Portion size is massive here! I can eat a lot and I could not finish the large. A small would be good for most people. Unfortunately this gets a 3 for the following reasons. Broth was not too flavorful. Pho only came with literally 3 slices of jalapeño and a quarter cup of watercrest. I had to ask for Thai basil. The pho itself only had maybe 5 - 6 slices of meat. The fresh springs rolls were super good though. I would rather go to a mom and pop pho place that loads you up with the condiments, more flavor and more beef, probably for cheaper too. Shitty service. The girls are always in a bad mood no matter the time of day. They never answer the phone to place an order or speak with anyone. Today I ordered my pho for pick up online. Showed up the girl didn't even greet me or anything just walked away and started fixing the bags of bean sprouts. After I stood there for about 3 min she just walks up to me doesn't say anything.... I said "pick up for Dulce" and she just walks away. The only thing she said to me was "do you need chopsticks". The food is delicious but honestly it makes you not want to go in for anything there . The perfect meal to have when you're undergoing a sore throat. Restaurant is very clean and has a chill ambience. They do have street parking in front but TIP: if you go turn on Otsego and enter the apartment building to the left you're allowed to park on any spaces that say 'RETAIL'. They also have bathrooms in the back hall. Ordered Pho Nam (brisket) and Pho Seafood (includes mussels, fish balls, and shrimp). My boyfriend and I loved these two bowls 9/10 from both of us. I tried ordering the Milk tea boba but they said they no longer carry that flavor so i got the thai tea boba 7/10. They do offer sriracha if you like your pho in the spicier side. I like to add lime in mine to enhance the flavor. The pho seafood was a lot yummier than i had expected. The fish balls & mussels were sooo delicious it was the best part of the pho. On a cold rainy Sunday Pho is the best dinner. Pho NOHO was super easy to find and had a lot of street and garage parking. My mom and I were greeted immediately when we walked in. Ordered: House pho - every meat and tripe (small) Meatball Pho - large Dumplings Egg rolls Hardly any wait time and it seat yourself. Pho broth on point and meats were tender and not chewy. A good portion of meat and noodles for each bowl. Egg rolls and dumpling has great flavor just bummed that we had to pay for each piece instead of like a platter price. I hate writing reviews and the only reason why go to this place is because it's one of the pho restaurants in the area, but I am beyond frustrated with this place on a consistent basis. They seem to go out of their way to either mess your order up or just not care and I don't know what it's gonna take for them to get it, i've had numerous conversations with the owner. What a delightful lunch! Ordered pho ga and a Vietnamese coffee on their website for pickup. Street parking was easy to find upon arrival. My order was hot and ready when I arrived! The inside of the restaurant is very modern, clean and bright. I loved the takeout container the pho came in. It was actually big enough to pour the broth it without it overflowing. When ordering, you have your choice between beef or veggie broth and I went with beef. It had a nice flavor, maybe a little salty for my taste, but lots of umami! We have been to this restaurant twice in the past several weeks. We decided to give them a try when we had a Pho craving, but didn't want to drive too far, as this place was literally just blocks from us and had decent reviews. When we arrived, we liked the decor. The staff member who was there seemed nice. We were surprised that we had order via the kiosk and pay first (inclusive of tip) prior to be seated. We ordered and tipped 15% not knowing if the service or food would be any good. When the Pho arrived, it was decent and the broth (both beef & vegetable) were flavorful without being too salty or too much msg. We didn't get any appetizers as this was our recon trip for the main attraction... the Pho. The thing that we found strange though was the stinginess of basil, bean sprouts, jalapeño, and lime. We asked the server for more and she brought us an additional small plate. Since we had a good 1st experience we decided to go back again and this time we brought our kids. In addition to ordering 3 orders of Pho, we also ordered a rice dish and some appetizers and pre-paid like last time along with a 15% tip. There was a different staff member at the register this time, but the kitchen staff seemed to be the same people I think. They have a semi open kitchen. All was going well, but then when the Pho arrived, it was super salty. Both the beef and chicken were crazy salty. We added some water to our Pho in hopes of diluting the saltiness. They were also stingier this time on the amount of bean sprouts, basil, peppers, and lime than last time. The BBQ rib rice dish arrived and the flavor was okay, but the BBQ ribs were horrible. The texture was like leather. The rice was the better part of this particular dish. Then the Spicy Chicken Wings arrived. OMG, they were so salty that they were inedible. My kids both love spicy wings, whether Buffalo style, Chinese style, Korean Style, but these particular wings were so bad they wouldn't eat them. I initially thought they were being picky, so I tried one, and the salt meter was off the charts. I went to the staff and informed them of the food situation. She told me that she was new and that she would inform the kitchen. I went back to my table fully expecting the kitchen to remake the wings. After a few minutes passed, I asked her about the wings and the pho. She told me that everything comes predone and they have no control over the saltiness. I asked her to clarify what she meant and she said that the sauce for the wings comes from another vendor and is premade. They essentially heat it up. I then asked about the Pho, and she said that it was the same way with the broth!? I told her that I thought Pho restaurants make their own broth from scratch. She said she didn't know, but would tell the kitchen staff. I went to grab the wings and gave them back to her saying that these are not fit for consumption. After I walked away, I saw her giving the plate of wings to the kitchen staff and they all seemed to have a nice chuckle at my family's experience with their food. There was no manager present when we were dining there and the new girl was in charge. Needless to say, I'm crossing this place off my list of good or even decent Pho restaurants in the SFV. It had so much potential and the location is great, but the food was horrible and the lack luster service was equally horrible. read more

Are you that person that loves Pho!! Well this place is a cool spot in North Hollywood. The place is clean to start off not a lot of good Pho restaurants are clean as this place also has a good broth to have on a winter weather in California... look at my weather picture lol. We got the house special which come with all the trimming. I got the large which is a bit to much just seems same portion as the small with more broth if that's your fancy. We also got the boba Thai ice tea and can't forget the spring rolls! Broth is good but not the best but does make up for the cleanness of the cool quite lunch break. Workers are clean and area to order is clean as well. Chairs and table are also clean and floor is clean as well. Also FIY there is a bathroom but you have to walk outside the back and kinda scary. Finally the price to eat at this place is about $49 for 2 with what we got. A bit pricey and was it worth it. Again this place is design for the locals to come who live down the streets as there are a lots of cool apartments around and parking is on the street so come 30min early if you plan on getting to this place on time. I've tried a lot of the Pho places in and around the North Hollywood area - was surprised I hadn't tried this place. It's like 10 mins from my house, so I called to place an order for a Pho Tai. The lady on the phone was really nice and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Drove there and wasn't sure where to park - the GPS took me into a structured lot, so I went in and assumed that I could park there? Walked down to the place to pick up my pho. I saw that they had oxtail pho, which I like to get sometimes so I can give my dogs the bones. I asked to add it, but she told me it doesn't come with the bones. So I just took my food home. Got take out and it was very quick got my order right and it met all my expectations. I got the vegetarian pho and the broth was flavorful and added spice to it and it was indeed very spicy! Next time maybe I'll get on the side but for the price I got a lot of food which is always nice also place seemed pretty clean for a noho establishment. I wish the take out bowl was bigger bc I had to transfer it all together in my large salad bowl bc it would be hard to eat if I ate it out of their containers. I still would give this place a 5 star for flavor, amount of food given, and service! This is def gonna be my go to spot of pho nearby. This is my bf & I's favorite neighborhood spot :) It's counter service, & we usually get the same cashier, with the occasional other one, and she's very friendly. We usually share one pho, and one other meal like fried rice or egg rolls and they always remember to bring us extra plates, bowls, and limes, or they atleast bring it when we ask super fast. They're usually playing some chill electronic/ pop music & I like that you can pick where you sit and there's always ample space. And they have a station where you can help yourself with extra water, napkins, Togo boxes. Makes it all very efficient. Hope this place sticks around for awhile! Food hits every time :) read more

First timers here. We recently moved to Studio City and the man and I walked in hopeful that we'd found a more local pho spot than our old go-to's (we are diehard fans of Pho So 1 and Pho 999 in Van Nuys). Today's order consisted of dishes very difficult to fuck up: spring rolls and pho bowls. Spring rolls - 10/10. Would order again, loved that we could choose our protein (bbq beef, bbq chicken, shrimp, tofu, veggies) as well as the amount of rolls we wanted. Traditional pho spots only have shrimp spring rolls and one order consists of only two. The peanut sauce tastes authentic and looked very fresh. Pho bowls, tai and house special - 10/10. The size of both small and large bowls was good, amount of protein included also great. Broth was flavorful, delicious and most importantly hot enough to finish cooking the rare steak in my bowl. Pho sides - 7/10. I loved that we each got a small prep bowl with our own sides to pick from and that the condiments bottles weren't sticky lol, but the basil was missing from each prep bowl. I did overhear a table a few feet away request basil and I believe their request was granted but we did without. Basil is a staple side though, I don't believe it's something to make a special request for, and because of that they got docked a few points in my book. read more

OK this review kind of saddens me because I'm gonna give them four out of five as when we first started going there for the first five times the broth was exceptional tasty, hot and amazing! So was the service... sometimes. The worst thing is to come to your local spot and not feel welcome. I think it's a family run business so I can understand tensions can run high but I don't think that should fall on customers. Foot it's good. But the SERVICE at the front with the girl that takes your orders is the WORST in NoHo for sure. I'm new in the area and I love to try the local restaurants where I live. Si this place was one of the 1st places my wife wanted to try. I came here for the Kimchi & Beef Fried Rice topped with a Fried Egg. A good dish if you've never had it. Pho NoHo does it well. The rice had a nice flavor and wasn't burnt. The fried egg was cooked perfectly. Pierce the yolk with your chopsticks and let it run out all over the rice - It's a great dish. But, not crazy about the service here. The guy on the phone was very curt. The lady who handed my order to me at pickup was also not very friendly. There were no condiments in my order and she seemed to be irritated when I asked for some. HOLY PHO!!! This place was amazing! First off, the pho here is one of the best I've ever tasted and you do get your money's worth! I got the Pho Ga, which is chicken Pho, and I asked for the small size and it looked like I ordered a large! The portion was bigger than my hand! No kidding! The noodles and the broth was divine and I'm still reminiscing of it to this day. We also got the chicken fried rice which was also scrumptious and also a good portion! Great walkable area, NoHo is a lot of fun in the evenings for nightlife and day for thrifting etc. Staff is super nice and the food comes out wicked fast, clean dining area and sauces provided. Sorry to say, but something is wrong with this pho place. Aromatics are completely off seasoning at all. Broth has no flavor. The meat taste bad. I ordered the ribeye pho which the cashier recommended. I could not eat it. The smell was so strange. It just smelled like old meat. I really didn't want to return it, but I asked her to take it back and they refused to give me a refund they offered me something else, but I didn't want to eat anything from them. Just to be polite, I asked them to exchange it with the vegetarian pho . Again, flavorless nontraditional aromatic smells something is wrong. Either the really lazy or they have bad cooks. I'm surprised this place has so many good reviews. Go to the Thai place on Magnolia and Vineland if you want soup. I cannot give this place a recommendation. read more

I am an avid lover of Pho, but this place did not hit the spot. My boyfriend and I ordered eggs rolls, spring rolls, fried rice and a pho tai. The egg rolls were really the only good part of the meal. The pho was bland and did not have much flavoring despite adding the spicy sauce. The rice was white when it came out which had me question if it was fried. I would say maybe it was because we arrived at the last hour they were open but still. Not going again. I've had their seafood Pho two days in a row now. It's sooo good. I've had this place several times and they never disappoint. I recently ordered delivery for the first time and everything was packed separately and abundantly w the exception of limes. LoL.
