    Beef pho
    Alexandra R.

Had just finished an appointment and me and my mom were craving some pho and luckily we came across this cute family restaurant. Service was great, we loved the beef pho and Thai iced tea!! Everything came out to be $33 which was insane since other places we end up paying more than $50 for two people lol. Definitely check this place out and let's keep them in business!!

My recent favorite pho spot!!! Came here two weekends in a row! Can't believe they have such a good deal. Their pho (any size) plus any drink (except smoothies) are only $17.95!! Definitely filled me up and they are generous with the meat amount. I recommended this place to my friends every time when I come here because they have such a great value. Not to mention that their service is excellent (I have been to both of their locations!) and both locations offer great and friendly service. Definitely get their pho combo (pho + drink) and best food to have no matter it's rainy or shiny!! Will recommend this to anyone :)

We were heading to Dim Sum King, but I caught the Pho Nam sign in the order of my eyes. Been craving Pho, so we decided on the Bowl of Pho and drink combo, and an order of egg rolls. The pho was fantastic. Not too rich nor salty. The eggeolls were just ok. The CA Phe Sua Da is freshly brewed at your table. You let it drop through the filter into the cup, mix it with the condensed milk, then pour it into your glass of ice.. and enjoy! Would definitely come back if im craving Pho and am nearby.

This is one of my favorite spots for lunch! As usual, I ordered the chicken with egg rolls over rice. The food tastes great, and their friendly service really stands out. I love the warm and welcoming vibe they provide to every customer. Highly recommend this place for a satisfying meal and excellent service!

Great pho at an even greater price. The service is great and you never have to wait long for your food. It's a repeat.

Yummmmm. Light clean flavor, I got the combo where you get a soup and a drink for $17.95 (price in March 2025) Soup was very flavorful but extremely light. Super tender meat, the noodles were a bit under but they fixed themselves after a few minutes in the broth. An OG legend spot for sure.

The essence of a great pho is in the BROTH. This traditional pho noodle house will not disappoint you. The broth is tasty and it tastes like it was boiled for a while instead of powder mixed broth. I also don't get thirsty after. They also have vegetarian version with meat broth though. In addition to the pho, they also serve rice plate with pork, beef or seafood. Egg rolls, spring rolls in the appetizer selection. If you plan to get a drink, they offer combo pho (any size) plus a drink for $17.75. A good deal for a meal. The building is unique in a tall triangle shape inside a strip mall on El Camino Real. It is becoming a favorite place for my coffee group friends to hang out here.

My wife has been going here since she was a kid and her family introduced it to me. I had been craving it for weeks before we went this time - even though it was a warm day outside this 100% hit the spot. The restaurant always feels so cozy, the service is so fast. The food comes out so quick it's almost like fast food, but the quality is 100x better. I always get the large size of #1, i'd not have expected myself to enjoy all cuts of meat inside but they just go together so well. My wife gets a small size of #6, and then we share an order of the fried rolls and a strawberry smoothie with pearls. The pho is hot with delicious broth and generous portions of meat and noodles. They come with bean sprouts, lime, basil leaves, and sliced jalapeño on the side that you can add into your pho (add it right away while the broth is the hottest). Personally, I love bean sprouts so I add whatever my wife doesn't want, but I add a bit of everything else too. My wife enjoys the fried rolls, she wraps them in lettuce and dips in the fish sauce. I do without the fish sauce, but eat it with the pickled carrots that come on the plate. The strawberry smoothie always is a great sweet treat and their bobs texture is nice and chewy. In the summer sometime we stop by and order just a smoothie to go. We also always joke and pick some shape to draw in the little sauce bowl with the sriracha. 10/10 recommend eating here!! Whenever my parents come into town they make sure we bring them here too.

3.5 stars! I come here a lot with my bf since this is one of his go to spots in sunnyvale I've tried a lot of their dishes and I think their best is their com tams (rice plates). We also always get their pork rolls and they're pretty good! Love the service here the workers are always nice and cheerful

Simple and reliable place to get a decent bowl of pho. Plenty of meat and noodles with a savory but not too salty broth. They also provided a good portion of bean sprouts on the side. Also got the pork vermicelli bowl with egg rolls and that was delicious too.

It's a nice pho restaurant. The pho is nice and it's not expensive. Great for some simple lunch or dinner.

Vegetarians, do not go here. There are literally no vegetarian options. Must be good for meat options though. Was crowded.

While having pho at Pho Nam, I considered grabbing a few sandwiches there to bring back to the hotel. I had a hot date with Netflix later and absolutely no intention of going out again. But not far away is Cam Hung, a tiny Vietnamese sandwich shop specializing in bánh mì. It's cheap, and it's in the kind of quiet Sunnyvale strip mall where parking is not an act of war. It shares the plaza with a Chinese herbalist and acupuncturist. On a Sunday afternoon, the place was practically deserted. Perfect. I walked in and immediately realized this was much more than a sandwich counter. The tiny shop is crammed with prepared foods, spring rolls, steamed buns, Vietnamese desserts, dried snacks, candy and all kinds of things I couldn't identify but probably wanted. The main attraction, however, is the bánh mì. These are big sandwiches, and even the most expensive ones top out at around $9. I got a Chinese barbecue pork and a ham and pork roll to take back to the hotel, along with a bag of roasted candied garlic and chile peanuts. I came dangerously close to buying the peanut brittle too, but the sugar would have nailed me. Even I have limits.

I appreciate that as someone always wants Vietnamese food. The banh cuon hits as expected We also tried the banh beo, and unfortunately that one was a miss for us. I am one of those people who thinks that just about every meal needs animal protein or it won't be satisfying. Well, Happy Flower proved me wrong because I came away with a very happy and full stomach and I did not even miss the meat! We ordered 8 different dishes to share family style, and I was especially pleased with the all seasons sampler and vegan fried rolls appetizers, as well as the pad Thai, salted fish fried rice, hainan chicken rice, tomato fish, and happy clay pot entrees. Each dish was quite large such that all 9 of us were able to try generous portions of each dish. And then we got two servings of the mango sticky rice to share and the mango was amazingly sweet! I did not try their boba drinks, but a few of my friends ordered drinks and enjoyed them. Their boba drinks are sized quite large as well. I will say, the meat doesn't necessarily taste like the meat it purports to imitate, but the textures for the fake chicken and fish are pretty spot on! Service was friendly and helpful and they delivered the dishes at a good pace. The inside isn't fancy, but it's clean and well lit and spacious. I wish I had known about this hidden gem sooner, but they had a good clip of takeout orders and families coming in for dinner. Parking is also plentiful and easy in their large attached lot. I will be back!

Crispy, and there is salt and black pepper in it, but overall it doesn't have much flavor outside of the sauce. Lemongrass fish lunch plate modified to have soy beef (you can switch out the protein): The broccoli itself itself was just steamed with no flavoring, so that was underwhelming. But the lemongrass beef is pretty good, firm and chewy not spicy. One of the others in my party got the eastern duck soup, which has a stronger soup flavor, you can taste the anise. It also has shiitake mushrooms. It came with veggie drumsticks, on an actual stick, but just takes like soy protein, doesn't really taste like duck. I tried a bit of Cali pho too, which was mild but pleasant, it has a ton of vegetables. Overall I'd give it more of a 3.5/5, there were certainly some items that could've used better seasoning/flavoring, but I do appreciate the amount of options that are suitable for vegetarians and actually being able to enjoy noodle soups that would usually have been meat-based. They do have outdoor tables and at the time when I had gone, no one else was sitting outside.
