for to go. They only give you a thin bag for transporting which can get messy with soup.

My favorite place!!!! Super authentic & local spot. The pho and egg rolls are hands down the best in town

Ordered the bbq pork viet sandwich. Decent size. I called in to order and my order was already ready. I like how they gave the veggies on side so they dont get soggy.

They bring authentic Vietnamese…read moredishes, and a few that I haven't seen anywhere else in San Diego yet! - PARKING - Large lot for all the businesses in this plaza - we've never had a problem finding a spot. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Very welcoming staff, always friendly whenever we come back! Love the high ceilings and natural light that comes in during the day. Lots of booths and a few long tables if you happen to have a large party. After we order, it really only takes about 10 minutes for the first dish to come out, then they all start rolling out fairly quick! - FOOD - Bun Cha Ha Noi: This is one of my absolute favorite dishes here, and I rarely see it offered anywhere else! So fresh, yet packed with a ton of flavor! Perfect for the warmer months, but I could eat it at any time! Wagyu Hot Stone Pho: You can tell the meat is better quality than other options. My favorite part is the fresh pho noodles though! So silky and love the boiling hot stone bowl! Shaken Beef: This is always a head turner, with the sizzling noises and very aromatic scent it brings. I feel like the last time I had it with the garlic noodles, the noodles weren't flavorful enough, or maybe the beef was just overpowering any other flavor I ate. Will probably stick with Rice the next time! - OVERALL - A great spot for authentic Vietnamese food!!!

Pho Time is a locally owned Vietnamese fusion restaurant that has been around the neighborhood for…read morealmost two decades now. It's located in an internal corner suite of the PB Plaza with updated external signage since the last time I visited. Parking in the shared lot can be difficult when the neighboring businesses are operating during their normal hours. The dining area had enough seating for close to 100 customers, but it was less than half occupied when I came for dinner. I sat at a booth not far from the entrance. The bench seating was a bit awkward because the seat cushion kept raising up if I leaned forward. After perusing the menu booklet, I decided on items that were different than my typical choices of spring rolls, pho, or bun. I started with the Grilled Sugar Cane Shrimp as an appetizer. This was minced shrimp meat cooked on a sugar cane skewer, of which there were a pair on the dish. A sweet chili dipping sauce and some lettuce leaves came with the order. The item was like a shrimp meatball except shaped as an oval. The flavor was good and enhanced by the sauce. I also picked the Garlic Noodles with Shaken Beef. The noodles came on a separate plate while the grilled filet mignon cubes were served on a hot cast iron skillet. Bell peppers and white onions accompanied the meat on the cow-shaped skillet. The cubes were slightly overcooked, but the more concerning aspect was the oil that pooled up on one end of the cast iron. The noodles were cooked without any sauce, just garlic seasoning applied. I don't know if there was some contamination, but I detected an acrid odor versus a pungent garlic flavor. The food was prepared fairly quickly by the kitchen, and both items arrived simultaneously. I liked the appetizer much better than the entree. The worker who served me was pleasant and helpful. I gave a 3.5 star rating for my latest dining experience at Pho Time.

Their crudo, congee, egg noodles and dry aged duck stood out to me the most upon first glance. They do require a $20 per person deposit to book the appt but it gets refunded as soon as ur seated. They have a beautiful and elegant indoor to outdoor set up with booths as well as tables and covered patio seating. We were initially sat at the booth which were so nice with the leather but it got a little cold and they were so kind to help us find a warmer location next to the window. It was perfect! We ordered the blufin crudo, the handmade egg noodles, and the dry aged duck. They recommend u put in the full order first but they send out each course one after the other and time it for u which is nice. Bluefin crudo 5/5: so fresh and that sauce is so bright and refreshing w avocados and veggies. Egg noodles 4.5/5: they were delicious, unique flavors ive never had before in Vietnamese cuisine but it was so good! Just one note it was a lil on the tangy salty side but i still enjoyed it! Spicy as well. Didnt finish the pork bc it was a bit salty. Dry aged duck 4.5/5: this was also so good! Love all The veggies that come with it and some cooked noodles. The sauces r to die for. There were just some pieces that were harder to chew bc of the medium rare and thick slices and as it cooled down, but there was so much meat and perfectly medium cooked can't really complain! The dessert we got was the Banana bread with banana ice cream. It was so warm and soft and the ice cream delicious! The service was so attentive and felt very fine dining with very reasonable price for everything we ordered. Also a note automatic 20% gratuity shared with everyone including back of house which is so nice and u can give addl tip for the waiter which we did! Def recommend when in area!
